We love this place! The food is so deliciously authentic! The service is always great! Everyone is treated like a regular. They are great with kids and food allergies. Alda our waitress was so sweet!

Recommended to us by some perfect strangers who loved it and we came the next day! Fantastic and authentic Italian. Chefs kiss. Whole staff were attentive and excellent and so friendly. Highly recommend.

Loved this authentic Italian pasta place. The vibe is welcoming. Food was top notch. My stomach was very tight when I left. Had to undo my jeans lol great place and will definitely return.

The staff was incredible always checked up on us, and the energy was there. Manager came around and also checked on people. The food was amazing I had the wild boar ragu also the calamari, shrimp, and rice ball appetizers were good. Definitely recommend 5 stars.

My family and I were down in NYC for a film shoot and were starving by the time we were done. We planned on going to a certain Italian restaurant but could not get in. The kids were determined that they wanted pasta but we did not know anything in the area where we were. We ended up walking in the freezing cold to get to a restaurant I saw about 8 blocks away on Google Maps. As we walked we stumbled on this neat spot and the girls being so hungry and cold determined that we would walk no further and we would take our chances here. What a GREAT choice!!!<br><br>First off, ambiance was clean, cozy, and warm. A very happy gentleman greeted us and as it turned out he was the owner (did not know that till the next day when I looked up info on the place). He got us settled right in and our serve came over and she was a charmer! Excellent first impression.<br><br>We started with simple mixed greed salad (ordered two). They were perfectly dressed and had generous amounts of good olives, fennel, baby arugula, and other fresh veggies. My youngest daughter just wanted fettuccine with butter. Since they make their pasta fresh every day she had no idea what she was asking for. Something so simple was so much better than she ever expected as she is not used to freshly made pasta. My wife and other daughter got orecchiette with broccoli rabe and they added sausage. Once again delicious. I on the other hand struggled to figure out what to get and finally settled on Pappardelle pasta with wild boar ragú and black truffle. HOLY COW! It was amazing! Three days later and I am still dreaming of it.<br><br>So in short, great ambiance, wonderful service, and food to die for. Only one slight change, I just wish the portions were just a bit larger, although for the price, it is the right amount. We will return for sure.

Mateo was a lovely waiter! He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! We enjoyed delicious truffle pasta and bruschetta. Would highly recommend visiting this high quality hidden gem!

Absolute hidden gem. Alex took amazing care of us. The attention of detail and the quality of the food is the stand out here. Cozy restaurant with a very diverse menu. No choice on the menu is the wrong one. Authentic fresh pasta. Fresh ingredient an absolute way to wow your date or your future father in law.

Pasta Eater was such a great choice for our dinner tonight! We decided to split the arancini and penne vodka, which were both so delicious! The attentive staff noticed I wasn’t able to eat much (my stomach had been on the turn all day) and were so kind and generous enough to bring us a little plate of cannoli as something light I could enjoy after the meal. Though I couldn’t finish it, it was delicious as well! I will definitely be returning when I’m not fighting my own body 😅 until then I’ll be enjoying my leftovers throughly

Very average pasta for the price point. I started with the tuna tartare which was perfectly fine (nothing EXTRAORDINARY) and followed it up with the squid ink pasta with clams. Also, very average. The pesto wasn’t superbly prominent, pasta was under-salted and not al dente, and the clams were just okay. For the price point of $30 a dish, you’re better off going to Rezdora.

This place is spectacular! I ordered the Pasta Giusto which is the one that they make in the cheese wheel. OMG!! It was sooooo good! It was an umami bomb!! My husband ordered the lasagna which was also delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked.<br><br>We also had some focaccia with olive oil…yummy!! We had the burrata which was lovely. For dessert, we had the semi-freddo which was delicious and refreshing. Everything we ate was spectacular!<br><br>The service was excellent! The servers were friendly and work as a team which I really appreciate. Anytime a server walked by our table and there was something that needed to be done, they did it.<br><br>We will definitely go back the next time we’re in NYC!!

Pasta Eater never disappoints! We had a great evening celebrating our dear friend's birthday. The food is stellar. The pasta is fresh made and the quality of the ingredients used is very high. Each dish is cooked with love. The staff is super kind, warm, attentive and welcoming. The new menu is great and super tasty. Our guests were so pleased and happy about the quality, texture and taste of every single dish we ordered. We had a great evening at Pasta Eater. A big special thank you to Giusto and Matteo for making our dining experience memorable. We can't wait to go back. Ancora grazie.

Went here for my lunch break from work. The lunch special is relatively affordable with a $16 lunch special. Comes with bread. I had the spaghetti and meet ball. The pasta was pretty fresh we they make it in house. Definitely would come back.

5 stars overall due to the great service that our bartender provided. Food was really good, tartar was solid and the black ink pasta was very delicious, they did not disappoint and the pasta had lots of shrimp which I appreciated. The risotto was bland and I've definitely had better but our server/bartender noticed and asked my girlfriend if she didn't like it. She also gave us a 10% discount and treated us to a dessert on the house which was unexpected and very nice of her. We left feeling happy and will definitely come back.
