My partner and I just came to Caridad, Broadway for lunch and I got myself an Oxtail Stew that tasted absolutely amazing. That was not the only highlight of our experience at Caridad, we were also greeted with a delightful soup and corn-on-the-cob the second Victor realised I was confused between the Sancocho (which is a soup that comes with corn) and the Oxtail Stew, and Victor could tell it was the corn that would really make my day. Victor gave us a very great time from the bottom of his heart with his hospitality and we will definitely come back again after this wonderful experience.
Response from the owner
Afia, now that is a review that makes a busy owner stop and read twice. Victor saw you were torn between the oxtail stew and the sancocho and instead of just taking your order he gave you both in a way the soup and the corn on the side. That is old school hospitality, the kind you don't teach. That oxtail stew you loved is one of those dishes that takes hours to get right and when someone notices the difference it means everything to us. You and your partner come back anytime and I promise Victor will remember you.

Lic. Espinal, owner of Caridad Restaurant on Broadway
