had a really nice experience at Mama Sushi! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is very energetic and lively. The music is playing, people are enjoying themselves, and it honestly feels more like a party than a typical restaurant. It’s a great spot if you’re going out with friends, celebrating a birthday, or just looking for a fun night out.<br><br>The food was definitely a highlight. Their sushi is more on the fusion side, not super traditional, but very flavorful and creative. The rolls come with a lot of toppings and sauces, and the portions are actually pretty generous. Everything I tried was well-seasoned and satisfying.<br><br>Service was friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy it gets. The place can get crowded and loud, especially later in the evening, so just keep that in mind if you’re looking for a quiet dinner. This is more of a high-energy, social atmosphere.<br><br>Overall, I would definitely come back. If you’re looking for good food, fun vibes, and a place to enjoy yourself with friends, Mama Sushi is a solid choice!

I really love their various rolls, there are both classic versions and interesting original ones. The last time I tried a warm shrimp roll, it was just a delight! The combination of flavors is perfect. The packaging is always airtight

What wonderful service we experienced there. All the employees are super kind. Jain, was our server and he was amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot for any occasion.

As I sit in this empty establishment, I’m honestly baffled by the lack of customer service. There were no more than 10 paying customers, with at least 50 chairs and multiple empty tables available.<br><br>We politely asked to be accommodated due to the amount of food we ordered and the limited space we were given, requesting either an additional table or to move to another one. The waitress said he needed to “ask” the manager, who immediately said no. I then asked to speak directly with the manager, who never came over.<br><br>At that point, I requested to cancel my order.<br><br>As someone who works in the customer service industry, this interaction was genuinely disappointing. Especially because:<br>1. The restaurant was nearly empty<br>2. A reasonable customer request was treated like an inconvenience<br><br>Save your time and money , go somewhere you’re valued and appreciated as a customer. 🙂

Drinks were flowing, food came out on time, and no one ever felt rushed or forgotten. Tried Mamasushi with a 6 people , every one liked the food and drinks. The place is nice and clean , great customer service and good location.

Not coming back after this disgusting mojito I wish I had seen it before my girlfriend and I took a zip. One leaves weren’t crushed just thrown in there whole and rotten and with the entire stems too wt!??. One would think a bartender would at least make sure they’re serving fresh or good looking mint leaves before they put them in someone’s drink. I saw something dark in there I just had to take it out and see what it was sadly it was already too late. Who ever the mediocre bartender was and served that should be fired immediately.<br><br>Another thing they always play super loud music don’t read the room people can’t even hear their thoughts or speak to each other. I thought It’s a restaurant not a club smh

We expected more Spanish food options being that it's an Asian/Spanish fusion restaurant but that wasn't the case. It was pretty pricey for just mediocre. Service wasn't the best but the atmosphere was nice. Sadly I wouldn't visit this place again being that it's not my cup of tea with some many other options out here in NYC.

We checked out MamaSushi recently. The place itself is really nice & awesome vibe, great music, and a cool setup. Definitely a 10/10 on ambiance.<br><br>We ordered some of the cooked sushi rolls (our choice), and while they looked good, the taste was just okay, not bad, but nothing that really stood out either. Probably more about our personal preference than anything wrong with the food.<br><br>Service was solid, friendly and on point. No complaints there.<br><br>Overall, a fun spot to hang out. We’d come back again, maybe try some different dishes next time.

Mamasushi never disappoints!!! Been coming here for years and the vibes are always amazing. Food and drinks on point . Thank you to my waiter Rosalba for being so attentive and kind. Definitely recommend coming here for happy hour or a nice date 💛

You can’t go wrong with any mama location. Great food, great atmosphere. Have yet to have a bad experience.

Came in after 8 pm, no wait. Immediately seated. Strict establishment, multiple workers came to tell me I wasn’t able to have my cupcake that was in a red solo cup on their table. Staff provided a container and bag to put the cupcake in.<br>Food-Delicious and fresh. Very tasty.<br>Drinks-Flavorful and Strong<br>Customer Service- Server Jenny was amazing, friendly and on point with attentiveness and recommendation.<br>Atmosphere-It’s a vibe, everyone is in their own world, vibing, smoking hookah or conversing with their party<br>Music-Loud<br>Location was Clean. It is the perfect one-stop spot for hookah food and drinks. The staff were very polite and attentive from beginning to end; the atmosphere was chill good music. Perfect for date night or family night. In door and outdoor seating upon availability. Drinks and food taste really good/flavorful. If you would like Hookah, you have to pay $40 cash (cash only) on the spot; a guy will bring it to your table.. Go on and enjoy :)
