Used to be my favorite place in NYC, unfortunately the menu has shrunk from the good old days, from a book to a picture menu with limited selection. Still the food is great, real and authentic. And as everything in NYC these days, prices are not what they used to be...

Nha Trang One has become my absolute favorite local Vietnamese restaurant. I have lived in this neighborhood for nearly a decade and am familiar with the other Vietnamese restaurants on the block. But my go to is always Nha Trang One. Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the experience is always exceptional.

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is incredibly kind. It’s the type of place that keeps you coming back not only because the food is amazing, but because the service makes you feel at home.

I also really appreciate the attention they put into their takeout orders. Everything is packaged carefully and thoughtfully so nothing spills, the food stays fresh, and each dish arrives as close as you can get to an in person restaurant experience. You can tell they truly care about the customer experience from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for incredible Vietnamese food and consistently wonderful service.
I loved it, and can’t wait to go back. One of the best bowls of pho I’ve had in nyc.
I love their bahn me. One of the best that I’ve had so far. And their vegetable is good with rice. Although the weather today (windy/cold) calls for soup, I decided to go with my gut and order sandwich. And everything was yummy
One of the best Authentic Vietnamese food in New York City. Awesome spring roll. Great Pho Dac Biet and Grilled Pork. Portions are huge. Staff is really friendly.
This is a great Vietnamese restaurant that I've been going to for a couple of years. The food is authentic, flavorful and very well priced for the portion size.
I only had the Pho, but my lord was it good. The portion was huge too - which i loved. Service atmosphere absolutely zero complaints. Highly recommend. Will be coming back soon.

(Pho pictured includes sauce I added)
One of the best Vietnamese Restaurant in NYC. Must get is their Pho Dac Biet. Grill Pork Chop and Spring Roll were awesome. The staff is friendly and treat you like family.
Tried the chicken curry. As someone of Bengali origin, I like try the curry from other countries so I can taste the different ways of making it.

Overall a great dining in experience. Sorry about my American friends being a little loud...
It's clean and orderly and they accept credit card.

The Pho's soup didn't have the deep flavor I usually like but the noodles were soft and a bit chewy. Had a pork dish and the chicken fried rolls as well. Everything tasted just okay, nothing great.
The Pho Tai was excellent and a fantastic deal. A generous serving of tender beef, flavorful yet clean broth makes for a fantastic meal. I am going to come back to try the Bahn Mi which looks fantastic
First time I came here was back in 2000 after doing Jury Duty across the street. :) What’s funny is that there’s another Vietnamese restaurant next to this one, so if you can’t get a seat here, you can try the other place.

Been having Vietnamese food since like the 5th grade and this one is pretty much like a lot of them in Chinatown and other places in the NYC-area. No frills, and got exactly what I wanted quickly in a very simple setting with a friendly staff. Would definitely go again.
I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. If you are looking for true authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this is the spot to be. The owner, Andy, takes his time and goes around to each table and says hello when he can. The broth of the bun bo hue is rich. Their sauteed calamari is out of this world (100% reccomend you get this as a table appetizer.

Had to definitely get an order of fresh pressed sugarcane juice with kumquat. Their special combo rice vermicelli bowl is also so decadent, featuring their unique shredded taro cakes and crunchy chay gio.

This place gets packed quick on weekends, so be sure to go early. The food is hot & fresh and the hospitality is amazing.
delicious. affordable. quality service. What else can you ask for???? Banh mi was sliiiiightly dry but asked for spicy mayo on the side and it was perfect. Pho was rich.
This place is excellent if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Prices are somewhat reasonable, although the quantities are smaller compared to most Vietnamese restaurants.

They have great spring rolls, excellent of all varieties, and they even have good fried rice.

They get four stars only for billing reasons. First, they do charge 3% extra on credit cards. But the bigger issues that they calculate tip for you on top of the tax amount. This is definitely a shady business practice as tip should only be calculated on the subtotal and not inclusive with the tax.

Service is fine, however, they are not quick to refill water or bring extra utensil/napkins. You have to chase them down to get that.

The atmosphere is good. Pretty large restaurant for the location, and they are able to accommodate bigger groups up to 8 people.

Overall, I would definitely return again, but make sure you calculate your tip on your own and not use the pre-calculated amount they provide.
