Best persian food i’ve had in manhattan so far. I wish the white sauce that came with the dishes was yogurt and not mayo based. Also want a fan of the lamb shank.

My friend and I had a great time breaking our fast here. We had amazing beef and chicken kabobs with sincerely delicious hummus on the side. The portions were really filling and the staff was real kinda. The atmosphere was also really nice.
The food is delicious! Can't say enough good things. So fresh and flavorful. And the service is 10/10. They're so kind and attentive.
Amazing good and great ambience. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners son. Awesome host made us feel like we were at home. He even got up during his dinner just to say thank you to us for visiting. We were blessed to have dinner here. Will be back on my next visit! Check this place out!
Holy heck this place was amazing- one of the yummiest meals I've ever eaten!
Even before my order arrived, the bread and chutney and whatever the creamy sauce was were SO good!
I ordered the Koresht Fesenjan- chiken in pomegranate sauce. It was delicious! I normally don't get tempted by rice, but in this case the rice was delicious and I just wanted to eat more to have more of the 3 different sauces (spicy cilantro chutney, creamy something- yogurt maybe?, and the pomegranate sauce on the chicken. slightly sweet, but not too much at all.)
I don't live in NY but I will definitely try to get back here next time I'm in town.
Came with my brother - We had a few things and it was really good! Probably the best Persian food I’ve had in the city, and the service was really good too. Will be back!
Great food! Great quality meat and very tasty sauces and spreads. We were 4, and had plenty! (Not pictured 10/10 Baklava)
Food was affordable and delicious, staff was incredibly kind, helpful and attentive and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!! Loved the kebabs and the hummus.
Amazing dining experience and special thanks to our waiter, Sunny. He was friendly, attentive, and truly knew the menu inside out.

Sunny recommended a dish called “Duo Delight,” and wow—what an incredible choice. The plate came with a perfectly seasoned kebab and tender, juicy chicken, both cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were rich, balanced, and genuinely impressive. It’s easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

Thanks to Sunny’s great recommendation and the overall wonderful service, this place is definitely going on my list of favorites. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time dining here! The Duo Delight was so good — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Had the chicken kebab with basmati rice and a shepards salad to start. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Very nice atmosphere, great place for a date or after work dinner with friends.
Amazing Birthday experience. I had an incredible experience at this Persian restaurant. The hospitality was truly exceptional, warm, genuine, and beyond anything I expected. The staff made me feel completely welcome from the moment I walked in, and every detail of the service was thoughtful and sincere.

The food was absolutely phenomenal and has always made me crave for more. To top it off, they surprised me by covering the cost of my meal for my birthday, which was an incredibly generous gesture I’ll never forget.

It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food with such heartfelt kindness. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.
A Hidden Gem of Persian Hospitality in NYC

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Miriaj, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me straight to Tehran—elegant décor, soft Persian music, and a welcoming atmosphere that felt like home.

The food was exceptional. Every dish—from the perfectly grilled koobideh to the fragrant saffron rice—was bursting with authentic flavor. The tahdig was crispy perfection, and the ghormeh sabzi had that deep, soulful taste only a true Persian kitchen can deliver. Portions were generous, and presentation was beautiful.

What truly sets Mriaj apart is the hospitality. The staff were gracious, attentive, and genuinely passionate about sharing Persian culture through food. They took time to explain the dishes and even offered tea on the house, served in traditional glass cups with delicate sweets.

Whether you’re Persian or simply curious about Iranian cuisine, Mriaj is a must-visit. It’s more than a restaurant—it’s a cultural experience wrapped in warmth and flavor. Highly recommended!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Flavourful Surprise at Miraj Healthy Grill

I stopped by Miraj Healthy Grill on a whim after spotting their lunch special—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I dipped their warm, fluffy bread into the creamy hummus, I knew I was in for something special. The hummus was velvety smooth with just the right touch of garlic and lemon, and the bread had that perfect fresh-baked chew.

Then came the grilled chicken over white rice. Simple? Yes. But the flavor? Anything but. The chicken was tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned—each bite had a smoky char that made my taste buds light up. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, soaking up the juices like a sponge. It was one of those meals where the first bite makes you pause and say, “Wow.”

What really sealed the experience was the service. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming—genuine hospitality that made the quick stop feel like a warm visit. No rush, no fuss, just good food and good vibes.

The vibe inside is no-frills and relaxed, with traditional music playing softly in the background. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick bite and still feel like you’ve treated yourself to something special. Prices were more than fair for the quality.

If you’re in Midtown and craving Mediterranean or Persian flavors, Miraj is a hidden gem worth discovering. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
