AJA sushi

Happened upon this corner spot with low expectations when in the area. Very happily surprised! Super chill down to earth. Delicious curry soup and beef bowl. Mostly delivery orders so it was easy to sit for a while. No plugs but easy to work with laptop.

This is the best sushi place in LIC. when you walk in the workers and chefs are welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The miso soup tastes fresh and coconut curry was great! The salmon lovers sushi and sashimi was delicious ad so were the specialty rolls! will eat again!!

Crab Rangoon is to die for. The Wasabi Tobiko Roll was fresh, the Yummy Yummy Roll was good but wish it had more crab in it. Overall one of the best sushi places I have had in my life.

We ordered to-go and everything was fantastic and delicious!<br>Sea weed salad was a large portion and savory. Dumpling were chewy and crispy.<br>The roll was amazing and so fresh! Miso was just perfect.

Dinner here was scrumptious. We never had fresher or tastier sashimi, not to mention great miso soup, salad and tea.. The staff is delightful and very attentive. Thank you for the wonderful experience & the sweet Valentine's Day rose!

This place is a hidden gem. So delicious! The staff was so kind and genuinely wanted me to enjoy my food. The sushi is super fresh, generous portion and delicious! Fairly priced for NYC/LIC in my opinion. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

The food at this place is amazing!!<br>We love sushi, but hadn’t had any since pre-pandemic, so today was the day and I’m so glad we decided on this place, it was delicious!! Had the sushi for 2, the lemongrass chicken dumplings, the shrimp dumplings, and the octopus. Definitely worth the $$$ and we are definitely going back.

Their bento boxes are no longer on their menu, but they still made it for us when we mentioned seeing google reviews about the boxes. I got the shrimp bento box and really liked it! I tried a few bites of my friend's eel bento box and liked that one as well. The shrimp tasted freshly fried, and the eel was warm, tasty, and tender. The box came with a variety of food, including miso soup, lettuce salad, spring rolls, dumplings, rice, seaweed salad, tofu, and egg, and everything tasted great. The portion size was just right, and the bento box cost $20, which I found very reasonable by New York standards.

Amazing service, unbeatable prices, and great food. Quite a nice selection. Would love to visit again, but alas, we visited as tourists!

This place is great, very inviting , kind , talkative and caring people working here. The lady waits outside sometimes to invite costumers and is always very attentive and pays a lot of attention to her costumers. The food here is great ( especially the soy sauce). They have reasonable prices and servings. When arrived I received food on the house as well :). I should also mention that the restaurant is well decorated under their culture ! Definitely consider coming here or ordering take out - you wouldn’t regret

The food was delicious. The staff was so kind and inviting. I have come here a couple times and I love it. It’s a new newish or good favorite. If you like dumplings and sushi come on over. It’ll become one of your new favorites too!
