I had the Beef Bulgogi Japchae. It was very good. The noodles stuck together in clumps, but I was able to shake them apart into bite sized portions easily. The Korean fried chicken wings were excellent. The fire soy garlic sauce has a nice medium spice that complements the flavor of the sauce. This was my first time trying Terra Korean Lager, and I was impressed. It has a light, crisp flavor that worked very well with my food choices. I would be here often if I lived closer.

Healthy, fresh, and very clean lunch option.
Everything tasted fresh and light without feeling bland, and the ingredients felt high quality. The vegetables were crisp, the wraps were well balanced, and the packaging was neat and thoughtful. It was the perfect kind of meal that leaves you feeling satisfied but not heavy afterward.
The galbi dumplings were also absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. I also loved that they offered a variety of sauces, which made everything even more enjoyable. Such a great spot for a healthy office lunch.

What an interesting concept! It’s like a covid restaurant. You have to order online, pick up and the kitchen is hidden. Not a dine-in spot. They share the location with Jersey Mike subs. I got the beef bulgogi and it was absolutely delicious (it was about $18 including taxes). The only issue is I couldn’t see the ingredients from the menu and there was one ingredient I didn’t like in my meal (but now I know for next time). Will definitely come back. Fresh, simple and easy to go lunches for the office days :)

The food tasted great!Got a free drink from the employee cause i had trouble ordering from
Toast without a US mobile no. and had to order from uber eat which cost a little extra. He noticed it and he came back with my order and to my surprise he gave me free drink because i paid a little extra for uber eats. He also explained the sauces to me patiently.
I really appreciate the small touches ! Thank you ! Will definitely order back again when i am in NY!

I LOVE this place!! Best lunch spot in the garment district by far—this has been my go-to lunch for office days. Everything’s delicious but I especially love the spicy pork and bulgogi ssams (you can do half and half which is amazing). My coworkers also really love the tofu ssam. They’re refreshing, healthy, and super filling. All the sauces are equally delicious too! Plus there are Korean pear and grape juices that are so full of flavor. It is a ghost kitchen, so there’s not much seating to eat inside, but I was always taking my order back to my office so it didn’t matter to me.

I cannot recommend this place enough—I’ve been turning all my coworkers onto this hidden gem! Switching jobs soon so I won’t be in the neighborhood, and going to miss this place a bunch! Will definitely be back anytime I’m back in the area. Thank you Gary for everything!!

Glad I found this place. Was looking to take something back to my room for dinner and this place was perfect. Quick, cheap, and delicious. Super friendly and helpful staff. You're supposed to order online, but they helped me place the order and the food was ready in less than 10 minutes. I got the dumplings, spicy pork wrap, and some Korean pear soda that was nice and refreshing. The food was fresh and very, very good.

Tried the Jeyuk Ssam and pork dumplings and they were delicious! This place is near my office so I wanted to try them, and I will definitely come again!

There are some small two-person tables and chair for dining in, but it’s primarily a take out spot. There’s also nowhere to order in person, you can only order online.

The owner (didn’t catch his name) was really nice and friendly! He asked if we had any feedback, so here it is :)

The jeyuk was very flavorful and delicious, but I thought the roll would be a little easier to eat if the pork was cut into smaller pieces! Sometimes my bite would end up pulling out a big chunk of pork because pork is nice and thick but could be hard to bite through.

When ordering we got a side of the signature sauce (very delicious! A great blend of sweet, acidic, and slightly funky/spicy). We didn’t realize an order came with sesame sauce and signature sauce already, so we ended up having three sauces. The order menu does say “Extra Sauce” but I think it would be helpful to mention which sauces are included in the description.

This last one is just personal preference but I would love the option to add some raw garlic to the roll! I think it would be a tasty addition

The price might seem a bit high at first, but once you get your food, you realize it's totally worth it. Everything looks clean and fresh, and when you take a bite, you can really taste the care in the ingredients. Mine was filled with high-quality bulgogi and wrapped with egg like a soft layer of chicken—it felt healthy and satisfying at the same time.

If you care about what goes into your body but still want something delicious, this place is the right choice. The owner was also incredibly kind. The food was clean, flavorful, and felt made with love. I highly recommend this spot for anyone on a healthy, high-protein low-carb diet.

ive ordered from this place via delivery and picked up once(they work out of a ghost kitchen, so it is not a sit down style restaurant. its built out for take out and delivery orders). i have only ordered and tried the chicken ssam and spicy chicken rice bowl. both items are so so fresh and so incredibly satiating! love the crunchy, julienned slaw that is inside the rice paper wrap. great healthy, high protein, fresh option!

So yummy! The service was very quick and food packaged nicely :) I got the chicken burrito and omg 😳 chicken is seasoned very well and the veggies are super fresh. It comes with two different sauces: one creamy sweet one and one spicy. The creamy one was definitely my fav but they both go really well when paired together. I also got the pork dumplings and they were also great. Didn’t come with any sauce so you may have to ask for it! Overall really great quality for the price. Will be coming back when I’m working in the area.

I had an amazing experience at this takeout restaurant in New York. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, especially regarding my child's egg allergy. For the first time ever, someone thoughtfully asked if even cooking utensils or hands that had touched eggs would be an issue. I was truly touched by their level of care.

The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and excellent quality—all at a very reasonable price. My child ate without any issues and truly enjoyed the meal. In fact, my child even wants to write a review. 😊

Thank you for giving us such a wonderful memory during our trip to New York. Wishing your restaurant great success! 👍

The most unique/best twist on the traditional Korean SSam! I was looking for a spot to grab quick lunch during my trip to NYC, and my friend recommended the Ssam in Midtown. I got to try 3 different options: bulgogi, spicy pork, and Shrimp (quick spoiler - all very DELICIOUS). All the ingredients are really fresh and clean without losing flavor. My personal favorite is the Spicy Pork one, which has a little kick to it. The packaging is so thoughtful as it is placed in a nice paper box, easy to carry it around when you are on the go. I will be visiting again when I am in New York!

I believe it is also available on Mealpal for any New Yorkers looking for a healthy quick lunch spot.

Food was deliciously fresh and with very good portions! I ordered the pork one and it comes with 2 sauces. Loved the freshness of the veggies and the hint of mint. The manager came out and hand delivered the order to me, which was appreciated. It's a bit hidden and the seating is not optimal (it's an industrial kitchen not really a restaurant) but the takeout has a great presentation. Would definitely order again.

The rice wrap here is really good. The wrap is perfectly cooked, and the proteins, both the bulgogi and the chicken, are excellent. However, I found the buffalo sauce on the chicken to be a bit one-dimensional; it tasted like regular hot sauce, and I would have appreciated some Korean flavors to add complexity. Overall, the execution of the ingredients was exceptional.

The wraps have a slightly high vegetable-to-meat ratio. While everything was delicious, I would have preferred fewer crunchy vegetables and perhaps something soft to diversify the texture. A combination of crunchy, meaty, and soft elements would have been ideal. The peanut sauce was excellent.

The service was really friendly, even though the place operates more like a pickup counter with some tables and lacks ambiance. It's more like a ghost kitchen setup. That being said, I thought it was really good. The vegetable-to-protein ratio is probably traditional; it's just not my personal preference.

The food is really good. This is definitely something that's more unique in the NYC food scene, and is absolutely worth a try. The food is fresh, very well put together, and tastes great. A blend of Korean and Vietnamese flavors, I don't think I've had anything quite like it. The sauces are really good as well, especially the pineapple and garlic sauce (at least I think that's what it is) was super unique and just as delicious. The owner is also a super nice guy, and you can tell he cares about the food! All in all very happy with it, and would absolutely recommend it.

Couple notes, one is that this is a delivery and take out spot only.

Also worth noting that one order is a box with two wraps. I didn't realize that and bought two orders thinking it would be two wraps total. I ate them all in one sitting anyway, it's so good.
