Came here with my wife , who’s pregnant , and Justin the bartender grabbed us the only 2 seats at the end of the bar! Truly professional. We had a wonderful time eating and listening to the live jazz . Can’t wait to come back

Like being in a movie. Dark, cozy with cool decor. Music was spot on. Service superb and drinks on spot. We took a celebration drink before my wife's 50th birthday here and loved avery sip of it. Friendly and helpful staff. Really recomend
I make it a poi t ti come here every few months because the ambience and drinks are so exceptionally done that I can reliably count on having a great night here. It never disappoints. Try their jazz nights too - always a pleasure.
My wife and I had a great time at The Campbell for Sunday Jazz. I asked the singer, Regina Martin, for a song dedication, and she was fantastic. The band sounded great, and the music was such a fun mix of songs we knew and loved. The atmosphere was beautiful, the drinks were excellent, and it turned into a much-needed fun night out.

We had an espresso martini and an Old Fashioned — and I always love when an Old Fashioned comes with one of those giant ice cubes that melts slowly. We were only planning to stay for one drink, but ended up staying the whole night. We’d definitely come back.
Wow this spot is incredible. I stopped by last night for a few drinks after dinner and had the best time. There was a live jazz band, great people watching, and the location is simply incredible. We had a little bit of a tough time finding the enternece cause it is almost speak easy style, but thank goodness we didn’t give up because it was a perfect way to cap off the night. I will probably be a regular here 🤘 This is New York at its finest.
The space is incredibly photogenic, with a dark, moody aesthetic that feels very Art Deco and timeless. It’s elegant without feeling stiff. After sharing photos on social media, several friends pointed out that this is the famous bar featured in Gossip Girl, which made the experience even more fun

We ordered a spinach dip, which was delicious, and a couple of cocktails that were very well crafted. The service was excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, as it’s very hard to get a spot as a walk-in.

Overall, it’s a beautiful place with a strong New York character, perfect for drinks in a unique setting.
Established in 2017 the Campbell Bar is a tucked away drinking cove in Grand Central Station. The space is beautiful and warm. It has a vibe of elegance but the quite understated kind. Nothing over the top. The drinks are on the pricey side too but I'm not sure if the quality matches with some of the other spaces I've visited. I went through most of the experience unassisted

Here's what I had:

Gingle Cherry Gin, Rosemary, cherry lime and egg white. A reasonable cocktail that doesn't do anything super special but taste fine. There is a bit of salinity in the drink but that could be from the paper straw. 👏🏾👏🏾

Apples and Agave - It does what it says on the tin. The warm notes of the cinnamon play so well with the aged agave. This is a delicious drink. Not sure how they are sweetening this drink be it the cider or a syrup but if it was beefed up with a little more texture this would be unstoppable. Reposado, apple cider, Cointreau, lime and cinnamon. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Nordic Air - Sir Davis(Beyonce Rye), Swedish punsch, aperol and lemon. This reminds me of an Aperol drink that i can't put my finger on but its just the right amount of bitter to sweet with a touch of sour. 👏🏾👏🏾
Stopped by The Campbell on our last night in New York. Drinks were great and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely recommend for a place to have a casual drink and conversation with friends.
I love this bar!

Its so cosy and feels exclusive.

I love that they have renovated the original features and made something beautiful in a train station full of new designs and buildings.

This is a little pricy but what a treat and completely in my opinion worth a visit
Mini tuna tacos were spicy but good. Smores parfait was very good. Service at bar was quick and attentive but service failed at the table after we were sat. Bartop tables were very close together and in a 15 min period our server visited our neighbors 2 feet away 5 times without once turning around to check on us, after drinks were dry plus our need to get water then later it took 10 mins just to get attention to pay- just two examples. But also after moving from bar to table and informing waitress bar had my credit card she immediately leaves and returns 5 - 10 mins later with just dropping card in front of me and gone so fast I didn't see her (I was facing wall). Space is cool and worth visiting but one particular waitress needs some coaching.
One of the best bars I've ever been to. Great atmosphere. It's like stepping back in time. Scott the bartender is super friendly and makes amazing drinks. He shared a lot of the history of the Campbell and of NYC. Must visit for anyone who likes good drinks and a very unique place to have them.
I came here with 2 friends and had such a lovely time, the atmosphere was very classy, relaxed and cozy. It is the perfect place to stop by especially around christmas time! Our server Macie was so sweet and attentive, definitely stop by and ask for her!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem Near Grand Central!

I stumbled upon this bar completely by accident, and wow — what a hidden gem! It’s tucked away just down the street from Grand Central Station and honestly a little tricky to find, but that only adds to the charm. Once inside, I was greeted by incredible live jazz that set the perfect mood for the night.

Our bartender, Justin, was a total standout. Watching him multitask was like watching an artist at work — effortlessly mixing great drinks while keeping the whole bar energized and having fun. He struck that perfect balance of being attentive, personable, and genuinely entertaining.

The best part? We ended up discovering that Justin’s college roommate went to the same high school as my nephew. Small world moments like that just make a place feel even more special.

If you’re in the area and looking for a cozy spot with great vibes, talented bartenders, and amazing music, this place is absolutely worth seeking out!
A beautiful restored bar that has decent drinks and food and great service. We got the Angel’s & Demons and Ginger’s Snap which I thought were decent, the spinach artichoke was fantastic, and the salad was just ok. Don’t think any of the things we tried except for the spinach artichoke are must tries, but I would definitely come in again and try something else for the atmosphere alone!
Response from the owner
We LOVE our spinach & artichoke dip! Looking forward to welcoming you back in soon.
Hidden Bar Champion! Hidden in the Grand Central station you find this amazing & stunning bar. It was not crowded when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. Few people stopped by to have a look. Drinks were delicious and pricing was good.
The bar is just amazing from a design point of view.
