This place is something else. I came with my dad, husband, and sister, and we had an absolute blast from start to finish.<br><br>My dad is Egyptian, so food like this carries real meaning for our family, and Sabrys delivered in every way. The moment we walked in, we were met with the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel like a guest of honor. They treat everyone that way, which makes it even more special.<br><br>The meal began with fresh housemade bread! The best ! Then we got incredible hummus, baba ganoush, and salad, and then came the fish. Honestly, the best fish I’ve ever had, and we’ve dined at wonderful restaurants all over the country. We ordered the mussels, grilled platter with calamari, shrimp, and salmon, plus a fried combo that was light and perfectly done. Not greasy, just real home cooking, like your Egyptian grandmother made it. The branzino was outstanding, and the rice brought me straight back to childhood.<br><br>Every dish tasted like it was made with genuine love and care, because it was. If you want to eat somewhere that feeds your soul as much as your stomach, come here. Come every week to truly enjoy life!

The grilled octopus was tender with just the right amount of char, the lobster was sweet and succulent, and the seafood platter was loaded with scallops, shrimp, and calamari that tasted like they came straight off the boat. Every dish was seasoned beautifully without overpowering the natural flavors of the seafood.<br><br>What really surprised me was the value. For roughly $80 total, this felt like a meal that could easily cost significantly more elsewhere. Excellent food and service. The combo platter tastes great and the bread is phenomenal. The seafood is made fresh and seasoned well. Definitely going to be my go to spot.

This restaurant was really amazing. Did not have a large crowd during lunchtime, but I made reservations just in case. The waiter was fantastic with suggesting what to order. We did the meal for two and there was enough on there for four people. It came with two bowls of rice and a garden salad. I also had to get the grilled octopus because what else would you eat when you’re in Astoria. The place was very clean, the service was very fast. The fresh juices were really delightful.

Definitely the best seafood I’ve had in Astoria, Queens! By far the best atmosphere and customer service. It feels like a trip to Egypt.<br>I had an Egyptian friend with me and he testifies it tastes just like back home.<br>We had butter grilled shrimp, branzino singari, flounder, babaganouch, hummus and the seafood soup. ✨🤭

We ordered the Seafood combo for two and we asked for it to be a bit spicy. The food was absolutely delicious! The seafood was fresh and the flavors were amazing. We were four people and this combo was filling because it also comes with salad and pita bread. The restaurant gave us complimentary Hibiscus Tea after our meal which was chilled and refreshing.<br>Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back!

Went to Sabry’s Seafood last Saturday and for fresh seafood, this place was awesome. The service was friendly and welcoming, and they have a great selection of fresh fish and seafood that you can have prepared a number of different ways.<br><br>We started with two orders of calamari, one fried and one grilled. The fried was good, but surprisingly the grilled calamari was the home run of the night. I’m not usually a big fan of grilled calamari, but this was perfectly cooked and topped spices that took it to another level. For our main, we had the branzino, which was also exceptional—super fresh and seasoned with a wonderful Egyptian spice blend. A great spot for seafood and one I’d happily return to.

If I could, I’d give Sabry’s Seafood a 10 out of 5. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place itself is just great—clean, comfortable, and inviting. The food was fresh and top quality, from start to finish.<br><br>We had the Grilled Salmon and Grilled Bronzeiny as our main courses, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The real surprise, though, was the shrimp soup—shockingly amazing and easily one of the best we’ve had.<br><br>For sides, the rice was good, but the bread stole the show. It was so soft and tasty that we honestly wanted to ask for the recipe. To top it all off, we had the fresh lemonade, which was so good I ended up drinking four.<br><br>Amazing food, great service, and an all-around fantastic experience. Highly recommend Sabry’s Seafood, we’ll definitely be back!

EXCEPTIONAL! No other word to describe this place. The staff is warm, the food is fresh and mouthwatering, there’s a variety of options. I cannot express how much I love Sabry’s! I went for the first time last week and cannot wait to come back!

Ate here last night because I was craving seafood. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere reminded me of the seafood restaurants in Egypt that I miss so dearly. Food was delicious, I ordered the lobster tail entree and it came with two lobster tails. The bread was fresh and a delight to eat with the baba ghanoush. Their baba ghanoush had a nice spice to it which was a pleasant surprise.

I celebrated my birthday December 12, 2025 at Sabry's, and my friend and I shared this seafood dish for two which was amazing. Thank you Yasser and Chef Sabry for an amazing dinner. Your staff and service was impeccable. This Egyptian restaurant did not disappoint.

My friend who is neighbor took me in September. All dishes taste spicy and so good. I feel good for health.<br>When I go to N.Y. I will visit again.

The grilled salmon was exquisite. Crispy and well seasoned. Was a lot of food so you get a bang for your buck. Everything was also extremely fresh and well prepared. Lemonade is a balance of sweet and tart. He did forget to mention there was a difference between entree size and app size so just be specific.

Had an amazing experience there. Was craving seafood so decided to go there with a mate. We tried their combo for two and it was great. More food than we imagined! Service was great.

It’s basically a fish market that was transformed into a restaurant. This isn’t a place for looks or ambience. The focus is on the quality of food. If you want excellent seafood then this is the place to try! From the succulent whole grilled lobsters, to the perfectly cooked octopus, it’ll make you enjoy seafood like you never have before. For the drinks with meal people, no liquor is served here. I would recommend this restaurant as an excellent seafood place
