Me and my coworker chose this restaurant for Brunch. The service and food were great. The menu was decent with options. We sat outside since it was a sunny day however the restaurant does have plenty of seating inside also.

Went with a group of friends for a get-together dinner the other night. We made reservations so there wasn’t any complications of getting a table when arriving. Ended up being the right move considering how packed it was. The hostess greeted and seated us right away. Our waitress was very helpful with questions our party had about the menu as it was our first time eating here! We enjoyed the food, especially the appetizers. I’d recommend the wings for sure. Great place to go out as a group! Will definitely come again interested to try their brunch next time.

My favorite restaurant in Astoria to grab dinner and drinks with friends. The food and drinks are consistently great, and you can tell they really care about quality because everything always comes out fresh and full of flavor. The cocktail menu is just as impressive, with well-made drinks that pair perfectly with the meal. The music creates a fun vibe without being overwhelming, so it feels lively while still being a place where you can actually enjoy conversation. One of the things that really stands out every time is the service— all of the waiters are super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. The atmosphere as a whole feels warm, energetic, and inviting, making it just as perfect for a casual dinner as it is for weekend brunch. All around, it is a great spot that I would definitely recommend as a go-to place for a night out in Astoria.

Great place for brunch and meet up with friends. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and stays packed. We were so lucky as we did not have a reservation but they seated us (party of 5) right away. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. The food was good. Many in our party had the chicken and waffles. I had the Halloumi Chicken with truffle fries. My aunt said her waffles were cold which is why I gave food a 4 star. Our server, Isa, was great. We also had the bottomless sangria which was really good. I would definitely return when visiting again.

Tried the loaded chicken rice bowl and chicken teriyaki bowl with the Truffle pizza. It was phenomenal and also the waitress with her service. Keep up the great work and see you soon

Visited Grand Coffee & Restaurant with friends and had a really nice experience. The place has a great vibe and is perfect for hanging out.

The pancakes were amazing — fluffy, fresh, and easily the best thing on the menu. While the coffee wasn’t the highlight for us, the overall experience was still very good. Irene provided excellent service, was welcoming and attentive, and truly made the visit enjoyable.

Because of the atmosphere, food, and great service, this is definitely a place we’d come back to.

Visited the Grand for brunch with a friend, after a brief stop at work on Saturday. I did not know what to expect, but I was happily surprised by the impeccable service and the mellow atmosphere. The food was well prepared but was typical of what you would find at a mid level brunch. All in all I would highly recommend this spot for a brunch .

Cute space, nicely decorated, definitely somewhere to get some really nice pictures alone or with friends. Customer service was good, a little slow but it's to be expected since it was so full. The appetizers were GREATT, drinks were super strong, the bottomless option for brunch is a really good addition. I would stay away from the steak and eggs. I asked for medium well and it was cooked way over well done. The baked eggs was more tomatoes than eggs. Overall, I'd say give it a try for the apps and drinks, just not sure I would recommend the entres, especially not for the price tag they come with.

Suggested this place to a group of eight friends for coffee and dessert after we had dinner in the neighborhood. It was a Friday night and there was a DJ blasting club music. A bit loud to have a group conversation without screaming across the table and it was too cold to sit in the outside area. The waitress gave us menus but did not inform us that the coffee bar had run out of coffee until she came back to our table when we were ready to give our orders. We were utterly shocked that a coffee bar did not have any coffee or latte. We were too tired to go to another cafe. Some of us asked for hot chocolate and we were told that the guy who handles the coffee bar had already left for the night. So they could not serve us hot chocolate 🤷‍♂️ My order of calamari and cheesecake was okay. The ambiance was the main reason I suggested the place but it was embarrassing when we could not order what we went there for; coffee and latte.

The place has nice decor as it caught our eye from the outside. We got the Salmon wrap which comes with a salad and the Halloumi Chicken sandwich which comes with fries. Very simple but delicious dishes.

I had such a wonderful breakfast experience at The Grand! From the moment we sat down, our server Ruby made us feel welcomed… She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

The food was pretty amazing :) The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were seasoned just right. The Eggs Benedict was also good. The hollandaise sauce was pretty flavorful, paired well with the spinach and ham. We also enjoyed fresh mimosas that made the perfect touch to our meal.

On top of that, the atmosphere is gorgeous; charming decor, lively yet relaxed vibe, and a setting that makes dining here feel special.

If you’re looking for a place in Astoria with delicious food, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere, I can’t recommend The Grand enough. A big thank you to Ruby for making our morning so enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back! :)

We had a great time at The Grand in Astoria! We tried the pasta, wings, and mashed potatoes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pasta was rich and flavorful, the wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly seasoned. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a while.

The staff was very friendly and attentive which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the wait time. It took much longer than expected for the food to come out after we ordered. That was a bit frustrating but once the food arrived it was worth the wait.

If you’re not in a rush and want a solid meal with great service, I’d definitely recommend The Grand. We’ll be back for sure!
