Martha's Country Bakery is Austin streets desert spot offering a wide selection of sweet treats. (individual slices or a whole cake for celebrations) There have been additional dining options which have opened in the last few months such as Sweet Green, Panda etc, but Martha's compliments the Austin street eateries with cakes of all types (including several cheesecakes), pies, pudding, muffins and cupcakes for dining or takeaway. Martha's offers a cafe experience with your choice of coffee with a desert option, but depending on the time of day there maybe a wait time to get a table. It's usually a necessary stop after dining on Austin street to end the evening.

Incredibly delicious and perfect for when you're passing by and want something that feels fresh. Got the opportunity to try like 6 different desserts and they all were delicious. Their strawberry shortcake and fruits cake were my favorites. Loved that they tasted fresh and they were perfect in sugar amount. Sometimes there's a big line but it moves quickly. I would definitely keep going back.

Came in for take out. Staff works efficient. Greeted, asked if I was here for pickup of takeout. Directed to the line. Waiting and one of the many staff members assisted me with my order. I had the pleasure of having Selena assist me with my purchase of an Apple crumble pie. Selena was almost as sweet as the pie was! Thank you!! And don’t forget to tip these workers they work extremely hard in a fast paced setting to get everyone’s orders packed and served up! Thanks again.

I love this place so much, my favorite is the tiramisu and napoleon. Solid option for a coffee and slice of cake.

Great bakery items especially cakes. They are extremely busy over the weekends. Street parking can be challenging. They also have a coffee ☕️ corner and sitting area.

I ordered a red velvet cupcake, while my sister ordered a fruit tart. Overall the red velvet cupcake was moist, it was delicious but a little bit sweet for my liking. I came here on a weekday morning and there were tables available

Amazing selection of sweets and pastries, there’s too much to choose from. The banana pudding is the highlight in my opinion, simply amazing.

So happy to discover this bakery! I stood in line for 30 minutes but it was totally worth the wait. The variety of cheesecakes, pies and cakes is overwhelming. Absolutely loved their signature Berry Napoleon (not too heavy, not too sweet), Black Forest cake and Black Forest Cheesecake.

I had such a wonderful experience at Martha’s Bakery! The waiter who helped me had the brightest smile and made me feel so welcome. She recommended the Oreo cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and one of the best I’ve ever had. She even checked in to make sure I was okay, which made the visit feel so warm and personal. The staff here are all so kind, and the overall atmosphere is just as sweet as their desserts. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Love Martha’s!!.. I’ve been coming here for years. My top favorite is their strawberry cheesecake and during the fall/winter season their pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake. I used to buy a whole cheesecake for myself during pandemic and eat it in 2 days by myself 🥲

I have tried Martha’s before thru other people who brought cakes from there (always delicious) but this time I got to check it out in person. Stopped there for dessert after lunch. Great service, well organized place….you can get food to go or see the hostess to be seated. The 4 people in our group each got a dessert and we all enjoyed them! I think the mini passion fruit mousse cake that I tried is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted…not overpoweringly sweet but sweet enough, a little tart, light and small enough….it was exceptional! Their berry napoleon was also delicious. So many things to try, can’t wait to return next time I am in the area! Very reasonable prices considering today’s economy!!
