Dominican Mother’s Day was one for the books at mama sushi. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic and the vibe was phenomenal. It made my Mother’s Day. Humberto came over and gave my mother champagne and acknowledged her and even served my husband and brother with tequila. If you want a good time and endless memories, come here.

I had an amazing experience at Mamasushi - Bronx thanks to our host America. From the moment we walked in, she was welcoming, professional, and made us feel comfortable right away. Her attitude and customer service really stood out and made the whole dining experience even better. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and America made sure everything went smoothly. Definitely one of the reasons I’ll be coming back again. Highly recommend asking for her when you visit!

I had such a great experience at brunch at Mama Sushi! The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly, but what really made our visit stand out was our waitress, Rosalba. She was absolutely amazing—super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time.<br><br>Her energy was so warm and welcoming, and she really went above and beyond to make our brunch special. It’s not every day you get service like that!<br><br>Definitely coming back and highly recommend asking for Rosalba if you go!

I’ll be honest—I almost didn’t come here because of some of the reviews I saw. Big mistake that would’ve been.<br><br>From the moment I walked into Mama Sushi, the energy was completely different than what people online made it seem. Attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out smoothly.The food? Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you’re coming to a spot like this—every dish hit.<br><br>But what really stood out is the atmosphere. If you come in with good energy, you’re going to get that same energy right back. This isn’t a place for negativity—it’s a place to enjoy, relax, and have a great time.<br><br>Don’t let a few bad reviews stop you from trying it yourself. Come with an open mind and good vibes—you’ll leave understanding why people keep coming back.<br><br>Definitely coming again.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon before heading to a concert. We made reservations so we didn't have to wait. The food was good and the service was very good and friendly. When we arrived around 4:30 the place was busy and ppl were doing Hookah and drinking and it was a nice vibe. However, there was already someone drunk and making a scene and thankfully they ended up leaving the restaurant. But, this lead me to think, if this is what happens at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon, what is going on on Friday and Saturday evenings? 😕

Love this place! Came a few years ago and a lot in between and each time was better and better. A definite HIT!

Melissa is amazing she treated are group amazing. She didn’t help us or rush us because we were so indecisive on what to order what to order but she stayed patient with us and recommended the most amazing dishes I’m so glad. I’m definitely going back and I want Melissa every time!!

Melissa was super nice, I’ve been there multiple times and she was the best server ever I’m really grateful she was so nice they should have more people like her.

I had a really good experience at Mama Sushi. The food was genuinely tasty across the board. The salmon was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, the skirt steak was just as good, and the coconut mojito stood out as a highlight. The only miss was the lomo saltado, which unfortunately came out without meat.<br><br>Service was on the slower side, but it was a laid back Friday evening and the staff remained respectful and attentive throughout, which made it easy to overlook the wait.<br><br>Overall, a solid spot with great flavors and a relaxed vibe. I’d definitely come back.

Love this place! I come here with my bestie for drinks all the time. The music and the vibes is always the best. The bartenders always take care of us. The service is great!

My experience here has been awesome. I have been coming here for a very long time. I love the atmosphere. Great vibes. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Claudia is awesome. She’s very friendly and very pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend this place. It’s a very pleasant atmosphere.

I recently visited Mamsushi and overall it was a really good experience.<br><br>We ordered three different signature sushi rolls and they were honestly 10/10. Everything tasted fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and each roll had great flavor. You can definitely tell they focus on quality.<br><br>For appetizers, we had the fried octopus. It was really good — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside — and the sauce that came with it complemented it perfectly.<br><br>For dessert, we ordered the coconut flan, but when it arrived at the table we realized it wasn’t exactly what we were expecting. That was really the only small issue we had.<br><br>I also ordered a lychee martini and didn’t love it. I’ve had the same drink at another Mamsushi location and it was much better there, so maybe it was just an off night.<br><br>In total, we spent around $200 for two people.<br><br>Overall, it’s a good place to go, hang out, enjoy great sushi, and spend time with friends. I would definitely go back.

Went here after previous experience at Mamajuanas a few weeks ago. Was not disappointed at all. 🤩💯<br><br>Seated quickly even though we were earlier than our reservation. Staff were attentive and accommodating, seemlessly making space for our wheelchairs. 👍♿<br><br>Appealing restaurant ambiance with great art on the walls. The food...omg the food. So many things to choose and something for everyone. 🖼️😋<br><br>Had the grilled octopus and it was divine....charred in the right places and tender. Came with brussel sprouts, broccolini, and carrots....just Yummmm! 🐙🥦🥕<br><br>Had two rolls, with one having octopus in it (Yes, I love octopus). There were two different kinds of plantains and drinks. My choice lemonade sangria and a Pina Colada that came in a pineapple. It was delicious. 🍣🍹🍍<br><br>Yes, there was dessert. We got the platter which had strawberry shortcake, flan, tres leches and a hot chocolatey cake. I didn't know what to expect when me, my sister and her daughter strolled in for an early dinner on Sunday. The place was packed, which is usually a good sign, but the menu was very eclectic, which worried me, since the offerings were a bit too diverse.<br>The service was good, the atmosphere lively and friendly. I got two traditional rolls, since I'm a sushi purist. I wasn't impressed. Maybe the specialty rolls were better, but the idea eating a barbecue chicken sushi roll doesn't appeal to me. My sister got the Korean Chicken and Yuca fries, which she said was good (the yuca fries were really delicious) my niece got a delicious looking order of Fish and Chips with Yuca Fries. She didn't eat it. She said it was all batter and no fish. The girls liked their drinks (I wasn't drinking) and my mocktail was ok.<br>The folks at the table next to us ordered a delicious looking fried rice with an egg on top and tostones. Next time I visit, I won't get the sushi.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for years! It was a pleasure! We were greeted and seated swiftly, without a reservation! Place was very busy but the host and waitress were very attentive,answered our questions and checked in often. The food looked great and tasted even better! The drinks were also delicious. Will definely return. You should check it out!
