⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br><br>Lalyn is one of the most unique Thai dining experiences I’ve had in New York City. The restaurant beautifully combines authentic Thai flavors with a modern fine-dining presentation, creating a meal that feels both elevated and memorable.<br><br>The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, with warm lighting, minimalist decor, and a sophisticated ambiance that makes it perfect for date nights, celebrations, or a special evening out.<br><br>Some of my favorite dishes were the Scallop Crudo with Tom Kha Sorbet, which was incredibly fresh and creative, the Roasted Duck Pineapple Curry with perfectly cooked duck and rich, flavorful curry, and the Lamb Shank Massaman, which was tender, aromatic, and packed with depth. The Blossom Sago Bites and the adorable Rabbit Coconut Sorbet dessert were not only beautiful but also delicious.<br><br>The mocktails were equally impressive, featuring unique Southeast Asian flavors that paired wonderfully with the food.<br><br>From the presentation to the service and overall dining experience, every detail felt thoughtfully executed. Lalyn offers a refreshing and modern take on Thai cuisine while still honoring traditional flavors. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an upscale Thai restaurant in NYC. ✨🍽️🇹🇭

Food and ambience were amazing at this restaurant. I find it hard to come across food places that are truly unique in flavor and presentation and Lalyn checked all my boxes! Service was also amazing as food came out quick and tasted fresh. The portions were also perfect. Tyler was our waiter today for our party of 9 and he tended to us with incredible care. He made sure our food experience was satisfactory and clean the entire time. I could truly tell how much he cared for us and the honor he brought to his position. 100% recommendation if you want to explore new flavors and vibes!

Had such a great dinner at Lalyn Thai in NYC! The food was absolutely delicious — everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. The cocktails were also surprisingly good and paired perfectly with the meal.<br>Highly recommend trying the purple yam dessert, it was unique, not overly sweet, and definitely one of the highlights of the night. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the entire experience, and the restaurant itself has a beautiful interior with a cozy but stylish atmosphere.

Finally found a Thai spot in Ktown that’s both beautiful and delicious<br><br>Loved the modern vibe here plus the welcome hibiscus tea and chamomile hand towel were such a nice touch.<br><br>Favorites:<br>Char-grilled strip loin — tender and flavorful<br>Roasted duck pineapple curry — rich coconut curry with tender duck<br>Lalyn Pad Thai — wrapped in egg with huge shrimp skewers, so good<br><br>Perfect for dinner with friends, coworkers, or a cute date night. I had a great experience at this place. The food was fantastic. The waitress name Mint she was sooooo nice and friendly. She recommended and helped me a lot. I ordered the Basil steak fried rice, the fried rice was sooooo good and the steak cooked perfectly. I also got the roselle juice for welcome drinks, I haven’t had it for long time I was so grateful and made me felt like home. Highly recommend!

Our waiter, Tylor, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed throughout the entire meal. His recommendations and warm attitude really elevated the whole experience.<br><br>As for the food, everything we ordered was fantastic. The crab croquettes were perfectly crisp on the outside and full of flavor inside. The Lalyn pad thai was delicious and well-balanced, and the crab meat fried rice was rich and satisfying with generous crab throughout. We also had the char-grilled sirloin, which was cooked beautifully and complemented the meal perfectly.<br><br>Overall, it was an amazing dining experience—from the ambience and service to the quality of the food. We had a wonderful experience at Lalyn!<br>The food truly delivers authentic Thai flavors.<br><br>The spice level was a bit strong, but that’s exactly how Thai food should be bold and full of character and we were able to enjoy it.<br><br>The Rawang Curry, a Southern Thai specialty, was especially impressive and a pleasant surprise. Kudos to the chef!<br><br>The atmosphere is beautiful perfect for celebrations or a cozy meal with friends and family.<br><br>A special thank you to Kwan for the warm welcome and for seating us right away without any wait (thank goodness, because we were very hungry!).<br><br>The service was fantastic. Nat took great care of us friendly, attentive, and very efficient.

We're recently visited lalyn and had a really nice experience. The dishes were flavorful, portions were just right, and everything tasted fresh. The restaurant feels cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great spot for Thai food in midtown. I’d definitely come back and try more dishes! I have finally tried Lalyn with my besties in Midtown and it definitely lives up to the hype. The space feels upscale and intimate — perfect for a date night.<br>We had the Pad See Ew with seafood, chicken satay, basil steak fried rice (medium rare), salmon larb tartare, and purple yam dessert. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor, especially the perfectly cooked steak and fresh seafood.<br>Great ambiance, solid service, and an elevated Thai dining experience. LALYN is one of those Midtown Thai spots that just gets everything right. The space is stylish yet comfortable, making it an easy choice for a night out. They’re seriously inventive and just as beautiful as they are delicious. Each one looks like a work of art but actually delivers on flavor, not just presentation. Between the food, desserts, and smooth service, LALYN is a Midtown spot to be visited when you’re craving Thai!

Had an amazing time here with my family for Christmas Eve. The place was easily to find and commute is really flexible, there’s a subway nearby. Today we had two of their signature dishes, and it was absolutely delicious. To top it off, we had a little dessert which was like a rabbit cheesecake. And also their signature cocktail. Atmosphere is really beautiful feeling very cheeky and cozy. The staff were amazing. They took care of us really well and even gave us recommendations on foods and drinks. Everything was delicious.<br>Thank you Jakk for introducing use to new menus we’ve never had at a Thai place before. Definitely come back again.

I adore the spacious interior, especially with its enchanting arc and moonlike theme. It exudes an upscale yet relaxing vibe that immediately puts you at ease.<br><br>As soon as we step inside, we're greeted with warmth by the attentive and caring staff. After we're seated, our server, Blue, arrives with the drink and food menus. She's incredibly accommodating and assists us in making our selections, which is a huge plus! Based on her recommendations, both the food and drinks do not disappoint at all.<br><br>We kick off our meal with drinks—my fiancé opts for her go-to, the Thai Iced Tea, a sweet and delightful classic. I choose their signature mocktail, Napali, which is incredibly refreshing and pairs well with almost anything on the menu.<br><br>Next, we dive into some small plates and a salad to start off the meal. My fiancé is always on the lookout for the best Som Tum, and I must say, so far, Lalyn has delivered one of the finest versions in the city! The Crab Croquettes are another standout; they're packed with lump crab meat and are crispy with each bite. We also enjoy the tender and nicely grilled Squid Skewers.<br><br>For our main course, we decide on the Roasted Duck Pineapple Curry and Crab Meat Fried Rice. I'm thrilled that Lalyn doesn’t skimp on ingredients—they generously include fresh lump crab meat! The Crab Meat Fried Rice comes with a house special spicy seafood sauce that's definitely worth trying. It's Thai spicy, but trust me, once you dip it in the crab meat, you'll be hooked! The Roasted Duck Pineapple Curry is simply appetizing with its tangy and mildly sweet flavor. While the duck is a bit chewy, it pairs beautifully with the curry and grilled fruits. I highly recommend ordering an extra side of rice with this dish, as you’ll want to savor every bit.<br><br>To wrap up our meal, we decided to indulge and order the entire dessert menu: Bunny Cheesecake, Purple Yam Coconut, and Lemon Mousse. Each dessert is almost too beautiful to eat! I truly admire the craftsmanship at Lalyn in prepping and plating these artistic desserts. My personal favorite has to be the Bunny Cheesecake—it's not just cute, but delicious as well!<br><br>Overall, our experience at Lalyn has been lovely. The food and drinks are superb, and the level of care and attention to detail is impressive. Lalyn definitely deserves all the praise it's been receiving, and I'm certain we'll be returning for another delightful dining experience!

LALYN is a new Thai restaurant that immediately stands out for both creativity and execution. We started with cocktails—Boon Chu, Kom Fake, Naki, Tawipob, and Darikra—each one thoughtfully composed, well-balanced, and distinct in character. You can tell real intention went into the drink program; these are cocktails designed to complement the food, not just fill a menu slot.<br><br>For starters, the Squid Skewers were perfectly cooked with great texture, and the Blossom Sago Bites were light, playful, and surprisingly memorable—an excellent way to open the meal.<br><br>The main dishes were just as impressive. Highlights included the Braised Pork Belly, Grilled Branzino, Fish Curry Gratin, Crab Croquettes, Char-Grilled Strip Loin, Basil Steak Fried Rice, Salmon Larb Tartare, Kua Gai, Chive Rice Cake, and Crab Meat Fried Rice. Every dish arrived well-seasoned, balanced, and clearly made with care.<br><br>Desserts closed the experience beautifully with Bunny Cheese Cake, Purple Yam Coconut, and Lemon Mousse—comforting, refined, and not overly sweet.<br><br>Special appreciation for our server Pete, who handled a large table and a long order with calm confidence, great timing, and genuine hospitality. Service like this makes you want to come back.<br><br>Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all aligned here. LALYN feels intentional, polished, and worth revisiting.
