Khaosan

Not sure if words would do it justice. Everything was fresh, delicious and came out quick. Happened to stop in while walking through the neighborhood and so glad we did. One of the best, if not the best, Thai food experiences I’ve ever had.

Had curry dumplings and carb Rangoon for appetizers; followed by pho and drunken noodles. Dessert was mango sticky rice. Crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had. The rest was also delicious! Service attentive and friendly.

We were a group of 4 and visited Khaosan on a Monday evening at 9pm and the experience was decent! The food was good but I wouldn't say it was the best. They have a really wide selection of vegetarian options which was great. The portion size was pretty good and so was the taste. We ordered the spring rolls, the thai basil fried rice, garlic chicken, and a few mocktails + cocktails. I feel like the food could've been better. The lychee lemonade was personally my favorite. The service was generally good and I really really wanted to love this place and that is why I would love to give this place another shot :)

Came here with my partner for a meal, and we were so impressed from start to finish. The vibe is lovely, but the food and hospitality are what really set this place apart.<br>​Our server, Suzie, was absolutely fantastic—so incredibly welcoming, attentive, and friendly. She made us feel right at home the second we sat down.<br>​As for the food, everything was stunningly flavorful and beautifully presented. The Khao Soi is incredibly rich and creamy, with the perfect balance of savory depth and texture from the crispy noodles. But the absolute star of the show for me was the duck curry. It has quickly become my absolute favorite dish here. It definitely packs a little bit of a spicy kick, but it’s completely manageable and balanced out so well by the richness of the curry and the sweetness of the fruit. Plus, pairing it with that gorgeous butterfly pea flower blue rice was a really nice touch!

The food was amazing, probably top 5 thai experiences I have had all my life. I used to have michelin-starred food in Thailand, and this is probably on the same level. We got duck curry and drunken noodles with shrimps, and the portion was actually more generous than I expected.<br><br>The place was crowded for dinner time but we were able to get a table without reservation in 15 mins of waiting time. Overall, the service was good, and the food was excellent.<br><br>Will come back here when I am back to NYC again

The pad thai, spicy basil fried rice, curry dumplings, and wings were delicious!! The cocktail (lychee martini) was not strong and just tasted like juice. Mango sticky rice could’ve been better in my opinion! Our server Susie was great!

Stopped in just before happy hour wrapped up at 7 and it was the perfect call. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away, which set the tone for a great visit.<br><br>We ordered a few items off the happy hour menu along with drinks, and everything came out quickly and tasted amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Our server Susi was amazing. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Our drinks were the little mermaid and shark attack.<br><br>Great food, quick service, and a smooth experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

When we saw the restaurant from outside, we instantly thought the vibe was really really nice. Once we entered, we were greeted right away. Susie was our server and she checked on us all the time. We sat for almost 3 hours and no one rushed us to go😅. The food was awesome, curry puffs were on point! Khaosoi was a bit too sweet though. Fish surprisingly wasn't dry, my girlfriend cleaned off the fish bones 😂 Basic salad. The pork belly on a leaf was the perfect combo! Overall great dinner! PS, parking is really easy!

Great restaurant and service! All the dishes were delicious. My favorites include the wings and the fried branzino. The hospitality and service from Forrain was amazing! She was very warm and attentive. Also very fast service. Overall, had a great time and would be back.

Delicious! The food is a bit different from traditional Thai cuisine I had at other restaurants, more modern. We got chicken wings, roasted duck soup noodle, and ocean harvest pad thai. It was a cool experience to watch a staff blowtorch the seafood in front of us.

Favorite comfort Thai place by FAR, with familiar Thai dishes but elevated to the next level. My go-tos are the tom yum pho and the khao soi gai. I always end with the mango sticky rice!! Best service ever too. They come out with food QUICK even though they’re always packed & busy. They time the desert down to the millisecond so it’s fresh and ready as soon as we finish our main meal. Our waitress City was the cutest & best waitress ever!! They went out of their way to get us the last available mango sticky rice of the night!!

Easy to read menu with pictures. Food was really good! We got the udon beef hanger noodles, massaman curry with chicken, and papaya salad. Good serving size for all dishes and quick service. Tables are nice and spaces out. Our server Suzie was great!

We had a great experience at Khaosan. We ordered the chives pancake, moo ping, tom yum, and pad kee mao, everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on and clearly authentic. On top of the amazing food, we loved the restaurant’s vibe and services: warm, lively, and welcoming. Staffs are super nice and friendly. Definitely a place we’d come back to and recommend to Thai food lovers.

The food and service was impeccable. We had amazing service from Forrain was so patient and understanding. She made sure that our food didn’t contain peanuts. Overall 10/10. The whole menu slapped.<br><br>We had the half duck w basil, the crab cakes, classic chicken wings, calamari , curry chicken puffs. Pineapple rice with chicken, and other pieces. So delicious!

Totally unexpected excellent Thai food in Brooklyn. We were looking for the Chinese restaurant we used to go to over 2 decades ago at this address and what a great surprise. This restaurant is at this location now and their food as good a Thai I’ve had in the US. They don’t spice it up too hot so you need ask for extra spice on the side if you like it 🥵 like I do. Definitely would recommend dinner at this location. Made our evening stroll down memory lane.
