The food was tasty and flavorful, but unfortunately it arrived a little colder than I would have preferred. I was also disappointed that the appetizer wasn't served separately. The appetizer and main dish were placed on the same plate, which I personally didn't enjoy. When I order an appetizer, I usually expect it to be something to share and enjoy before the main course arrives.<br><br>That said, the restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere and decor were amazing and created a great dining experience. The waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service no complaints there at all.<br><br>The drinks were sweeter than expected, which may appeal to some guests, but they were a bit too sweet for my taste.<br><br>One thing I really appreciated was the value. The prices were excellent for the generous portions we received, and there was plenty of food for the cost. My favorite item was the hot and sour soup it was absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal.<br><br>Overall, the food had great flavor, the service was excellent, and the restaurant is stunning. With a few improvements to the food temperature and appetizer presentation, it would have been an even better experience.

I've only eaten here once. The hostest was condescending after I told her the bar was full when she suggested I go to the bar. As a solo visitor to the area I was placed at a high top in the back hallway to the bathroom, which was fine, until the server forgot about me. It was a genuine mistake as it was fairly busy and he apologized many times. The guru sushi roll was about average. My dinner plate was chipped. Some people were given digital menues on tablets that had greasy fingerprints all over them (yuck), while others got proper paper menus (not I). The cocktails were very disappointing and well below average. I can see how Jade might fit a niche in Forest Hills, but make no mistake, anyone versed in the current food scene would rate this establishment lower than I.

Came here at happy hour and the food and drinks were amazing. Make sure to get the crispy rice with tuna, rock shrimp, and the teriyaki chicken wings. I especially loved the passion fruit margarita.

We had a reservation for 2 at 7 pm. When we first walked in there was a faint fishy smell. We sat down and waited for 15 minutes before asking the hostess who our server even was. The server was clearly overwhelmed as they also had her serving a party of about 15 people right next to us. The server took our order and we confirmed that despite ordering it all at once our appetizer would come separate from our meal. She said it would. The water came ten minutes later, followed immediately by our appetizer. Seven minutes after the put the appetizer down our food came out. The food was mediocre (shrimp tempura, drunken noodle, bok choy, and thai steak). At this point we still hadn't gotten the drinks we ordered and had to ask for them as well. The party next to us (which our server later explained had been there for five hours) were clearly inebriated and screaming. Our server was apologetic and they comped a dessert that was extremely disappointing (Galub Jamun). The management of this restaurant seemed extremely poor. This is not a place I would recommend.

Arya ….. was amazing Service was phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well put together. The atmosphere was clean, stylish, and had a great vibe that made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. Arya went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, checking in at the right times without being intrusive and making solid recommendations that really enhanced the meal.<br><br>The food came out fresh, well presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried tasted like it was made with real attention to detail. Portions were also generous, which made it feel like great value for what we ordered. The staff overall was polite and attentive, and you could tell they take pride in their service.<br><br>Overall, Jada Restaurant is definitely a place I would return to and recommend to anyone looking for good food, great service, and a comfortable dining experience.

The food here was honestly amazing, everything was packed with flavor from start to finish. For appetizers, we had the beef dumplings, potstickers, and king crab Rangoon, and they were a solid 20/10. Every bite was fresh, well-seasoned, and just really satisfying.<br><br>For mains, we ordered the Mongolian beef and pineapple fried rice, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into the seasoning and preparation. The drinks were strong too, which definitely didn’t hurt.<br><br>Overall, such a great experience I’d absolutely come back.<br><br>Staff was attentive and quick too!<br><br>Atmosphere is cute and cozy!

Absolutely excellent service! From the moment we walked in and were seated, our server Nay M was amazing! 10/10, ask for him unnatural. You won’t be disappointed. We even got a desert on the house behave we were there until closing. Love that for us.

Had a wonderful experience at Jades Eatery. It has nice ambiance and great hostess. Our host Arya, she greeted us warmly upon entering and gave us thoughtful recommendations. We ordered Crispy rice that has Tuna on top, love boat and drunken noodles. The crispy rice was 7/10. The love boat has a very good presentation with great taste. The drunken noodles was one of a kind. We also wanted to try lava cake but they ran out of it. We tried Tiramisu instead.

We went during restaurant week and it was a treat. We had Kevin as our server and he was amazing. I love asking the servers for their personal recommendations and he was definitely on point. I had a Kyoto Sour and hubby had the Beijing drop. For the 1st course we had Maki roll, Rock shrimp tempura. 2nd course was chicken tikka, and honey crispy lotus which was such an amazing dish. Our 4th course was General Tso Chicken, and Teriyaki wild salmon. And for dessert Gulab Jamun, and green tea ice cream. We ended the night with a small hot sake that really hit the spot. We had an amazing time and can't wait to visit again.

This place is 10/10. Everything was great from the drinks, food, to the servers. The place is nice and spacious. Kevin was an amazing host. He was patient, attentive and very friendly. It's restaurant week, and they had a prix fixe menu. To start I had the miso soup, chicken tikka, teriyaki salmon that came with whatever rice you prefer and for dessert cheesecake. The green tea ice cream is amazing too. Definitely recommend Jade Eatery for any event.

In the heart of Austin Street, we found this incredible Asian fusion spot serving some of the freshest sushi around. The food was excellent, and the service was just as impressive — the waitstaff was attentive, fast, and constantly on top of keeping the tables clean. Overall, a great dining experience and definitely a place worth coming back to.

First time visiting with some friends & our experience was magnificent. The service & ambience was great, beautiful aesthetics. The wait time for our meals was fast & we were very satisfied with the flavors of our meals. We loved that it was a halal restaurant with so many different options to choose from. Definitely will be visiting again soon!

I got the chicken tikka masala taco and it was so delicious! The chicken was tender (which is often hard to find) and the naan was soft and buttery. I loved that they added onions for that extra flavor. I also got the Shirley temple which in my opinion was a little bitter. But other than that, everything was perfect. Our waiter was so sweet and the atmosphere was amazing.

He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in at the perfect times without ever being intrusive. Excellent service like his really makes the whole dining experience even better.
