These people are the definition of quality over quantity. As a traditionally raised Pakistani, I could not believe such an authentic spot was hidden away in Staten Island. From the very beginning I was met with hospitable staff who immediately took my order. I wanted to mass order( 20+) for an event and was concerned they couldn’t scale. I asked for a sample and they provided free of charge. They assured me the Nihari tray I was ordering would be even tastier. Heat Flames helped me order the correct size for my event and was very generous with the order. They had my order prepared exactly when I requested it, piping hot and fresh along with lots of sides. I asked for mild spiciness and they delivered perfectly. Not to mention this is the first time I ordered curry and it didn’t spill in the car, thanks to the meticulous packing by Heat Flames. Everybody raved and loved the Nihari. They cared more about the quality and were more than fair on the pricing. I couldn’t be more impressed with the customer service and overall care of quality.

I’m new in Jersey. I tried this place for the first time. I see the lady heating up my Biryani in the microwave in the back. I was baffled and speechless. if I wanted to eat old microwaved food, I could’ve ate my leftovers. for a business, it is not a good practice to microwave food and give it to people. The only reason people go restaurants is to get fresh food. And if I’m doing takeout and live 20 to 30 minutes away, my food is gonna be cold then. I’m gonna get home and microwave it again and it’s gonna be dry. No accountability taken they defended it with rules and regulations which I don’t understand because any other Pakistani restaurant I’ve been the food always been fresh.
I ordered chicken tikka masala and received some random tadka chicken. I have bought chicken tikka masala few months before; it did not look like this and tasted good. I don't know what happened to this restaurant. Chicken tikka masala should not be covered in hot oil.
Response from the owner
Dear [jabbar],
Thank you for contacting us regarding your recent order, and we sincerely apologize for the mix-up and the disappointing experience you had with your Chicken Tikka Masala. As a valued, returning customer, we were very concerned to hear this happened and we want to thank you for bringing it to our attention.
We have investigated what happened in the kitchen. While we can confirm no cooking oil is used in the preparation of this dish, it appears that the sauce was unfortunately heated too quickly over too high a flame. This caused the heavy cream to "break," separating the butterfat and creating the appearance of oil on top. This is a mistake on our part and is not indicative of our usual standards. We are truly sorry for this error.
Masha’Allah, finally a real great spot for great food at great prices. All of the dishes we ordered were amazing. Will be coming many times from New Jersey! Allah Pak bless your business with success and prosperity. Ameen.

Thank you so much see you again
The Chicken karahi has too much bones in it like 60-65% that is why 4 stars. Please pay more attention to it. Overall good place and friendly people. If you don’t like spicy , don’t forget to tell them.
They have a printed flyer menu with pictures. I went to the place and showed them the item I wanted from the lunch menu, but it turns out they don’t have the lunch menu available—even though it’s still on the flyer. 😕 They just didn’t want to give it to me; otherwise it wasn’t a complicated order and they could have prepared it quickly. Waste of time.
Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Craving some chai, my wife and I decided to check out this spot. When I walked in, the lady asked which chai I wanted—regular or Kashmiri. I asked whether they use packets or make it fresh, and she told me it’s made fresh, so I ordered one of each.

While we were seated waiting for our chai, I looked over the menu and decided to try a chicken kebab as well. During that time, the owner and I were chatting about Pakistani food on the island. I mentioned how hard it is to find good naan in Staten Island and how we usually have to go all the way to Coney Island. The owner was kind enough to put in a complimentary naan order for us.

When everything arrived, it was far better than expected. The kebabs were some of the best I’ve had in recent memory, and the naan was definitely the best I’ve had on the island. The regular chai was decent, but the Kashmiri chai was incredible—topped with the nuts it’s traditionally served with. The food was so good that I ended up ordering three more kebabs to take home for my siblings to try. They ended up making four, which we said was fine.

Overall, I highly recommend giving them a try and look forward to exploring more of their menu—especially being able to order fresh naan and kebabs, with Ramadan coming up soon. (My mom says their kebabs are elite and remind her of those she used to go out specifically to eat in Lahore)

Their taste, prices, and customer service have made me a customer.

Thank you so much your compliment.
Happy to see you again.
Wonderful food especially the chicken karahi, haleem and Bihari was amazing.
Service was exellent. Atmosphere was pleasant and calm.
Thanks to Zunaira ma’am for this lovely arrangement for me! Will come back again for her food and her hospitality care.
Loved my visit to Heat Flames USA! I don’t remember the name of the food, but it was something special—fresh, delicious, and halal. The staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. Great food, great people, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!
Tried this place this weekend for the first time and I’m glad I did. Some of the best Indian/Paki food I have had. Restaurant is well kept and Very clean. Owner made sure everything was well packed and ready. My family and enjoyed it very much. Amazing food!
As a food reviewer, many people know me by my reviews and the food videos that I have done , I came to this restaurant just to check about the reviews that this restaurant has , and I ordered one of the most complicated dishes in our culture , I ordered chicken biryani, despite the fact that it was not the authentic biryani , I must say that the taste of the biryani or I should say chicken rice was amazing ,, I ordered just to have couple of bites to taste the texture, the flavor of different spices and to see how the rice are cooked, but first bite made me finish the whole plate, now I feel so full that I cannot even explain 🤣, the service, the hospitality of the business was amazing I was welcomed with a smile and was served on my table and the best thing was I was served everything at the same time , I didn't have to ask for anything additional, this whole experience was very pleasant, it's a very small place and that is the only reason I gave atmosphere three stars , but for the food I gave five stars and this is one of the very few restaurants I have given five stars. So I congratulate heat flames for their amazing food amazing taste amazing combination of the spices. Hopefully next time if I am passing by I might also try a couple of other signature dishes from our culture and would be able to give further reviews and maybe I might also make a video of the place because the presentation was also very good. I definitely recommend that people should try this restaurant and their food for a great experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars
Some of the Best Biryani I've ever had. some constructive criticism they need to be a little faster sometimes the wait is too long so make sure you call ahead if your in a hurry. Kashmiri chai is also great
Staten Island finally has a hidden gem for true desi comfort food. Heat Flames on Forest Avenue delivers flavors that easily rival some of the best Pakistani and Indian restaurants in Queens and Brooklyn.

We ordered the spicy potato parathas, a regular paratha, nihari, and haleem — and every single dish was exceptional. The parathas were perfectly crisp with just the right amount of spice, the nihari rich and deeply flavorful, and the haleem silky and packed with warmth. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in authenticity and balance.

What makes the experience even better is the hospitality. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive — the kind of person who makes you feel genuinely welcome. You can tell this place was opened with heart.

We’ve been back three times just this week, and it’s safe to say we’re hooked. Heat Flames is an absolute must-try for anyone craving real, soulful South Asian food — and a restaurant Staten Island truly needed. Let’s make sure this spot stays around for a long time.

thank you
What an outstanding customer service. The food is excellent. Finally a place near my apartment, I can treat myself whenever I feel tired & don't wanna cook lol.

When we walked in we immediately felt so welcomed, loved the color of the walls because it's so inviting . Not too big of place but if you feel like you wanna just seat down & eat freshly made food you can do that. .

Obviously this place is halal & don't serve alcohol! So as a Muslim I don't have to think twice about eating there. Me & my son went there the second we found out about this place just to show support to our people!

Loved the butter chicken with fresh nun, also tried chicken 65. Liked it a lot. As for the prices go I don't mind, because food is soo good . I have spent more money on junk food than freshly made desi food.

Thank you so much guys, keep up the excellent work. Btw, they just opened like a month ago. Give them some time & they will do excellent with everything!

We will definitely be back for sure. Thank you again for the love you guys shoes us..!
