The food was great. I was just hoping that they had more of an original recipe for a burger patty, rather than just offering Impossible or Beyond burgers.

Just hit up Fat Boy’s Vegan Burgges in Brooklyn after spotting it on TikTok—and wow, this place is everything. The owner was warm and welcoming, walked us through the menu, and made spot-on recommendations. He even showed us the secret menu on the kiosk, which led to loaded steak fries that were next-level.

We went with the Fatty Burger, Spicy Nuggets, and Cassava Fries—and everything was a solid 10/10. I’m not even vegan, and I woke up the next day craving more. The flavors are that good.

If you’re in Brooklyn, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Never in my life have I had a better burger! Scott is the absolute best. Me and my friend frequent this place a lot and the first time I took them they did not believe it was even vegan.
You can't miss on the menu but shout out to the burgers + thotty tots!
Additionally, Fatboy's has gluten free (GF) bread that is really delicious + thick so it doesn't disintegrate but the space is small so its not celiac safe!

Great place to eat, regardless of whether you are vegan or not!

Scott was super kind and helpful in recommending me what to get, as it was my first time getting a vegan burger. The patty was juicy and the extra spice gave the burger a good kick. The tater tots were also perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the added cayenne and brown sugar also added a nice spice to each bite.

Super low-key spot that serves up really great vegan burgers I believe it's a mixture of soy and pea protein, honestly if no one told me it was vegan food I wouldn't have a second guessed it. The burger has an extremely umami flavor and is packed with a bunch of mushrooms that really add to the meal, love how customizable your burger can be. the thotty tots were addicting my only feedback is I wish the cheese was a bit more thicker almost like a nacho glaze, would've been amazing. Super nice staff and extremely informational 10/10 would reccomend

The 60/40 is Absolutely one of the best vegan burgers I have ever eaten. Everything is so messy and good. I can't say enough about how good the food is and guy making it.

Everything is seasoned to perfection here! Easily one of the best burgers (vegan or non) that I’ve had in awhile. Honestly, the only reason I remembered I wasn’t eating real meat was that I didn’t get my usual stomach ache or feel the heaviness of a greasy beef burger. Also the nugs are perfectly seasoned! I’ll be back this week for round 2!

I’m not vegan, but I’m definitely a food lover. I tried their NYC twist on a chopped cheese, and it was delicious. The vegan cheese was a pleasant surprise it actually tasted like real cheese, and for a moment I forgot it was vegan.
I’m not usually a sauce person, but I sampled all of them and really enjoyed the variety. The yucca fries weren’t my favorite but the chopped cheese was the absolute highlight. I had mine with jalapeños, cheese, and all the works, and it was fantastic.
If you’re exploring meatless alternatives in NYC, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. Great experience overall.

I love a flavorful vegan burger that isn’t too heavily loaded with salt. The vegan hajji was packed with flavor and offered a healthier version to a chopped cheese. I enjoyed mine with the cassava fries that was a mix of slightly sweet and spicy served with the deuce sauce and garlic aioli. The cassava was very soft and not too chewy which made it easy to enjoy. Will definitely be back to try some secret menu options, but I can’t stop thinking about how much flavor the vegan hajji added to my palette.

Came with a friend for a TikTok review. Cleanly environment, polite customer service, amazing food, each entre/side cooked to perfect texture and the sauces were ON POINT. The owner gladly answered any questions we had and even proceeded to cater to us by asking us if we needed any more utensils along our meal, sauces and if we were we happy so far and so on. We had the ‘Fat Tony’ and ‘Steak which’. Overall a great experience should definitely come by if you’re a vegan/vegetarian or even just looking for healthier options and substitutes.

Today, I rolled up to Fat Boys Vegan Burgers, and let me tell you, we're talking about some serious plant-based magic happening in this kitchen. I dove straight into their signature 60/40 burger, and I've got to say – this is the kind of innovative vegan cooking we appreciate. Although I normally don't do faux meats, I wanted to give this a try.

The burger itself was masterfully seasoned, bringing layers of savory depth that would make any chef proud. While the lettuce could have been more crisp and fresh, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The chef really understands how to build flavors – this isn't just another veggie patty, this is a carefully crafted culinary creation.

Now, let's talk about those yucca fries. These aren't your standard potato fries, folks. We're talking about perfectly cooked yucca root that brings a hearty, substantial bite with a beautiful crispy exterior. It's the kind of side dish that doesn't play second fiddle – it stands proudly alongside the main event.

What really elevated the experience was the genuine hospitality. The cook showed real passion for the food, taking time to walk me through the menu with patience and expertise. That kind of authentic connection with customers? That's what transforms a good restaurant into a great one.

Fat Boys Vegan Burgers is proving that plant-based cooking can deliver big, bold flavors while staying true to vegan principles. They're not just making vegan food – they're making good food that happens to be vegan.

Fast and delicious, had the 60/40 burger with the Fatboy sauce. It was very well put together. The burger smash burger style but still held its shape and structure of the burger. Nice char and a just the right amount of heat. Great bun and all the vegetables I ordered were fresh and crisp. Probably my 2nd or third favorite vegan burger in the city. Will definitely come back.

Fat Boy’s Vegan Burgers in the heart of Brooklyn is an absolute gem for burger lovers and my new go to whenever I want a vegan burger. If you’re ever hit by a burger craving (and trust me, it happens to the best of us), this place is your ultimate destination. Their bold and flavorful vegan burgers, secret sauce magic, and unique yucca fries make it a must-visit. These fries are more like golden pillows—soft, flavorful, and downright addictive. The friendly vibes and quick service add to the experience. Plus, it’s an all-vegan haven, so guilt-free indulgence tastes even better. Next time you’re in Brooklyn, skip the ordinary and head straight to Fat Boy’s—it’s not just a meal; it’s an unforgettable experience! 🌱🍔❤️
