Ordered it n Uber Eats. Came on time, the driver followed the instructions and the food is delicious. Ordered birria quesadilla and is sooooooo good.

We were a large group of 14 people who arrived. We enjoyed the food very much! Dennis was also an amazing server, he helped all of us receive our dishes :)

FIVE STARS for everything!!!<br>Love the food, we ordered 2 tacos and one burrito. Traditional flavour, served by Danny, who was extremely nice to us. The service is fast, the veggies are fresh and the meat was cooked perfectly. Loved the guacamole sauce aswell, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is warm and joyful. Loved this place. Would recommend to anyone 🫶🏻

We had a great meal: a chicken burrito, a kids' bowl with chicken, beans, and rice, a chicken torta, and churro bites for dessert. Dennys served us (thanks again for your patience); he was incredibly courteous and helpful in accommodating our needs. If you want to eat well without spending a lot, I highly recommend it.

El Gallo Taqueria absolutely deserves five stars! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly service made me feel right at home. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese torta, and it was beyond delicious. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the eggs were fluffy and flavorful, and the melted cheese tied everything together beautifully. The bread was fresh, soft on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. I’m Mexican and love bacon egg and cheese, this was something I didn’t know i NEEDED. Every bite was packed with rich, satisfying flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care in their food. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon! Very friendly service when ordering. Dennis was wonderful, insightful, and friendly. We ordered the Birria, Carnitas, Fish & Al Pastor. Our favorite was the Al Pastor and Carnitas, both very delicious and moist. The Birria was good, but we didn’t get any consome with it, which it was missing to make it a bit juicier. The fish, we wouldn’t get again, it was mostly batter and barely any fish flavor to be quite honest; surprised it was listed as a “must-try” on the reviews. The corn tortillas they were served in were delicious. We also got the Esquites which was delicious and piping hot! Would definitely come back and try the grilled chicken and carne asada, and would definitely get the 2 pork ones again. Leaving super satisfied.

This place was amazing. The food is really good and tasty, it came on the perfect time. Deny gave us a great experience when he was taking our order, he is really kind and friendly.<br><br>I really recommend this place

Had an awesome lunch at El Gallo Cocina. We ordered a carne asada burrito and the meat was tender and the salsas were finally bringing the heat I was craving. We also got chilaquiles with Al Pastor and that was even better! Loved the food, yet the margaritas were the real star of the show, we had to order multiple after the first round with tajin rims. Shoutout to Dennis for the great service and the fire recommendation of ordering a Mexican coffee at the end. Would recommend this place

Dennis was so sweet and accommodating. He let me try the habanero sauce it was super spicy as he warned me. But so good I couldn’t stop myself from eating it. Fish tacos also my fave! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I’d be back :)

Someone told me this place is good. So I order on Uber Eats. The taco chicken was cold and defrosting smh. It was like someone took the chicken out of the freezer and thrown it on the grill before defrosting first properly. Maybe I caught them on a bad day lol. But still, you take people money. Make sure you do the job right. I was looking forward to some good tacos. I had to trash it.

Fast and good. Not many taco spots around dumbo. Go to green point for some fire tacos you tourists.

This is my go to spot! Ive had the Birria tacos twice, but my favorite go to is the carne asada bowl! My son always gets a burrito. We love it! The staff is so nice and the restaurant is always really clean. @Gisselle

Underrated! Underrated! El Gallo is one turn away from the busy restaurants near the Manhattan Bridge lookout, and it was the perfect spot. The food was fantastic where we enjoyed a beer and margarita while enjoying our lunch. The staff made us feel extremely welcomed and appreciated. While we were eating, we saw people debating coming in, and we were silently rooting for them to come enjoy the amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. Always rooting for this place and want to go back!

El Gallo is truly a gem! Everything I’ve eaten from here has been delicious & reasonably priced! (Especially for DUMBO) the drinks are also really good! They also have a great happy hour! It’s 2 tacos & a shot for $15!<br>Will definitely continue coming here, it’s so worth it !

I keep coming back to this place and it’s hands down the best taco place in New York. The service is great (Dennis is the best) and the food is impeccable. Will keep coming here 😍
