Full disclosure, it was my first time visiting this pizza joint because I'm a native New Yorker and i avoid DUMBO like the plague. I only ordered a plain slice which was on the small side for $3.50, not bad after that prices goes on a steep incline which is understandable being that it's a gentrified area. Looking at the menu board they do offer mad variations of slices and plates. Good and quick service but you'll have to stand on line which i found weird. Lastly the slice was mid but not disappointing just wish it was larger.

Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your experience, Asun! We're glad you decided to give us a try. We appreciate your feedback about the size of the slice and the line—your insights help us improve. We're always looking to enhance our offerings, so we hope you'll come back to explore our variety of slices and plates. Your support means a lot to us, especially in this vibrant community!

I’ve been here several times, and it never disappoints. Their pizzas are always loaded with toppings. The taco pizza is my favorite, and the works pizza is also packed with flavor. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.

Response from the owner

Beatríz, your fantastic review truly makes our day! We're thrilled to hear that you keep coming back for our loaded pizzas, especially the taco and works pizzas. It's wonderful customers like you who inspire us to keep delivering quality and flavor. Thank you for being a loyal part of our Front Street Pizza family! 🍕❤️

Very disappointed with my recent visit to Front Street Pizza. I ordered the pasta, and it was not good at all. The noodles were distinctly undercooked and hard to chew. To make matters worse, there was barely any sauce, leaving the dish completely dry and lacking any real flavor. It just wasn't tasty. I would not recommend ordering the pasta here.

Response from the owner

Hi Iman,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are always sorry to hear when a guest leaves disappointed.

I do want to clarify that the dish you ordered was our Pasta with Chicken, Broccoli, Garlic, and Oil. This is a traditional Italian preparation that relies on a light coating of olive oil and garlic rather than a heavy tomato or cream sauce, which is why it may have seemed 'dry' if you were expecting a standard sauce.

When you mentioned your disappointment, we immediately offered to bring you a container of our homemade marinara sauce at no extra charge to help adjust the dish to your liking. We’re sorry that didn't hit the mark for you. We always want our guests to love their meals, and we appreciate you giving us a try

As tourists, the pizza on this place was the only good thing that we have ate in a span of a week, it was really good and the amount of toppings were very much abundant. We got the whole pie which was more than enough to feed a family of four, it was a very pleasant experience and I would totally recommend it.

Response from the owner

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime and whilst about 3/4 full there was no wait for slices. I ordered the pepperoni which was only OK. It tasted a bit stale like it had been baked yesterday. The bake was a bit pale and there was too much cheese/not enough sauce. I would give the slice a 6/10

Response from the owner

Phil, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback about the pepperoni slice and will take your comments on the bake and sauce-to-cheese ratio into consideration. Our goal is to serve slices that delight, and your insights are invaluable in helping us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to elevate your experience on your next visit!

Super cheesey pizza. Fantastic cheese slice. 3 slices and one coke costed 17$

unfortunately the worst pizza i’ve had, ever. was super busy on a sunday at 3:30pm and staff were not pleasant. pizza was burnt to a crisp, forced myself to eat it as i was starving but couldn’t finish, lacked flavour, hardly even warm, usually love the crust but everything was just way too crispy, really hard to find a positive

Response from the owner

I ordered the Hero Eggplant Hot Sandwich, and the service was very disappointing. When I went to pick up my food, the cook made a smart remark saying my sandwich had been ready. When I asked “excuse me?” he pretended not to hear me and then said out loud “oh 97.”

Before that, I had been asking multiple staff members where my food was, and no one seemed to know, just kept referring me to the end of the line. It was frustrating and unprofessional, especially since I was just trying to find my order.

The sandwich itself was fine, but the way I was treated really ruined the experience.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback, Jessica. We're sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We strive for better service and will address this with our team. Your satisfaction is important to us.

First off, prime location and large dining room. Secondly, it’s always a positive sign when they’re making pizzas fresh in house. Third, was a delight to spend less than 30 bucks for 4 slices and 4 waters (which has cost double+ in the city across the water) ….the forth part is that we all enjoyed our slice. I ordered the spinach pizza, and it has the most robust spinach and flavor than the others I’ve had in the city. Lastly…I would just warn that you check the chairs before sitting. I almost fell over in the first chair I sat in, but even the second chair I grabbed was very wobbly and loose….Im sure they can grab a screwdriver and tighten up the seats. Nonetheless, tasty pizza, solid location, and friendly service.

Response from the owner

Thanks, Carl! We're super glad you enjoyed the fresh pizza and had a great time with us. Your feedback about the chairs is appreciated, and we'll definitely take a look at that. Hope to see you again soon for more tasty slices! 🍕

3.3 stars. Dropped in for three slices of pizza. Wife and son each had a Margarita slice ($5.15 each) while I tried the Buffalo Chicken slice ($5.15). Crispy and served hot, we enjoyed the quick snack before we wandered off to explore Brooklyn some more.

Response from the owner

Thank you, M Chu, for your review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the crispy pizza slices and had a quick snack with your family. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide an even better experience on your next visit!

A great wee place . There is no table service You order at the counter and they give you a ticket . Then they call out your number and you collect your food. It was a busy place which is always a good sign.

I was had an amazing Hawaiian pizza slice, tasty 😋. My daughter has a gluten free pizza which she said was the best gluten free pizza she had ever eaten.

Considering how busy it was service was relatively quick

After exploring DUMBO, we headed to Front Street Pizza for some brunch, and it was a great choice!

Be warned: their pizzas are absolutely massive. Seriously, for an adult male, two slices are more than enough to fill you up. Think Costco pizza size for a whole pie – it's huge! We almost ordered a full pizza, but luckily, we decided to get just a couple of slices each, which was definitely the right call.

The pizza itself was delicious, hitting all the right notes. Plus, the place has a relaxed atmosphere, with the added bonus of outdoor terrace seating, which is perfect for enjoying your meal while soaking in the DUMBO vibes.

If you're in the area and craving some seriously satisfying pizza with generous portions, Front Street Pizza is definitely worth a stop.

Peperonni, Margharita, and Taco pizzas were PHENOMENAL.
Honestly I walked in to use the restroom but it said customers only, so me and my parents ordered a slice each. We ended up staying there for 30 mins getting 3 of those HUGE slices each. Good location. Highly recommend!

I don’t know how I haven’t written a review about this place! The best part? I’ve been here many times and each time I swear it’s better than the last. It is one of our favorites places to go for pizza while visiting the city. Over the years, I’ve tried their cheese, pepperoni, supreme, buffalo chicken and many more and I’ve never had a slice I didn’t like. Their garlic knots are a must and are affordable for 1 order. Overall, pricing is great. The worst part? If you get there too late, you might miss out of certain flavors so try to get there earlier. Also, this place is popular so it can get busy and kinda messy. We sat at a table that hadn’t been cleaned but we were just happy to find a spot.
