We had a delicious dinner. Each portion was huge! The lobster ravioli was filled with lobster. The chicken parm and chicken marsala had huge pieces of tender chicken. The atmosphere is local and classic. We were stuffed. Prices were reasonable with generous portions. We sat by the window and watched the neighbors.

Don Giovanni Ristorante never disappoints. Their pepperoni pizza is packed with flavor, perfectly crispy, and incredibly satisfying. The four‑cheese pizza is on another level; rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality in every bite. A fantastic spot for anyone who loves truly great pizza.

We really enjoyed our experience here. Our server was incredible! We asked a couple of questions about ingredients and she quickly realized we were asking about food intolerances and was very knowledgeable about the menu and potential allergens and other issues.<br><br>She helped us to order what we wanted with modifications and the food was delicious.

Unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences so far.<br><br>The starting bread they served was cold and hard… clearly not fresh. When we asked the server if the pasta or gnocchi is freshly made, they proudly said no, it’s all just frozen stuff. We should’ve left right then.<br><br>Both the main entrees were watery which wouldn’t expect after ordering their “creamy” sauces. Server was right, pasta indeed tasted like frozen off the shelf kind which was recooked hastily. We got their Tortellini in Vodka sauce and Creamy Pesto Gnocchi. Even the table side Parmesan in a bottle lacked any semblance of flavor.<br><br>Mediocre food for expensive prices. Restaurant barely had any diners in it… in hindsight for good reason. Skip at all costs

We always come by here when we are in NYC. We are vegetarian, and the pasta is good but the pizza is what really shines. We usually get the Genovese. That pizza is great all the way through - good crust, flavorful sauce and a nice balance for the other toppings. The service is prompt and attentive. They move people through very efficiently - perfect for a pre-show dinner.

Perfect food, and stark professionalism. Shout it from the rooftops until there's a Don Giovanni on every corner of NYC! There's not a better place to go for Italian, if you're here for a day, stop by IMMEDIATELY!

So I’m writing this review as I’m chowing down on my food I got a pizza and fried calamari which were both fire by the way!!. The calamari wasn’t tough, the salad was really good and the pizza was again FIRE!!. I can’t wait to come back!!.

Such a Great Dinner Party at Don Giovanni’s!<br><br>Don Giovanni’s honestly gave me such a great experience. The food was delicious, super fresh, full of flavor, and you could tell it was made with care. The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home.<br><br>I have to mention David, our waiter, because he was amazing. He was so friendly, always checked in at the right time, and really made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell he genuinely cared about making our experience great and was super patient, if you ever stop by ask for David!<br><br>Overall, everything from the food to the service was perfect. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for good Italian food in the city!

During a recent business trip to New York, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was truly an enjoyable experience.<br><br>The ambiance is beautiful, with a warm, inviting atmosphere and an interior that feels authentically Italian. The lighting and seating create the perfect setting for a cozy meal. 🥘<br><br>Service was excellent, fast, professional, and friendly. The staff truly added to the overall experience. 🍽️<br><br>I highly recommend trying the Spaghetti with tomato sauce and the one with white sauce. Both dishes were incredibly delicious, simple, and full of flavor, no unnecessary additions, just pure pasta perfection. 👌<br><br>If you’re a pasta lover, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

This place is a gem that we are almost hesitant to share! Authentic Italian food and hospitality in the center of NYC pretty much right there at Times Square.<br>We have tried 4cheese pizza and fresh mozzarella basil with mushrooms pizza both simply amazing, thin crust, homemade sauce, melts in your mouth. Fried calamari are great, not too much batter and fried to perfection.<br>French Onion soup is one of the best we ever ate. Mussels in white whine and garlic sauce are out of this world.<br>You just can’t go wrong with this place, everything is so delicious and perfectly portioned to share.<br>The tiramisu and cheesecake are both homemade and delicious.<br>The only problem is what to choose because they got quite a menu.<br>The restaurant is small and cozy, gets really busy with how beautiful the place is and how good everything tastes. And they get your food out fast and efficient despite being super busy.<br>Don’t forget about the drinks - the cocktails, wine and espresso are all superb.

Such good pizza and great homey atmosphere. We got the California pizza, Mediterranean salad, and tiramisu and all were amazing. We’re visiting from out of state and stopped in just off the street for our first meal in NYC and we were not disappointed! Our server Mo was amazing and gave us some great recs for the city. Def recommend!

The best fettuccine we had in NYC! It was quickly prepared, perfectly creamy, and really tasty. The sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the pasta beautifully. We were impressed by both the quality and the speed of the service. Definitely a must-try for pasta lovers!

I would say @dongiovanni_ristorante is pretty on par for what I was expecting of the theatre district. I went in with the expectation that it would be more American style. Overall I’d recommend to go for their pizza as it was a lot better than the pasta in my opinion!<br><br>The waiters were super kind and the interior decor did remind me of Italy. We had a pleasant time prior to going to a Broadway show!

Great food and portions and family friendly. Gnocchi and cheese ravioli were great. The brushetta was okay. We had various dishes and it was all very good. Reasonably priced and service was good. The decor is welcoming and it used to be an Improv-comedy club with well known acts!

Amazing restaurant! My wife fancied pasta and we happened to walk past so went in. The food was absolutely amazing! Fresh and well prepared, we haven’t stopped talking about it! Service was equally amazing, everyone was super friendly! Will happily recommend!<br><br>EDIT: In response to the owners question, we ordered the Pepperoni Pizza, the Carbonara, Pasta with Chicken in tomato sauce and the House Salad! Tasted fantastic! Not normally one for taking food pictures but felt obliged too on this occasion!
