I recently placed an order with Chopt Salad and unfortunately received the wrong order. This has happened multiple times due to there not being an option in the app to properly substitute the chicken selection, despite there being clear notes included on the order. I have never had an issue paying the upcharge for the correct protein.<br>I called the store simply looking for a resolution, as previous locations have been helpful in correcting mistakes like this. However, Jennifer, the employee who answered the phone, spoke to me in a disrespectful and confrontational tone.<br>She repeatedly told me I "should have put it in the notes," even though notes were clearly provided with the order.<br>As someone who previously managed a Chopt location, I calmly explained that the way the situation was being handled felt unprofessional and disrespectful. During that conversation, Jennifer hung up the phone on me. When I called back, she stated she "had to hang up because the answer was no."<br>Instead of offering any reasonable solution, I was told to physically bring back the incorrect salad and reorder, which would have caused me to lose even more time during lunch break while still leaving me without food to eat in the moment.<br>Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. What was disappointing was the lack of professionalism, empathy, and customer service in resolving a simple issue. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled moving forward.
