Long time patron of Bedstuy fish fry . I tried the Uber Eats buy 1 get 1 free deal . Healthy size portions and it’s a great deal for the money .

Food be BUSSINNNN! Have never had a bad meal from here! It’s always tasty and they have plenty healthy options. A+++

I am an Uber Eats delivery driver, and unfortunately my experience picking up orders from this location has consistently been negative.<br><br>The order pickup process is completely disorganized. There is no clear system for handling delivery drivers, and orders are often not ready on time. Staff members appear unprepared and lack basic coordination, which causes unnecessary delays.<br><br>Employees are frequently inattentive and unprofessional when asked simple questions about order status. There is no sense of urgency or accountability.<br><br>For delivery drivers, time is money — and this place shows no respect for that. Management seriously needs to improve organization, communication, and staff training.

This location always disappoints. If it is not one thing it is another. I ordered my food at 12:20pm and didn’t receive it until 1:45pm and I was in the store. I had to wait 45 minutes just for mashed potatoes! It is completely unacceptable that even the workers know that it takes long to make but STILL don’t have the back up ready. As someone who worked in customer service the service here was TERRIBLE. I will not be returning

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECIEVED ANYWHERE! BED STUY was requested specifically so that is why I went here. This location is a take-out only establishment with a long steam table under glass where you pick what you want. First the good, 3 parking spots. That's a big deal in Brooklyn. I arrived at about 11:30am and pulled right up to the front. Thats the end of most of the good. There are several doors side by side and no sign on the actual entrance door. The front glass was foggy and difficult to see inside. The standing area is painted in a drab color like a correctional or check cashing facility. NO PRICES OR MENUS TO BE SEEN. The counter runs left to right all the way across the store. There was a young man all the way to the left behind the counter. I walked up to him said hello and started giving him my first of two orders. He did not say a word. He lifted his right arm and pointed to the other end of the counter. I was confused. I asked him what does that mean? Again nothing came out of his mouth. The worker just started walking so I followed him. When he stopped, I stopped and then he nodded. I placed two orders to take out, pictures attached. When the bill was totaled I almost had a heart attack. Over $50 for food served in plastic. The food was good, a strong 8 out of 10. Very good but certainly not super exceptional. I paid the bill and the bag was plopped on the counter. No thank you, no come back again. Nothing. As a matter of fact there were about 6 staff working in the kitchen area and they all looked like they were at a wake. I spend my money only with vendors that treat me properly. Small businesses have to learn customer service in order to grow and maintain clientele. Bye bye Stuy for me. Never again!

I hate that this is my first negative review, especially after being a loyal customer of Bed-Stuy Fish Fry for over 10 years. I’ve always returned because the food has been consistent and good—until today.<br><br>Thankfully, I keep photos of my food. The first picture shows what the whiting is supposed to look and taste like. The second picture, the whiting sandwich I received today, was completely different. It tasted like cheap, frozen fish you’d buy from Jetros—the kind that’s been frozen, defrosted, and refrozen. It was soggy, dry, and lacked the fresh flavor Bed-Stuy Fish Fry is known for.<br><br>I was physically in the store and ordered a whiting dinner through the Uber app to take advantage of the buy-one-get-one-free deal. Because I enjoy the whiting so much, I also ordered a whiting sandwich. Unfortunately, this was the worst whiting I’ve ever had.<br><br>When I called the store, I was told I was the only person who complained today. That still doesn’t answer the real issue: why wasn’t I told the whiting had been replaced or was different from your usual fish? If the quality changes, customers deserve to know before spending their money.<br><br>I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. I wasted $45, and now I have to spend even more money to get dinner for my family from somewhere else. After 10 years of loyalty, this experience was unacceptable.

I LOVE THE FOOD. But the workers are rude. Every time I order from there I have pray that something doesn't go wrong. My last order They messed up 3x.... 1) I went in to pick up as usual it was very busy. The lady messed up my name, I asked her to confirm the spelling she rolled her eyes and told me "then it's not you" . As she put the bag back i saw the receipt and realized it was my order. I called out to her letting her know it was mine. She ignored me and served EVERY SINGLE person (even those who came in after me). 2) Finally a young man came upfront and I asked him for my food. I get home, the side of seafood mac n Cheese is not in the bag. I drove back (3mn away). 3) They started arguing that they gave it to me and basically accused me of stealing the food. When I threatened to dispute the entire bill, they reluctantly gave me the mac n Cheese while talking trash under their breath

Food is always good here service can have a step up. Girls are doing a good job but the food takes way too long and the delivery app services need to accommodate with that. Waited over an hour for my food and I was told cancel it if you want your food is somewhere back there there.. waited pick up time was 5:46 PM. Waited till 715. Left with no food to go home to my hungry kids. It’s all good went to Popeyes. Didn’t really want that but it is what it is.

I just got my order from UBER EATS AND IT WAS INCOMPLETE. I ORDERED THE STUFFED SALMON WITH MASH POTATOES AND BROCCOLI AND ALL I GOT WAS THE SALMON NO SIDES. THE BUY ONE GET ONE.<br>I WANT MY $73.77 back. ASAP

So this is a mixed review…the food is very good but my issue is the service (at least with delivery) I order with Uber Eats regularly and at a certain point they stopped giving me me ketchup, hot chase or tartar with the fish meals and may sound simple but I believe everyone can agree the condiments can make/break/elevate the meal . I think these are just basic standards but, figured after the first time it was missing it was simple mistake. Then it happened twice more…the issue I reallly have is after. I would call and let them know my name , and say please add these to my meal. Today will be now be my 2nd time calling, speaking to someone who did say they will add it and not getting any condiments. I barely ever leave reviews but this is just a turn off for something so simple.

The Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs Was A Great Choice Of Meat To Jerk. It Was Juicy & Tender 🤌🏾👏🏾. The Mac & Cheese Was Great. The Collard Greens Were Ok. They Were On The Sweet Side. I Prefer My Collards With Smoked Meat & Onions. Nonetheless The Food Was Delicious. Lastly The Crab Cake Balls Were Great. Wish I Placed 2 Orders. I’ll Add This Place To My “To Go” Spots When I’m In Brooklyn. 💚

I ordered food 1 hour to wait and see your food sitting in front of you getting cold. You have people walking in putting phones in the workers face and being serviced while all along your waiting. Very unprofessional and the yound man working their bagging up the food is clueless about customer service.<br>You would want to keep your customers happy not sad.

BEWARE!!!! They have this buy one get one free deal that’s been going on for a while. Just understand you are NOT getting fresh food. You have to think critically, if a restaurant has a buy one, get one free deal going on for menu items that are usually expensive at any other restaurant (example: seafood, lamb chops) they have to be cutting corners somewhere inorder to make up for the money they are losing by giving away free seafood, lamb chops, etc. Otherwise, it would not make sense financially for the restaurant. The lamb chops I received were very small and very hard. The salmon was stale. You are receiving old, stale, leftover food. PSA If you like quality seafood stay away from this place. If you cannot tell the difference between quality and mediocre then this place is the place for you. See photos below. Unfortunately, I can’t add videos to a review because then you guys would be able to see the video of how hard the lamb chops sound banging against the container since it was so stale & old.

No tables inside, only take out. Very brisk on a Sunday afternoon, but service was still quick and polite. So there's lots of activity behind the counter. One of the best ever whiting sandwich I have had. And the collards were also excellent, with a bit of meat and a rich smoky flavor. Will absolutely return to try many other menu items. Loved it!

The food here is so yummy. I enjoyed everything we've had so far. No complaints. A little bit of a wait, but well worth it. The customer service was great as well.
