Well worth the drive to eat on the water. Solid seafood. Service was really slow. Waited 10 minutes before we got up to ask for more drinks. Server was sitting inside. The food and views made up for the lack of service.
Very beautiful in the summer. Their drinks are amazing and had a good kick.
Their service is amazing with excellent staff. Their portions are huge.
Great atmosphere, beautiful views, but the food was just ok. Taste pretty bland to me, however the crème brûlée cheesecake was delicious
Amazing restaurant. The food was so delicious and mouth-watering that we simply did not have time to take a photo of it. Very welcoming atmosphere, very clean, the food was fresh and hot. At first it was a little scary because it was necessary to drive through a suspicious street with trucks, but when we got to the restaurant we did not regret it for a second. Very beautiful location, fresh air and seafood. We were also offered a children's menu, since we were with a child. We will definitely come back, thank you for a wonderful evening!
Typical American fare with some seafood classics! Awesome spot! You can sit on the outdoor deck on the water, pull uo with your boat or swim up! Definitely love it! Our server Keri was awesome!
I celebrated my aunt's 80th birthday here. The servers were very nice and attentive. I enjoyed the food, especially the baked ziti! I plan on visiting this place again before the summer ends.
On May 18, Ms. Chelsea, and on May 20, Ms. Pam, had both been pleasant, attentive and nice to us. The 18th was my Nay’s 93rd birthday and on the 20th was a get together with our friends.

Bayhouse serves fresh, tasty food with water view and planes overhead on the 18th. Their servings are quite filling. My Nay liked her Broiled Seafood Combo.

Our guests on the 20th were pleased with their Seafood Linguine, Fish & Chips, Broiled Flounder, Key Lime Pie and Cheesecake😋. My husband liked the Tuna special as well.

The complimentary variety of bread and butter that we were served on the 20th were warm and good.

My virgin pinacolada was pricey at $12 and in a plastic cup. My husband’s Steak Melt on the 18th was skimpy.

Overall, we had two very good experiences in Bayhouse. On the 20th, we chatted a long time after our desserts. Ms. Pam served us a second set of water with lemon slices and also a pitcher of water. Thank you, Ms. Pam & Ms. Chelsea!
Such a cool experience! You get to sit out on the water. I went on a beautiful day. The sun was shining, breeze was breezing, waves were waving…

Espresso Martinis were 🤌🏽
Baked Clams = yumm 🤤

It’s next to the airport so you get to watch the beautiful planes fly by. Loved it. Highly recommend going out there on a nice day and sipping some martinis!

The bar inside was amazing too! And oh… awesome staff! The service was GREAT!
Always a nice visit on a sunny afternoon for lunch on the water or a sit-down dinner and drinks inside the restaurant. The menu items are vast with both bar food and entrees. I've never had anything I didn't like here. The staff is friendly and service very efficient.
Revisited 9/14/24 and I'll say again, the staff and service is excellent. Nothing over the top but basic consideration and decency go such a long way for me. I stress this because I've been out many times, and the service was not pleasant. Having a great dinner last night was partly due to the mannerisms of The Bayhouse employees. In addition, all of our food was amazing and the mixed drinks were nice nad strong. I can only describe this restaurant as a hidden gem or diamond in the rough. Needless to say but I will always be up for lunch or dinner here.Revisited 9/14/24 and I'll say again, the staff and service is excellent. A hole in a wall type of place. Close to JFK and definitely worth the trip to. The view overlooking the bay is amazing and the food is excellent. I was in Long Island for a week and the steak here outshined places that charged twice the price. We had dinner and went back again for lunch the next day.
Great place. Use a map to find it. Like a hidden gem. Party of 6-food was great. Service was great-did slow down toward the end. Apple pie desert was great. Drinks were great. Calamari was really fresh and tasty. I will be going back to dine outdoor since it was a little cold today and rained.
Nice, out of the way place. The food was very good. Service was ok but not good on some basics. No one came to our table for almost 15 minutes, no water brought, no bread, then no butter, then plates not cleared. The saving grace is the deck on the bay. Sit by the waters edge and watch the planes go by.
The restaurant was decent. The food was average, nothing to make me coming running back. The food needed more refinement. Either seasoning or small touches like toasting the lobster roll bun. The mixed drinks were disappointing. I loved the ambiance though. I chose to dine outside and landed a table right next to the water. I’m not going to lie I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. It was far too loud inside between the music and the large parties. If your looking for a more intimate experience; I’d recommend sitting outside.
Okay, so here is the run down on this spot. They have Ample amount of parking and more than enough seating in the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was kind of difficult to find because it's located in the way back lol. Now for the food looks delicious right? Well I wasn't a fan of this meal. It was super lemon tasting and I couldnt eat it. I ordered chicken fingers and it was okay.. Maybe another selection would have been better. Try it out for yourself though..
