This time I ordered to go. Dine in much better. Cole slaw tasted like it may have gone bad. Otherwise I love this place and have been going over 20 yrs

Let me start with the outside as this is where we asked to sit. Be it you sit under the tent or even under the shade of the trees you cannot go wrong. For the apps the calamari was crisp and fresh, the jack daniels wings had a pleasant kick to them and the guac and chips were simply guac and chips, haha. I asked the waiter what he would suggest and he said, without a doubt the Cuban panini. Boy was he right. Real pork not deli sliced and plentiful. The sweet potatoes fries were crispy yet soft in the inside and the onion rings were delish. So if your in the neighborhood and want some good eats don't overlook this establishment. For the food and the friendly staff will not disappoint.

I can't believe that I have not made it over to their local musicians evening before last night! It was a pleasant surprise! What fun! I have been to occasional lunches and dinners at Austin's Ale House. Food was always very good. Specials are always very good, prices are reasonable, service is always friendly, accommodating and prompt. The bar area seemed fine, too. This is a great local place that deserves brisk business.

I only have great things to say about this place. I am in town from South Carolina for a college football bowl game. We stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience. The staff were amazing and friendly. The food was very good too. Seems like a very local place, which is our vibe so check it out if you are in the area.

Food!:
- French onion soup- amazing so delicious
- Lentil soup- got great reviews also
- Brisket Sandwich with onion rings- this was good but the feedback was the brisket needed seasoning/salt. Onion rings were good.
-voodoo pasta- very good but lacking heat. Needs a lot more spice. Added red pepper flakes and that helped tremendously

All in all this place was very good. As I mentioned, the folks there were great. Bartender was so friendly, greeted us immediately, and got us to a table. Our server took over from there and was awesome too. Great experience!

Came here with a group of 17+ people and they handled it perfectly. Super accommodating, very patient, and the food came out all together (which is rare with a group that big!).

The food was amazing, everything was hot and flavorful, and the service made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Holy moly is this place awesome! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is lively. My favorite experience was on St. Patrick’s day of last year, there was live music and it was so festive! On a regular day though you’ll find sports to watch, there’s a bit of gambling to be had, good food and really lovely staff. They even have a huge outdoor seating area that’s heated in the winter. I’ve never been disappointed.

Austin’s is quaint pub steak house. We stopped noon on Saturday. Friendly staff. Steak sandwich was cooked just right. Alcohol drinks were good. Irish coffee delicious. I highly recommend with the right company.

Their latest surf and turf is absolutely spectacular!
Who would have thought of it, a Kangaroo steak as the Turf, with Platypus as the Surf!
You can only get this special if you know who to talk to and the man to talk to at Austin's ale House is John!
John is not there all the time so you've got to time your visits, and it's worth it because John has access to other "secret" menu items, that are out of this world. Ask about the Alien Burgers.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
( This is a spoof!, but you already knew that! )

My best friend and came out here with some friends and it didn’t disappoint. With best food in Queens, Austin Ale House shows its charm. Decorated to feel like a cozy bar on one side, and tasteful casual dining experience on the other. The recommendation was Prime Rib. Thursday and Friday nights are ideal for this delectable cut of meat. They have other specials throughout the week and I would tell you to check them out. The Shepard’s Pie empanadas were great too. Check out the horseradish dipping sauce and au jus for the rib….they have two sizes . The queen cut and the king. If you plan to take any home take the king otherwise enjoy the pictures and check them out .

My family LOVES this place. Food is really good, they have a good deal on Sundays (kids eat free!!) and they have the romantic outdoor space. 3 businesses we can't lose in KG - 1) Bagel's dozens, 2) Dani's and 3) Austin's Ale House. Long Live Austin's Ale House!!!!

Great food and service. Definitely try the Poutine (topped with short rib) because its delish!!

Staff is friendly and SUPER attentive. Darlene was our waitress and she was a pure delight! She single handedly made us decided we will be returning again! (Thanks, Darlene!)

The outdoor seating is cute and quaint with the LIRR passing right by you.

Will definitely return simply on how great the staff is and how yummy their food is!

A great place for a nice meal! 3.5/5 tbh.

The schnitzel was really well made. It had a nice crisp, sauced well, and had a robust flavor.

The clam chowder was decent. I think there could have been more flavor.

I'm not sure if it was a bad night for the wings, but unfortunately my wings were on the dry side. The exterior of the wings were nicely coated with the delicious mango habanero sauce and the skin had a nice crunch. Sadly, the meat was a bit too overcooked for my liking.

The waiters were really nice but the service seemed a bit slow that evening. The dining area wasn't too crowded, so I'd imagined something was going on behind the scenes.

Certainly not a bad place! I'd try it again.

The area is nice and comfortable. Once you walk in, you're in a bar, but I went with my kids as well since they have a dining area as well. Staff was friendly, food was good and before we left they had a live band playing. If you're in the area and want to have a good time with friends, please stop by!

Tried their special Thanksgiving dinner menu for the first time. Service was a little slow in the beginning but it was worth the wait. Good portions & good prices, food was very good. We had to take part of our dinner & dessert home to finish & enjoy later. She had the turkey meal(obviously) & I tried the rack of lamb...both very good & tasty. Btw, it was a 5 course meal with choice of appetizer, soup, salad, choice of entree, choice of dessert with coffee or tea.
