Located in the heart of Little Italy and surrounded by competition; Zia’s sets itself apart from it’s surroundings. Staff is excellent, cuisine is world class, and you have a great view of the Empire State Building from your patio seat. The most amazing service and the BEST food!! You have to come here if you want real authentic Italian food and service. Our server was AMAZING!!!<br>The truffle pasta special was SO GOOD!!!<br>Y’all — RUN TO THIS PLACE, it’s so good!

On a short trip to NY, I really wanted to have authentic, fresh, homemade gnocchi. I found Zia Maria. I came by myself on a busy evening. The wait was longer than I hoped but they were able to accommodate me as most spots were already reserved. The owner and staff were polite and welcoming. They have a nice selection of drinks and food. I ordred gnocchi with pesto. And added chicken. The chicken was very minimal. I'd skip it next time, for the $7 or $9 upcharge. However the dish was delicious. The only flaw was the portion wasnt that big. I should have had a appetizer to finish the job.

The manager Granite (pictured on right) and his staff are top shelf! Enjoyed lunch on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Perfect weather. Chose to eat outside and they provide plenty of umbrella coverage. Enjoyed the service and the food is DELICIOUS! The Tomahawk steak with pasta was epic. I will come again. Fans from San Antonio, Texas.

Good experience but not great. The pasta was the best part with a hearty amount of meat for the bolognese and a surprisingly satisfying lobster ravioli. However, the pre-meal bread served made me concerned about the quality of the meal we were about to have and the cocktail was nothing special. Best part of the dining room itself were the heaters on a chilly April evening

Delicious food in a tastefully decorated environment. Attentive waitstaff and clean bathroom. There are about five beers on tap. The desserts are exquisite. Midday midweek walk-in for 5pax possible at time of review.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. They prepared the pasta in the cheese wheel right in front of us, and it was absolutely one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. Their portions are well balanced, and the seafood pasta was even better than I had anticipated. They generously portioned the seafood, which was a pleasant surprise.

Where do I start? First off service was great, every staff member involved made sure our party was taken care of and our needs were met. Secondly, the food is to die for. The chefs came out to our outside table to serve our special pasta which was cooked in a parm wheel. Apps were great and dessert too! Thank you all so much!

I ordered from them via uber eats and had to come here at the restaurant because of how good the food was. Everyone here is so attentive, especially Verano, what a good talk we had with him. I recommend the Alfredo pasta or the vodka pasta with the crispy chicken, it’s insanity good, their chicken is crispy and thin and their mozzarella is homemade, delicious. 100000000000% recommend this place.

We came here a party of five and had dinner. Our servant was really kind, and he find us a table very quickly even though the restaurant was full and we had no reservation. The food was very delicious, and we enjoyed all dishes we took, the Lasagna, the Gnocchi, and also the Tiramisu. Very tasty. I took down one star, because of the price. The restaurant is very pricey. On top of the food price, they added an 18% gratitude fee, and a convinience fee of 3%. When I asked about it, they said that they added 18% automatically because we are five, and an additional 3% because we pay with card. So a dinner for five costed us $333,which is very pricey for my taste.

This was our 2nd time for 2 of us and new for the other 2. We specifically came back as one was dreaming of their lobster ravioli from 10 months ago. She said it matched expectations and wished we could come more often. We are from out of town. The truffle mushroom risotto was outstanding as well as the chicken francese.

We were seated and had our orders taken immediately. Place was fully packed so we were a bit cramped. The food arrived promptly and was fresh and delicious, pasta was homemade and lobster ravioli was geniuine. I am deducting a star from a five star review as waiter that took our payment didn’t say anything after we paid and tipped, no thank you or have a good night nor asked if we wanted a receipt. Rest of the staff was polite and helpful.

Probably the best food I have ever put in my mouth!! And that's coming from a southern country boy that likes his southern comfort food! We ate here on our NYC trip and it was so good we came back a 2nd time before the trip was over!! Best lobster ravioli and lasagna ever, hands down!! Don't know how often I will find myself in NYC but if I do, this will always be a stop on our list!!

Had such a wonderful experience!!!! I came here because of the high reviews and now I understand why is the highest rated Italian restaurant in Little Italy. I got the pasta prepared in the Parmesan cheese wheel, made in front of the table with black truffle sprinkled on top. It was mind blowing. Silky, velvety, delicious. The Bolognese is very light, the chicken Maria was excellent including the veal Parmesan. Highly recommend! Staff was extremely friendly and drinks are very generous!

Late review<br>We visited this place in july and when we arrived it wasnt that crowded it was during brunch, i didnt get to see the bathroom as i usually do.<br><br>But we had brunch and the staff were nice, our waiter was helpful and accommodating with our questions<br><br>We had calamari, meat balls (all beef), and lasagna.<br><br>Love their booth and its family friendly<br><br>My daughter enjoyed their complimentary bread.
