Zen Ramen & Sushi

Zen Ramen & Sushi exceeded our expectations! The Salmon Bento Box was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.<br><br>Anna was extremely friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the visit. Every dish arrived quickly and tasted amazing.

Everyone was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. Great spot for a casual dinner in Manhattan definitely coming back!

We absolutely loved the food here. The ramen hits the spot especially when you’re craving. If you like spicy, then I’d recommend the spicy ramen options. Staff was also very attentive and kind the entire time. My wife and I would definitely come back! Lots of seating area so you don’t feel crowded.

10/10 BEST ramen in NYC. I would travel from another state to come here!! I get the same thing every time, the spicy tonkatsu ramen and it NEVER disappoints. They’ve opened up a new area upstairs allowing for more space making the environment even more pleasurable. I love it here!

A fantastic spot in the heart of Midtown! The ramen broth is rich and deeply flavorful, and the sushi is fresh and beautifully presented. Love that you can get both in one place without sacrificing quality on either. The staff is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed — great for a lunch break or a casual dinner. Prices are fair for the area. Highly recommend the spicy ramen and the specialty rolls. Will definitely be back!

Excellent ramen spot! Food is delicious and Cania was incredibly helpful when we had questions about some of the Japanese soft drinks. Was a little warm upstairs not sure if thats normal as it’s our first time but even with that we plan to come back!

Zen Ramen & Sushi was such an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sushi was incredible, and everything tasted high quality and flavorful.<br><br>The service was honestly one of the best parts of the experience. My server was so kind, gentle, and patient with me while I was deciding what to order from the menu. I never felt rushed, and they made me feel very comfortable and welcomed.<br><br>I also loved that they offer a free one appetizer per table when spending over $35, plus a free matcha ice cream or drink, which made the experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers and want people to leave happy.<br><br>I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again whenever I’m in the area. I highly recommend everyone visit at least once in their lifetime. Such a lovely spot with amazing food and wonderful hospitality!

I ordered the three-roll lunch special at Zen Ramen and Sushi and had a great experience from start to finish. I went with the shrimp tempura roll and the eel roll, and chose the miso soup as my side. Everything was delicious and filling.<br><br>The service really stood out as well. The staff who greeted me were warm and welcoming, and my server, Cania, was excellent. She took the time to clearly explain how the lunch special worked and gave thoughtful recommendations based on my preference to avoid raw sushi. Her guidance made it easy to choose rolls I ended up really enjoying. She was exceptionally friendly and professional.<br><br>Overall, it was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back again.

This was my first time having Ramen & I immensely enjoyed it!! The service was great and the food came quickly. The teas were really good, but I also ordered a long Island iced tea that was good as well. It wasn't overbearing. The Ramen was delicious and the chicken were nice & crispy. I would highly recommend coming here to eat.

Good sushi. I got the Bonsai Tree Special Roll (that might be wrong idk if it said tree but it said Bonsai for sure lol) as well as the two roll and miso soup lunch deal. The miso soup was slightly sweet and had a deeper earthy taste than most other miso soup I’ve have and very little seaweed and tofu. I wouldn’t get the miso soup again. Hot green tea was good, not sure if it was complimentary or they forgot to add it. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon have some tempura flakes mixed in but not overpowering. You could taste the fish and seasoning well. The special roll was very tasty and fresh, would order again. Service was great, their bathrooms are clean and well functioning, and I like that it wasn’t too crowded during lunch. It’s a chill spot, didn’t get to try the ramen but maybe next time. Total on card was $38 it’s a bit cheaper with cash. Everyone has a fav sushi spot, this isn’t my fav but it’s pretty good and the price is not bad either.

I always enjoying here for their lunch specials during the week. Everything is fresh and good serving size for the price. Today I passed by to dine in for the first time and it was a great experience as well. Friendly staff and our food came out fast too. I would recommend passing by when you can.

Absolutely never fails to impress me. The ramen flavors are fresh and perfectly umami. The prices are incredibly modest, especially given its location - central to a lot. I might get on a weekend train just to get lunch or dinner here without any other reason to hit the city. Oh - and the sushi is just as good. Date night under $100 with a full belly from all courses is unreal.

Walking around mid town looking for a decent ramen spot and found this gem. Reasonably priced, great selection of both sushi and ramen. They have the cheapest happy hour as well. A must try.
