The food and the service was top tier. Our waitress Mrs. Cathy was so kind and very attentive. The atmosphere was great and the brunch was even better.

I ordered pancakes and sausage and a sprite. I received one serving of syrup for 3 pancakes. The server never came back for me to request additional syrup. As I reached the bottom of my pancakes, there was a huge piece of hair on the plate. When the waitress finally came back to the table I showed the hair to her and asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and said, " I don't think that's hair."I said that is hair. Then she asked if the pancakes were good. I did not respond. Then she asked if I wanted her to take the pancakes off my bill. Ya, think!!!

Really impressed, and I'm a breakfast diva.

We waited less than 10 minutes for a table for 4 in the middle of brunch rush. The positive energy the staff brings is exactly what we needed to start a packed day of walking and sightseeing.

Boozy coffee and hot chocolate for Mom and Dad, Milkshakes for the kids. Food portions were the size of a jet ski. I didn't expect there to be so many good choices for breakfast/brunch in this neighborhood, and was really pleasantly surprised.

And only about 25% more than bringing the family to our townie diner at home.

We had a wonderful dining experience. We started with eggs Benedict with salmon — absolutely delicious — followed by perfectly cooked fried salmon with creamy mashed potatoes. We also tried the omelets, along with coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos. Everything was exceptionally tasty.

The portions are very generous — truly filling, to the point that we felt satisfied for almost the entire day. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The restaurant is very clean, the water is crystal clear, and the service is impeccable. Plates are cleared promptly, even while you are still dining, without being intrusive.

Overall, everything is done at a very high level. We will definitely be happy to return.

Had the cheesesteak eggs benedict which was on their seasonal menu, very tasty and the portions were excellent. Make sure you get here early on the weekends to beat the line, was about a 10-15 minute wait at around 10:30 on a Sunday morning. Would revisit to try more things off the menu

This is not your ordinary diner. When you walk in you’re warmly greeted with a smile. As I was being escorted to a booth I noticed how light and spacious the diner felt. It is tastefully decorated ahead of the holidays. From my booth I noticed two televisions featuring different stations, but neither competing for sound over the other. After seating, I was given enough time to look over the menu. The timing to order and needs while eating were anticipated — you can’t teach anticipation nor top-notch service. I ordered the French Toast with a side of Canadian Bacon and Scrambled Eggs with Cheese. As much as I wanted to eat all of my tasty breakfast I could not eat all of the French Toast. Be aware the portions are ample for the price you pay.

Service was good, but food was mediocre. We ordered a crab cake egg benedict, expecting that the poached eggs on top would be runny and soft, but it came with an almost well done egg. The crab cakes were just green & red pepper cakes. It did not worth the cost to upgrade your Benedict.

The French toast was not bad as the syrup was nice.

Regular coffee was regular.

This place is well run ship; nice and clean - staff is friendly and anticipates your needs. Their manager Tanya walks the floor and pay attention to every table and makes things run smooth. They serve breakfast late, which worked out great for us as we travelled with a teenager 😂… we ate here twice, first day I had a traditional breakfast, second time I had a Maryland crab cake without a bun; both were great!
I would come here again!

Response from the owner

It's awesome to hear that you appreciated the late breakfast service. We are glad you enjoyed both your traditional breakfast and the Maryland crab cake. We can't wait to have you back. Connect with us on Instagram! @zaza.greenwich

Zara’s on Greenwich St is always a go-to spot for me whenever I’m in New York City. I’ve had breakfast here multiple times, and it never disappoints—good food, consistent quality, every single visit. I honestly haven’t come across anything on the menu I didn’t enjoy.

The staff runs a tight ship—courteous, quick, and efficient, which makes the whole experience smooth. The menu itself is huge, so no matter what you’re in the mood for, you’ll find something. The place is also kept spotless, and you can tell they take pride in it—just check out how clean their restrooms are.

Portions here are generous, so you won’t be leaving hungry. And the coffee? Easily some of the strongest I’ve ever had—exactly how I like it in the morning. I haven’t tried lunch or dinner yet, but judging by the menu, I’d bet they’re just as solid.

Location is also a plus—it’s just steps from the World Trade Center. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Response from the owner

Thanks for the amazing feedback, Vee! We're happy you love our breakfast and coffee as much as we do. Can't wait for you to try lunch or dinner next time. Connect with us on Instagram! @zaza.greenwich

It's my first time in New York. I had dinner here because Zaza is the nickname of my younger sister. I ordered calamari and fries. The fries were good, but they needed salt. The calamari was horrible. Very gummy, filled, thinly-breaded, and not crispy at all. Every plate of calamari I've ever had is good, so I was absolutely astonished when presented with the awful fact of calamari being able to taste so bad and/or bland. The service was good! The staff were very friendly, but rarely came to the table. The building is interesting; I've never seen somewhere have a whole downstairs area just for the bathroom. Now, onto the dessert. I ordered a brownie. It was okay, but it had nuts in it. I don't like nuts in my brownies. The dish was slightly tasteless, but it might just be my tastebuds. The friendly staff member said he warmed it up, but it wasn't too warm. Go here if you want. Ignore the items next to the food; that is my favorite character and I enjoy taking pictures of my food with her.

Response from the owner

Hello, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're really sorry to hear that the calamari didn’t meet your expectations, rest assured it's usually a hit. It’s great to know you enjoyed the fries and found our staff to be friendly. Your feedback about the brownie is noted—everyone has different tastes, and it sounds like we missed the mark for you this time. We appreciate your input and hope you'll give us another shot if you're ever back in town!

The restaurant was spacious, and they had great selection of pastries.
We got two benedict eggs, one with salmon and the classic one. The home fries were good but the eggs and the sauce were soso. One of them was served cold, which was very disapointing. Also they took time to refill our glass of water. It was just okay overall.
I don’t know if I will go back again.

Response from the owner

Stumbled on a new staple! Walking by, decided to stop randomly. Had the steak salad with a boiled egg and it was fantastic. I normally don't like blue cheese but it was so well balanced and flavorful. great choices were made!

the spicy margarita with tajin and olive was delicious, not too strong and so well balanced. 10/10

the strawberry cheesecake martini had a milky, sweet flavor. they really nailed the strawberry flavor! 9/10, Slightly more foam than drink to me.

will be back!

Response from the owner

Love the service and the atmosphere of this diner. Bright and clean with comfortable booths for 4. The waitress was very friendly and responsive with suggestions.

I loved the Italian sausage with the breakfast and the French toast was really fluffy and soft but lacked egg. Pancakes and waffles were great.

Today we stopped into Zazas and it was hands down one of the best cafes I have ever been to! The atmosphere is clean, and the decor is beautiful. We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we entered, and were sat in no time! I got a breakfast sandwich and my husband got an omelet. To finish we had to try their beautiful desserts and we were not disappointed! The food was outstanding! Our server Cathy provided amazing service! I would HIGHLY recommend!
