This is the second time I have bought fresh branzino from this location and ended up throwing it away as soon as I got home. The fish is just not cleaned well enough, and it is not worth the risk. I would never buy fresh fish from this location ever again. A total waste of my time and money.

Absolutely love this place! The selection of fresh produce and unique organic products is fantastic, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. It's my go-to spot for quality groceries and delicious prepared meals!

Thanks for the fantastic review, Daniel. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we cannot wait to make your next visit another 5-star experience.
Bakery doing some shady business. There are two types of croissant being sold- the fresh one in the glass cabinet and the pre packed one. The pre packed one is $7.5 ish per box for 4 croissant, tasting chemical and more like a bread than croissant, and the fresh one in the glass cabinet is buttery and flaky, similar, and sometimes of the equivalent quality of a croissant you would find in a French bakery. Now, it has happened more than twice in the last months that they put the pre packed croissant in the glass cabinet selling it with the price of a fresh one. I find this conduct to be…you name it!
This store opens at 7:00 am, but when I tried to return a glass bottle of Brookstone Chocolate Milk for the $2.00 deposit at 7:30 am, the employee at the Customer Service told me to wait until 8:00 am. My shopping cart was full, I had done all of my shopping, so I wanted to return the bottle and go to the cashier to pay and leave. She refused to do it, by saying that I had to wait until 8:00 am. I waited until 7:55 am, and she still would not take it, so I asked for the Manager who confirmed that the Customer Service does not take bottles before 8:00 am. I am questioning that policy. The customer service is open, so there should be full services. I am a. long term customer, go there to do all my shopping every week. I also shop at Trader Joe's, and I have to say that all employees treat their customers with respect and provide much better service.
Friendly staff, cashiers always nice, patient, a pleasant atmosphere overall with great fresh produce and good sales— especially for Amazon Prime members. A too tempting array of bakery products, a section for vitamins and health products, a hot food bar and a cafe area where you can eat it or just stop to eat the yogurt you just bought. A Prime pick-up station, and a great, reliable delivery service!!

I am only giving this two stars because I come here almost every day and have been treated wonderfully by staff and really like this location. Today, however, 11/30/25 around 1:30pm, I was in the check out line and had a disappointing interaction. I often get a large soup to start my day off with, and my 3 year old has started to love it too. She was really sick since last night, so neither of us got any sleep. I went to get us soup, a big one for me and a small one for her. I went to self check-out, which was full, and saw the worker taking care of everyone. I found it odd, then, as to why she was hovering behind me the entire time I was there. It was uncomfortable. I didn’t see her doing the same with other guests when I approached, so I felt like I was being watched. Due to this and the exhaustion, I forgot to scan my soup after scanning my daughter’s and my in-store code. Since she was eyeing me like a hawk, she of course came up to me before I could grab my receipt and very accusingly asks “can I see your receipt” and starts looking into my bag. Before I say yes and as I grab the receipt, she ripped it from my hands and says “you have a small soup” and I responded “yes, and I large one as well” because I fully thought I had scanned it. She very rudely goes “no you don’t!” I apologized, started to explain that I didn’t realize, but was met with a rolling of the eyes, a headshake, and her immediately walking away from me. I scanned the large soup, paid for it, and went up to her to show the receipt. When I showed that I paid for the large soup, she just shook her head and waved me off. I tried to make it right, but left feeling awful. I work in the service industry so I get it, but considering I spend my money here almost every day and I am always treated very nicely by staff, I was really taken aback and just generally felt really uncomfortable. If that’s how an small honest mistake is treated, I’m really worried to see what happens when an actual issue or emergency is handled. I think that’s enough soup for me and my kid this season.
Belinda was a great help at customer service she quickly identified the problem and provided outstanding service to get to a solution. Thank you so much Belinda and the Whole Foods team Will definitely continue shopping here thanks to the outstanding staff!

I had a disturbing experience with a female security contractor at this Whole Foods. During a conversation, she mocked my accent verbatim, made a racist comment about my supposed ethnic origin, and told me to “go shop in Chinatown instead.” She then asserted that everything in the store “belongs to her,” using that as justification for rude and intimidating behavior.

This is unacceptable at any retailer, especially one that claims to value inclusion. I’m asking management to review the relevant camera footage, address the contractor’s behavior with her employer, and ensure all staff and third-party personnel receive training on anti-harassment and anti-discrimination. I’d also appreciate a follow-up from the store manager regarding what corrective actions will be taken.

She is unprofessional and unethical.
Beware that their Organic Triple Washed Baby Spinach in large plastic container has still dirt on the leaves. If you still eat them, wash throughly yourself.

That's certainly not the experience we wanted you to have. When you get a chance, please reach out to us directly at http://wfm.com/help with any additional details. We'd love to look into this further.
Used to go there all the time. But they changed the policy on beer purchases. Now even obviously senior citizens are required to show ID when buying beer, not just required to enter their birthday into terminal.
Apart from being a further step toward societal infantilization, it is worth knowing that the policy does not apply to the WF wine store NEXT DOOR, nor have I ever seen any weed smokers outside the store--many of them obviously under age--to move away.
Fortunately the neighborhood doesn't lack alternatives with saner policy.
I enjoy this grocery store as an option in our neighborhood. Their produce is excellent. Their variety in prepared foods, cheese and frozen foods is the best in this whole neighborhood I think. It beats Key Food and Trader Joe’s by miles. I enjoy the self serve food bars, these I do find pricey but sometimes I need the convenience. Their produce store also has a nice vibe to it and their self care section is quite good.

Thanks for stopping by, Jesse! We appreciate the 5-star review and hope to see you again soon.
Perfectly stocked over two floors. Had everything I needed. Check out staff were helpful in suggesting I join Amazon Prime to receive a discount on several of the items purchased. Customer Service did what she thought was best not what I requested. Apologized and asked if I’d mind leaving what she’d done. I will go back as it’s near TJ Maxx and a Duane Reade. Also Home Goods. The fresh fruit was still good as I visited late near closing time. Loses a star as the security guard was smoking outside the entrance so I had to walk through the smoke to get into the store. Store was moderately clean. Fast and efficient. Staff. Shout out to ENMANUEL - helped me find a few items and a new alternative to one no longer sold. Polite and had a lovely welcoming smile. Offered to check for a different size but it was closing so I just bought the smaller one as I’ll return soon.
Sorry about the random item photos! I’m British and we don’t have as good a selection!

A very large supermarket serving the Upper Westside, with very fully stocked shelves and slightly higher prices. They also had free shrimp samples

As an Amazon Prime Member, I usually get delivery. However, I decided to go on a Sun morning and had the worst experience with the Customer Service Rep. After checking out, I noticed that the cheese and cookies that were supposed to on sale rung up at full price. I sent to the Customer Service desk to ask why and she said that the sale had ended on 3/5 the cheese and that the cookies were not on sale. See the photo showing the sale sign still on display on 3/9. It’s misleading to the customer. In order to access the cheese to return it, I had to remove the items on top and place them on the counter. She kept asking if I’m also returning those items as if I purposely waste my time to buy and return. I them went back to take a picture of the sale sign for the cookies and it turns out that they were in the wrong spot. I returned them and purchased the same ones that were on sale and when she dis the exchange, I asked if I should reenter my Prime number to which she responded no. Of course, as I’m checking the receipt when I’m walking out I noticed that I wasn’t given the 10% prime discount and had to go back again. When I told her that I didn’t get the discount, she said oh that was on sale. This woman should not be working in Customer Service!
