Ive been in the Emporium on Park Ave South , Wegmans of Fort Greene, but this is one of the cleanest supermarkets I've been in and I've lived in NYC all my life. I used to shop at Key Food on 5th Ave near Baltic St, but nothing tops Western Beef for quality produce, meat, deli items and variety.

Oh wow!!<br>Great store... LOTS and LOTS .... huge variety of everything...<br>And Pernil was only $1.49 lb!! & A 20lb bag of rice .... was $6.99!!<br>Yum!!

My family and I have been going to this supermarket for years, and it’s always a bad experience in the deli. Horrible customer service in the deli department; if the manager doesn’t provide good service, the employees certainly won’t! I went with my husband to do our monthly shopping, and when we got to the deli, I was attended by the so-called manager, I think her name is “ERIKA.” I asked because the customer service was horrible; & this isn’t the first time!! She is always talking on the phone and doesn’t pay attention when ordering the cold cuts.<br><br>Poor communication<br>Disrespectful<br>Western beef needs to do better when it comes to managers and staff.<br>I know that everybody needs the job, but we are the customers & deserve a good service.<br><br>Cashier sometimes they’re a little bit slow, but they’re good. I love the supermarket, but my experience in the deli was super bad and I’m not going bad till they change the manager or she learns how to deal with customers.

I love to buy the fresh homemade bread omg is so soft and hot yummy recommend 💯 the staff is very nice

Trash meat was old I would check labels and freshness on everything before eating anything in thos place in looks expired

Western Beef is my go-to supermarket, and I love shopping here every month. Their meat selection is fantastic — they have a wide variety of cuts, all of which are always fresh and great quality. Whether I’m picking up beef, chicken, or pork, I can count on the quality to be top-notch.<br><br>What I really appreciate is their selection of Latin products. As someone who loves cooking traditional dishes, it’s great to be able to find all the ingredients I need, from spices to snacks. It feels like a home away from home!<br><br>Overall, I’m really happy with my experience here. The variety, quality of the meat, and the ability to find my favorite Latin products make Western Beef stand out. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local supermarket!

This location has great prices and deals. They also have a wide array of groceries and other items. Each time I've shopped here, it was not too crowded. Highly recommend shopping here. Hours are Monday - Saturday 7am-10pm. And Sunday 7am-9pm.<br>**Photo by Jeffrey E.**

Clean, stopped going the prices higher than the supermarket I go to. Customer service sucks when it comes to cashiers and managers, only 1 percent has said thank you or hello. Who trained them? Sorry customer service is the first thing I look for after cleanliness and price in a supermarket. Plus this bait and switch has to stop. One price on the isle but check your receipts

Have been coming here for 10 yrs and it’s always the same problem. They never have prices as advertised. It’s always an issue. When ask for management they are always the manager and no one else available. It’s very frustrating when you pick an item and then at the register it’s not the price advertised. This place need better management and organization. These glove show $3.99 and in the register it was $10.99. Big difference and refused adjustments. I prefer to walk 10 blocks and not come back

Come constantly to this Western Beef location only to notice that the people do care about the environment regarding recycling their Bottles, Cans, Plastic Bottles and for this Supermarket to make excuses every single day regarding fixing the Recycling Machines or Emptying the Bins. Not only just for that but the guy that supposedly is in charge of doing this job always has and attitude problem and really doesn’t care he either doesn’t get the machines operational he doesn’t want to open the gates to recycle the people and I know they get a check to have these machines working that on occasions he closes the area to avoid servicing the machines. These Photos show that they don’t service them and every day this is what happens.

I love this supermarket and this is the first time I got bad experience with one of the food I bought. The date was good til 2023 but inside the box was a different story. All the White Castle burgers inside had mold. It was so nasty to look at I took a picture of one. All the burgers was the same it was disgusting….

Beware...I've been shopping here for years, most of the time it's a great experience. But today I realized I bought bacon that expired nearly a month ago. I guess I should have looked a little closer, they're all probably expired. Maybe if bacon fresh bacon wasn't 7.99 a package, you wouldn't have to package so many at 3 for $10 because they didn't sell. Not Good... two weeks later we pull another package of meat out of the freezer and it was bad.

Love this supermarket! They have a great selection for beefs and I love that they have a Boost Mobile store here now. I paid my bill upgraded and added a line and got a free LG Stylo 4. Very helpful here

This is my first time here since the pathmark closed down a few years ago. When I went in it seems small but looks can be deceiving. It's a very large supermarket where you can get all your meats and other goods. It's close to the neighborhood and just off the highway. It's nice and clean and the the workers are helpful and attentive. I look forward to doing more of my shopping here in the future.
