I am extremely disappointed with Wegmans. The staff here completely ignore basic customer service standards and show no respect or courtesy toward customers. Interacting with employees feels like a constant struggle, and you can forget about receiving even a simple “hello” or friendly attitude. The products themselves are often low-quality, some even appear to be cheap copies, and the overall store management is chaotic. It’s clear that managers and several staff members need to be replaced immediately, because the way this store is run is unacceptable.

I have personally stopped shopping here for over six months, and I will continue to avoid it. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this store to anyone. If you expect decent service, quality products, or even basic professionalism, look elsewhere. Wegmans has failed miserably on all fronts.

I had a great experience shopping at Wegmans. The store is exceptionally clean, well-organized, and offers a wide variety of high-quality products.

The selection of fresh produce, prepared foods, and everyday groceries is impressive. Everything feels carefully stocked and maintained, which makes shopping very pleasant and efficient.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist when needed. Even during busy times, the service remains smooth and well-managed.

Overall, Wegmans provides a consistently excellent shopping experience, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality groceries and great service.
It's a pretty big store with a wide variety of items. The prices are above average. While I was there, I ordered a slice of pizza and it was a bit below average. They had some good spices and I bought some pizza dough and few different types of burritos. They have a pretty big parking lot and its a non-stressful shopping experience.
Wegmans is easily one of the best grocery store experiences out there. It’s not just a place to shop — it feels like a full-service food destination. Everything from the layout to the product selection is designed to make the experience smooth and enjoyable.

The quality of their food is top-tier. Produce is always fresh, the meat and seafood sections are well-maintained, and their prepared foods are on another level. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or planning a full meal, you’ll find high-quality options across the board.

What really sets Wegmans apart is the variety. They have everything — everyday essentials, specialty items, international foods, and premium options all in one place. It saves you from having to go to multiple stores.

The store itself is clean, organized, and easy to navigate despite its size. Staff are consistently helpful and professional, and you can tell there’s a strong focus on customer experience.

It’s one of the few grocery stores where you actually don’t mind spending time shopping. Everything feels elevated without being overpriced for what you’re getting.

Overall, Wegmans sets the standard for what a grocery store should be. High quality, great selection, and an overall experience that keeps you coming back.
Best supermarket in Brooklyn. Huge and decent, and free car park outside. Particularly like the yogurt session.
Entire time during checkout, the cashier literally had back to me while chatting with her friends and other register about her nursing major. Probably the top 3 worst customer interactions, (if one can call it that) ever in my life. Why bother with putting people at the register at all and self checkout the whole damn thing? It’s a shame because customer service else where In the store is pretty good.
I order deliveries from this store all the time and love the produce overall. The only issue I have is that bagged lemons are hit or miss every time. The last two times I got moldy lemons. I hope Wegmans staff start checking them more often.
Great store, with a very friendly helpful staff. Found everything I needed in there. I really like how they take care of their food and package it, they do I very professionally and ensures it will stay fresh the longest it can
$350+ worth of groceries, surly female check out person didn't help bag our groceries, I was left to deal with trying to bag them all myself and pay at the same time. Then she didn't wait until all my paid items were bagged before she started throwing the next customers groceries on top of mine. Should've gone to Trader Joe's, which is less expensive and the cashiers are way nicer and expertly bag your groceries!!!
A Ten-Star Rave for Wegman’s Food Store!
If I could only give this place 10-Plus Stars I would!
This place is phenomenal! Wegman's is the King & Queen of Food Grocers here in New York City! I give Wegmans an AAAAA+++++ when it comes to their quality and selection in the Meat section!

Wegman’s Food Store deserves every bit of praise for their incredible selection and prices that are more than affordable for every New Yorker. Whether you’re part of the working class or the middle class, you can easily take home healthy, authentic organic groceries from Wegman’s!

I must highlight the fantastic hospitality from the employees—they were exceptionally friendly, outgoing, and incredibly helpful.

I was even happier to discover that membership is free and that they offer grocery delivery at no extra cost. Plus, their prices remain the same whether you're shopping in person or online, unlike big chains like BJ’s and Costco, which often charge more for online orders, regardless of whether you’re using Instacart.

Wegman’s boasts an impressive assortment of fresh baked goods, breads, cookies, cakes, and mouthwatering lavishing pastries that will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. Pure decadence folks!

I strongly recommend shopping at Wegman’s, where you’ll find fair prices, like a dozen eggs as low as $2.99, oh yeah! without the worry of “price gouging.” Unlike other stores such as Food Town, C-Town, Key Foods, Fairway, Stop & Shop, Wholesome Farms Market, Whole Foods, and West Side Market.

Wegman’s truly stands out! If you're in the business of getting more bang for your bucks come here you will be a happier customer hands down!!!!
I love their coffee. Prices not so cheap. Foods' displays are so tasty with all these cheese plates and other. I wanna buy all. Here is so beautiful and nice atmosphere. Staff is professional and caring!
in concert with changing the store layout in March/April of 2025 to a completely nonsensical order, the experience here has been vastly diminished.

new layout is very much giving 'recent MBA asks chatgpt to design an optimal layout'

there are still massive blanks in the freezer section and all the special diet frozen foods are moved to little dingy bodega freezers, the alcohol is now in the farthest, darkest corner with most of the items stacked unrefrigerated in cramped piles.

at the corporate level, it seems massive swaths of vegan options were quietly discontinued including the Wegmans brand plant cheese and meat options, while at this store they've randomly distributed the vegan options to separate and still mislabeled sections.

the produce here has never been top tier, either for price or quality but the draw was definitely the standard, well stocked supermarket experience with well priced quality store brand options; but with local management regressing into a cramped and random layout and corporate discontinuing items that seemed to be popular enough they'd be out of stock by late evenings on the weekends I've begun to rely far less on Wegmans for my grocery rotations.

unclear who/what the change was in early 2025 but it's time to undo it - just literally put things back where they were and if products are to be discontinued at least have the courtesy of putting up a notice
1st time Wegman shopper and pleasantly surprised at the great variety. I'll definitely stop in when nearby. Lots of options and great quantities.

Price is in line with what you would get from Trader Joe's or Aldi for the most part, at least based on the purchases I made. If I had more time I would have explored more of the warehouse sized grocery store...most grocery stores are a fraction of the size.
Ruined by hoards of instacart shoppers frantically dashing around everywhere creating a less than pleasant atmosphere and limited or no stock in many places.

Meat and cheese selection was solid and I’ve given a star back to them in my review score for the cart wipes at the entrance. Clean throughout the whole store, so credit where it’s due.
The best local option for food shopping by far.
The choice is fantastic, there are many items within each category to choose from, and lots of amazing surprises too - the live lobster tank, dry aged beef cuts, the oyster selection, to name a few. Love it here.
You also get a great selection of food to go - there's an Asian bar, wings and fries, soups, sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot chicken, sushi, and ready meals. You can take it upstairs and sit in Comfort to eat, too - the seating area is large and there's sofas as well as proper dining tables. Cutlery is downstairs, sauces and napkins upstairs, as well as toilets
