The chicken and rice portions are generous, and the curry tastes good. However, they only include one chunk of potato and one chunk of carrot, which feels skimpy for a curry dish. Since those ingredients are inexpensive and essential to the flavor profile, the lack of them throws off the overall balance of the meal.

Salmon onigiri not fresh and mostly just rice with no salmon. Sushi was overcooked and gummy, forming a solid block of mush.

Caught myself grinning after digging into the Chicken Katsu Curry Bento. Wasabi Sushi & Bento nailed the savory, tender chicken with perfectly crispy coating—paired with hearty rice and vegetable curry, it’s wild how satisfying it was! Appreciate the MealPal find.

I’m a big fan of this place, but the last couple of times the rice was a little different… dry and harder, I hope the quality of the food is not changing.

To be honest the flavor taste so off to be a "Japanese" cuisine. The flavor is so disgusting even for a simple onigiri where the basic and natural flavors and ingredients that's supposed to be the star of an onigiri is gone leaving it a weird and not really good seasoning. Also I tried the chicken katsu, the sauce also have a really weird flavor (better to avoid it) and is too much rice for a few pieces of chicken. Price is not bad at all and the customer service was ok. But really the food taste is disgusting and doesn't leave me with a good after taste

What a saviour this place has been! The sushi, seaweed soup and the bento boxes have been just hitting out of the park.
Their Katsu rice and Teriyaki dishes have been smashing. Its fun to take the window seating and do some people watching while you enjoy your food.

Wasabi Sushi & Bento Times Square offers quick, tasty sushi with a variety of options. The grab-and-go concept is perfect for busy tourists. Fresh ingredients and good flavors, though portions are a bit small for the price. Clean space and fast service make it a solid choice for a quick sushi fix.

Tried Wasabi sushi today for my review. They had a big selection of cold & hot food. I went with the rainbow box, it seemed like the best bang for your buck. The place is well lit, clean, and very spacious. Defined one of the better food deals you can get in times sq. Ran me a light $18.

To be honest I’ve always loved wasabi. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and a gyudon bowl. both were very delicious. it’s very convenient to grab a meal and go and the cashier and workers are nice to you. there is also a bathroom here but you need the code for it. overall great place!

The sushi was okay, nothing special. The egg sandwich was disappointing though, tasted sweet for some reason? Not worth the price. The workers in the front were very nice, shout out to them. In general I’ve had better sushi, I don’t really recommend this place unless you’re desperate.

Just what I needed on this rainy November (2019) day! Everything was delicious. Warm food was warm and sushi was in the refrigerated case.
Will definitely come back again. The only drawback was that their bathrooms were out of service.
Revisited July 2024. Food was hot and fresh.

The location is perfect to visit after sightseeing around time Square. We were so tired and hungry at 10pm. So we didn't expect that light Japanese food at time Square. You can try sushi and soup. You will love edamame and miss soup.

Honestly, my wife and I were walking near Times Square and happened upon this location. It's very spacious on the indoors and has a clean, modern aesthetic. The sushi is fresh and made daily and the service is nice. The prices are good for the location and the food tastes good. Would recommend.

Perfect place for a quick bite or dinner with healthy, tasty food!)) also they have a great bubble tea. Choose a coffee flavor. It’s the best one!) staff is not so friendly. Price for the plate is about $6-$12. Often crowded but you’ll find a table. Chicken teriyaki is awesome 👏🏻
