Found out that Elvis stayed here. Visited his room and got to recreate a famous photo of him entering the building. That was good enough got me.<br><br>That said, the staff were really helpful. The location is perfect. It was affordable but gave a taste of luxury and history. We could not fault it. Close to all the sights and didn't cost the earth. The gym was good too, as I used that once or twice. Perfect place to stay in Manhattan.

Great hotel to stay at where many famous people have stayed and holds a great amount of history. Great location providing easy access to everything you would want to experience in NYC! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were very friendly and if youre looking for a place to stay, this hotel is a great one!

I stayed at Warwick New York for 9 nights, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing overall. The only real positives were the excellent location and the housekeeping team, who did a good job throughout the stay.<br><br>However, there were many issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The elevators were extremely slow and inconvenient. I was given a room with windows facing brick walls and construction, with no natural sunlight at all. On top of that, construction work started at 7 AM during 3 of my 9 nights, which made it impossible to rest properly.<br><br>The rooms feel very old and outdated, and the reception staff came across as apathetic. One of the most shocking experiences was being asked to pay to leave luggage, even after staying there for 9 nights. I even had to pay to leave an item at reception for another guest staying in-house to pick up later the same day. I have honestly never experienced anything like this at any hotel before.<br><br>The TV in the room did not work properly, and even when the AC was turned off, there was constant noise in the room.<br>The water temperature in the shower needs time to be adjusted … eventually you kind of work around it.<br><br>The breakfast experience was also very poor. You have to wait to be seated even when the restaurant is nearly empty, the staff move very slowly, and the quality of the breakfast is low. The breakfast area itself is too small for the size of the hotel, making it extremely noisy and chaotic during busy times.<br>Also, wifi is super slow when it is working.<br><br>Overall, despite the great location, the hotel did not meet expectations and I would not choose to stay here again.

Looking forward to our upcoming stay next week which will be our 4th time. Our last visit in December for Christmas was one of our favorites. The room with a terrace was the size of an apartment, and being NY we never expected so much room. The housekeeping and cleanliness was top notch. The location cannot be beat with such easy walking access to so many other areas. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here in March! I loved the charm of the building with updated and modern touches. We were very comfortable in our room. Obviously, New York city hotel rooms can be small, but it was very well appointed and cozy. We also enjoyed the location! It was very close to Broadway theaters and lots of good restaurants. We did a lot of walking in the area and never felt unsafe. Actually returning in October with my mother. Looking forward to another wonderful visit!

Maybe my experience was unique but the hotel had construction in an adjacent room that hammered, buzz sawed, and worked on metal piping from 8 am until 930 pm. I asked the front desk to rectify it 3 times before asking if another room was available.<br><br>I appreciate how great the front desk manager was - I'm sure he did call the construction guys to ask them to stop but really that shouldn't happen at all. I get that construction needs to happen but it doesn't need to happen through late in the evening.<br><br>The manager was great and said he'd comp my breakfast the next day. A nice gesture. But then the staff failed to actually do that. Again, no one did anything malicious and the staff do try but the staff are about as competent as a 2 or 3 star hotel and not a hotel with this name. Their training department could improve.

Location of hotel is great in midtown if you're going to a broadway show or shopping 5th Avenue. The hotel is another story. The room I was in had a bed so stiff I could barely sleep, it needs to be remodeled. I could hear people in the rooms next door and down the hall at all hours. A service/room changing cart was left outside my room 24/7 which doesn't provide a very elevated hotel experience. I was also charged facility fees by the hotel and the website I used to book hotel (Agoda). The hotel front desk staff told me to request refund from Agoda, while Agoda told me I had to provide copy of hotel invoice showing facility fee charged to my credit card which upon calling hotel front desk after my departure (I had requested copy of invoice at checkout only to get home and see that it wasn't final invoice with proof of payment on it), desk receptionist told me I had to request from hotel's accounts receivable department. I've never had to chase down an invoice from a hotel's AR dept, it's like they have making it difficult on purpose.<br><br>I will say the front desk staff that checked me in were lovely and helpful minus telling me they would charge me facility fee even though I already paid it to Agoda (they told me I had to take it up with Agoda). They also charge $2/item (cash only) for holding your luggage in storage which is just another way to nickel and dime guests for a 3-4 star hotel. I enjoyed my interactions with the friendly doorman.<br><br>There are better places to stay in Midtown for the price. Only stay here if you care about their hey day charm they show with photographs on the walls.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Warwick New York! From the moment we arrived, everything felt smooth, welcoming, and genuinely high-quality.<br><br>The location is simply unbeatable — right in the heart of Manhattan, within easy walking distance of Central Park, Times Square, and countless restaurants and attractions. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient.<br><br>Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a classic New York charm that we really appreciated. The beds were excellent, and after long days in the city, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge.<br><br>What truly stood out, though, was the service. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful — always ready with a smile and great recommendations.<br><br>Overall, the Warwick offers a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and prime location. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York!

We stayed at Warwick New York in a Junior Suite with a King Bed during the holidays, and overall it was a comfortable and well-located stay.<br><br>The suite was spacious, more enough space for 4 extra large suitacases which made a real difference for a winter trip. It felt like such a luxury to step out in the morning for a few hours at The Met, return to the hotel to rest and nap, and then head back out in the evening for Broadway. That flexibility truly elevated our New York experience.<br><br>The location is top notch. Our Christmas dinner at La Grande Boucherie was incredibly easy since it was just a short walk away. On a super windy and freezing Christmas night, that convenience was priceless.<br><br>The hotel itself has a certain old New York charm, which we appreciated. However, there are areas that could be improved, especially considering the holiday rates. Housekeeping could be more consistent. On a few days, the bath mat was missing and the towel setup was incomplete. It wasn’t a major issue, but for the price point, we expected better attention to detail.<br><br>Additionally, the extra bed mattress could use an upgrade to better match the comfort of the main suite.<br><br>We were not expecting The Ritz, but at holiday pricing, a bit more polish in housekeeping and bedding quality would go a long way. That said, the space, charm, and unbeatable location made it a convenient base for a festive New York stay. We wil definitely come back.

I am part of a group that travels to NYC each year since 2021. In the few couple of years we were able to successfully secure a group rate. Last year, despite calling as early as August 2025, the hotel was evasive about giving us a group discount rate. As a result we cancelled our reservation and took our business elsewhere. I received my credit card bill in January 2026 and saw that the hotel charged me over 900. for the cancelled reservation. When I called Lisa Chin and management to inquire about what happened they stated the reservation was not cancelled. I have BOTH phone calls and emails which verify our communication. I have asked for a full refund and still did not receive it. Now when I call I get the runaround and still no answer to the refund. How else does something like this get reported? Has this happened to anyone else? My group and I visited NYC (38 of us) and stayed at the Sheraton New York Times Square and had a great experience.

I highly recommend staying at the Warwick New York Hotel. My friend and I chose Warwick because we genuinely trusted that we would have a wonderful and memorable experience and that is exactly what we received 🤩<br><br>From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations, especially the exceptional level of service. We had the absolute pleasure of interacting with an outstanding team, and in particular with Alain ❤️. Alain is an incredible manager professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. This five-star review is especially dedicated to him, as he supported us during a moment when we truly needed assistance. He handled the situation promptly, efficiently, and with great care, and resolved it in a very short time.<br><br>We are deeply grateful to Alain, as well as to the front desk team, for their professionalism, warmth, and dedication. Their hospitality made our stay truly comfortable and enjoyable. Warwick New York Hotel is a place we would gladly return to and recommend without hesitation.

Really don't understand all the negative reviews on this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. The location is prime, the service and staff were super supportive and friendly, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and wonderful. I was in town for a conference and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very classy and sophisticated, not outdated like others mention. The holiday decor this time of year was lovely and the bar next door was fantastic. I was worried about transportation to the airport the next morning for a very early flight and the bellhop not only reassured me a taxi would be ready but remembered me from the night before that very next morning when I came to checkout. Highly recommend this hotel!

Me and my sisters stayed here for 4 days during the Christmas period. We were blown away with the quality of service we received while being here. All the staff are so kind and welcoming and make you feel so at home, always available to offer any assistance at any time. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The beds are very comfy and the facilities are very clean and hygienic. Location is also a bonus. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be back.

While I really wanted to give our experience at this hotel 5 stars, I have to settle for 3.5, which I’ve rounded up to 4 with festive generosity. We are a family with kids. I prefer an old-world NYC hotel over a modern, impersonal one. Warwick has all the qualities and still offers good value for its price. The location is perfect for exploring midtown. The service is excellent, although I very much disliked the $2 per piece fee for bag storage on check-out day. The building is outdated, which is okay, but a notice about ongoing renovations (maybe with a dedicated discount?) would be appreciated. We stayed in room 311, where the view included scaffolding, debris, and trash, making it better to keep the curtains closed. The revolving door at the entrance has no clear accessible workaround, making stroller navigation difficult. There are too few elevators, and being on a lower floor, I had to wait three or more rounds to get one spot going down during peak morning hours with the stroller. The room, per se, was what you'd expect, solid. Not crossing it off my list, but I would really like to see some improvements.
