Great experience!!! My husband and I had reservations for Sunday June 7, 2026 and the entire experience was amazing! We ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese as our appetizer and it did not disappoint. Huge chunks of lobster and the cheese was ever so creamy. For my entree I ordered the Wagyu Hanger Steak and it was delicious, not a sliver left on my plate. My husband ordered the Italian Basil Cavatelli with spicy Wagyu sausage that blew him away. Our dessert was a Mango cheese cake and it was amazing, paired with our coffee. All of our drinks from the bar were served perfectly and very tasty. Our server Lydia was nothing but the best. Lydia took care of us as if she knew us for years, and her recommendations were perfect! Having dinner at Valerie was amazing and my husband and I will definitely return to enjoy the atmosphere and the hospitality. Totally worth the visit! Loved it!

We came here by chance after seeing the beautiful bar and great atmosphere. The food was delicious. We loved it.

Genuinely my favorite cocktail bar in New York. Gin is their specialty so if you love a martini or a G&T this place cannot be missed! During the week it is standing room only at the bar but it draws a fun crowd, just get there early!<br>This was my second time at Valerie and I was a bit disappointed in the oysters this time around, they were pretty small and not as good as I remember from my first visit but they had killer French fries that more than made up for it!

This is a go to place for happy hour and dinner if in midtown. Chris is the BEST bartender ever. His recommendations for both the menu and some crafty cocktails are so on par! He’s got a gift! He was able to curate some awesome cocktails based on looking at a (and everyone loved them!). The hostesses are so sweet and accommodating (and pretty) it’s a welcome sight to walk into this nice place. Had the $1 oysters which were chucked to perfection. Everything was great! Highly recommend

Valerie was definitely worth a visit! It’s such a cool bar with a really nice, stylish setting that works for almost any occasion. Their cocktail menu is impressive they have drinks inspired by different places around the world, and the bartenders are talented enough to make almost any combination you can think of.<br><br>Whether you’re looking for a specific classic or something unique, they really know their craft. I would definitely recommend this spot to both small and big groups alike, as the atmosphere is lively and accommodating for everyone.

This beautiful bar has amazing service and incredibly delicious cocktails. Daniel was such a fun host — we came in close to closing, and he never made us feel rushed, still bringing high energy at the end of the night. Mario, our bartender, made some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had in Manhattan. I went with the bartender’s choice and gave a few details about my preferences, my cocktail was amazing he served it personally and explained in detail what he crafted. I had to order another one! The lighting is gorgeous, the vibe is relaxed, and we had such a great time. I highly recommend this spot for a night out.

From the moment you walk into VALERIE, the decor and lighting create such a beautiful, cozy, and relaxed atmosphere. The service was impressively fast—we had our food in less than 10 minutes! I highly recommend the crispy shrimp bao buns; they were awesome. Everyone else in my group loved their meals, too. A perfect Midtown find!

I booked this restaurant for the day my fiancée and I got engaged and let the team know in advance that it was a special occasion.<br><br>We arrived a little early to escape the freezing temperatures outside and were shown to a lovely corner table at the back in a cosy, intimate room. We ordered the lobster mac and cheese and the crispy shrimp bao buns, both of which were absolutely delicious.<br><br>To make the evening even more special, we were treated to complimentary champagne and a beautiful chocolate dessert. The service was faultless – our servers were incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us.<br><br>We had originally planned to head upstairs to Madame George afterwards, but after clocking up around 25,000 steps and battling jet lag, we decided to call it a night and head back to the hotel instead.

This is a great little restaurant to have a high quality dinner in a beautiful atmosphere, get a feeling of the vibrant city life. The cocktails are generous, the food is good quality and fairly priced. Portions are reasonable -not too big, the desserts are amazing. They have a creative menu that will make your choice difficult. The staff are very attentive. Happy hour can be crowded so book your table in advance.

Sat at the upstairs bar at 7pm and went with prosciutto flat bread with pesto and fig drizzle. Also ordered an espresso martini that was very well-crafted. The flatbread was good but I really wanted to try those truffle fries lol. Solid menu. Really nice lighting - I like it dim. Great date spot for sure. People can sit at bar, table, stand, and socialize on the first floor so Valerie has an upbeat feel. Well played!

Nice atmosphere. The second floor was quiet enough to have a conversation. Happy hour cocktails were very basic but fair for the low price. The $1 oysters were surprisingly good. Service was fast and responsive.

I went to Valerie NYC with some of my intern friends, and we honestly had the best time ever. From the moment we walked in, the vibes were amazing and made us want to stay all night. We went during happy hour, and it was SO fun. The drinks were great, really well made, and perfect for hanging out and catching up.<br><br>We ordered a bunch of appetizers and everything was really good, but the pesto pasta was definitely the highlight. It was absolutely amazing and so flavorful and we were talking about it even after we left. The apps were perfect for sharing, and everything came out quickly, which made the experience even better.<br><br>What really made the night special was how comfortable and welcoming the place felt. We ended up staying way longer than we planned because the vibes were just that good. The music, the energy, and the atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax, laugh, and enjoy time with friends.<br><br>Overall, Valerie NYC is such a fun place with great drinks, delicious food, and an unbeatable vibe. I would 100% recommend it for happy hour, a casual night out, or just a fun hang with friends. I can’t wait to go back again!

Chose this place because it was on a list of decorative restaurants for the holidays and when I looked at the menu the freezer martinis looked appealing. Unfortunately both were a disappointment. The decorations were nice, but nothing spectacular and while the martini was tasty it was prebatched and came in a bottle with a screw cap. Having said this the food was surprisingly tasty. The calamari was lightly breaded and tender with a good amount of jalapeño’s and the beer and buratta salad was delicious and beautiful to look at. The carrots could have been cooked a little more but the buratta was creamy and the crushed nuts added great texture.

Get the roasted half-chicken. It's very moist and smoky and roasted really well. The accoutrements around the chicken help to contrast with the beautiful meat.<br><br>Also get the shrimp bao buns. The contrast between the shrimp and the bao really makes the dish.<br><br>The roasted wild mushrooms were ok, probably not for mushrooms fans.<br><br>Make sure to get the tart dessert with ice cream.<br><br>The strozzapreti had a lot of good herbiness and thickness, highly recommend for vegetarians.
