Nice diner. Quickly seated and served. Reasonable prices, and the food was good. Small and clean with attentive service. My wife would have liked a slice of tomato with her tuna melt, but otherwise no issues. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking in back. ♿️

Had breakfast food was good a bit pricey hot chocolate was just slightly bigger than a shot glass and not worth the $4.
I've been coming to this diner for over 20 years. Most of the time service and food are on point. In those years I've encountered 2 nonchalant waiters and under or overcooked fries which were corrected immediately without hassle. I love the atmosphere and the welcoming staff.
Extremely Disturbing Experience - Unsafe Behavior from Staff Member (Anthony)

We came to this diner to celebrate a family reunion -- our cousin was visiting from overseas. We've been regular customers here for over 30 years, and always enjoyed coming here until this shocking incident.
We brought a $500 bottle of alcohol and planned to discuss it with our server, intending to pay for opening it and also order from the bar. Before we had a chance to explain, a staff member named Anthony suddenly ran up to our table screaming, saying we couldn't bring alcohol into his establishment. His behavior was erratic and aggressive -- his eyes were red, his hands were shaking, and he was shouting so loudly that saliva landed on our food.
We even offered to buy the most expensive bottle of alcohol from their bar to resolve the situation politely, but Anthony refused, saying he was not selling us anything. He then grabbed our bottle and drinks from the table with his bare hands, took them away without permission, and threatened to call the police. We were shocked and deeply uncomfortable. He came back moments later, threw the check on the table, and told us never to return. When I went to pay and asked why he said that, he denied it and walked away, refusing to face me.
As a doctor, I have worked with psychotic patients in clinical settings, but those are controlled and professional environments. What I witnessed here was frightening, unpredictable, and deeply upsetting. It was depressing to see such rude and inconsiderate behavior in what used to be one of my favorite places.
Anthony's behavior was so unstable that it made us fear for our safety. Management should immediately evaluate whether he is fit to interact with customers.
After this disturbing encounter, I can no longer recommend this diner. Never in my life have I experienced such an attitude from staff or ownership toward loyal customers. It no longer feels safe or welcoming.
I frequently stop at this fueling station to purchase fuel. It's really big and they have about 18 pumps. Though all of them aren't being used because the middle pump is always blocked by someone that doesn't feel the need to pull in to fuel the correct way.

The store is pretty clean, merchandisers are on point and availability of product is evident.

This is a full service station, all that you may think of is in here. They offer lottery, restroom, hot and cold food, coffee,... You name it. The service I received today was purchasing fuel and I obtained an outstanding value. $2.79 for fuel but I paid $2.09 by utilizing my fuel perks, a savings of $9 for 13 gallons of gas.

I love the Tim Horton shop. My experience today, I went to get a pumpkin spice latte, the young lady was very new so she went to verify that they actually sold that item. She came back to prepare the latte, the other person working helped her and discovered that the latte was not cooperating so she offered me another drink. I told her that I really appreciate her not selling me something that was not suitable for consumption. She apologized and I eased the sale by taking another coffee and saying that I'll come get the spice another time, she was empathetic and felt really bad.

What resonated was she valued me as a customer and didn't see me as a sale or money in the drawer realizing that I may or may not return. Also I sense that she understood that she was representing the organization and wouldn't want a scare on her record. She did good!
After ordering a burger that had Mold on it and was incorrect, They tried to tell me that the green mold on the cheese was blood from the burger!
you be the judge? My 6 year old says only aliens have green blood Hahahah I order here for the past 5 years since I moved here don’t think I will be ordering anymore especially cause they tried to tell me that the mold was not mold and it was blood from the cow hahaha !!
I am from FL, and have tried may breakfast diners but this place wins 1st place! The pancakes looked beautiful but tasted even better! The potatoes were so fresh and lightly seasoned. & the omelette was hot and delicious. Thank you for wonderful taste bud experience!
Our server was above and beyond! So friendly and accommodating — especially for my sister with food allergies. Many options on the menu with generous portions. Fun, lively atmosphere.
I ate here for breakfast recently. First time. It was very good. Eggs were fresh! Omelet was delicious. Service was quick and good. Highly recommend this diner!
Loved my time at the Valbrook diner! Jennifer was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. So attentive, kind, and she thought of everything before we’d even ask. I loved our lunch and it was the perfect diner experience. We’ll be back! Thank you Jenn!
Valbrook Diner

Layout/atmosphere
*Counter with one TV; booths; tables in back; open view of the street; parking lot

Service
*Quick

Food/drink
*Pancakes - good; could taste the buttermilk in the batter
*Corned Beef Hash with two eggs (over easy) with home fries & toast - solid; green peppers in the potatoes
The diner had a calm atmosphere. It was busy but it wasnt crowded. I ordered the farmers omelet which comes with home fries and toast. My husband ordered pancakes. When the food came out it was a pleasant surprise. It was a huge serving. They made my home fries perfectly crunchy just as I asked them to. It was delish and enjoyable. We divided the food among each other and it was alot. The omelet, fries and pancake was really good. We always say if you are really hungry go to a diner because the servings are huge.
Really enjoyed the meal, the server was nice and attentive. This place is worth a visit.
The diner has parking, but depending on the time of day it may be fiiled. There is plenty of parking on the street. The place is clean and spacious with exceptional staff and service. The food is so delicious and the portions are hugh. Best of all...the prices, so economical and affordable.
They had paper menus. Like printouts. The one I had was torn. How splendid. Their water was tap water. Unfiltered. Just nasty. I ordered a Ginger-Ale. That was fountain. So displeasing. I would no recommend this diner for drinks. They did have good breakfast though. I had a chicken quesadilla omelette. That was the only thing decent there.
I'm someone who loves a great Saturday morning breakfast after a long and gruesome week. I decided to try somewhere else other than IHOP and ended up randomly coming to Valbrook Diner. From when I first entered the establishment, I was greeted with courtesy and I knew right then and there that they valued their customers. I was granted the choice to sit where I wanted. The atmosphere was very welcoming and everyone seemed to be happy. The sweet aroma of the food floating through the air made my mouth watery. The waitress was nice. They have many different selections on the menu. The food came rather quickly after I ordered. I also ordered a few things because I thought it would probably be small portions but I was wrong. The portions were sufficient enough. Food was very delicious and fulfilling. Highly recommend for breakfast. They do serve lunch also and I think dinner. Plenty of parking was available when I went there on a Saturday morning. Maybe just got lucky and the place was somewhat packed. Will definitely revisit. Thank you for a pleasant experience!
