Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet

This place is amazing. It is my favorite buffet in Staten Island. It is a must go to for buffet lovers like myself. It has alot for a great price. At dinner time they have my all my favorites under 1 roof, Great coconut chicken, the best General Tsao chicken (made with red chilli pepper sauce, all you can eat fresh sushi, Tai wings and at their dessert area i eat all the good cheese cake they have! They even have little grills they bring to your table if you want to cook your raw fish or meat yourself. We usually go to Umi's for special occasions, but if I could I would. I give them 5 delicious Stars +

The crab was dead and smelled bad, and the orange juice tasted heavily diluted with water. Before we even finished eating — less than an hour after sitting down — the server brought us the bill without us asking. Very disappointing experience.

Very nice place for an afternoon lunch with family. We enjoyed the food, scenery, and entertainment that was provided. The service is as good as the food, we waited less than 5 minutes for a table. I highly recommend.

So far, it's the best buffet I've ever been to. It's too bright inside, but they have a huge food selection.

Very vibrant place. Great parking. Lunch was nice since no waiting. Seafood is good. Soup is good. Lots of stuff for All u can eat.

Umi Buffet in Staten Island is a fantastic place to go if you want a wide variety of fresh, tasty food in a relaxed setting. The selection is impressive — from sushi and Asian classics to grilled items and desserts — you always find something you love. Plates are well-stocked and the quality stays high even during busy times.<br><br>The staff are friendly and keep everything clean and inviting. I especially appreciate how quickly tables are cleared and how the buffet stays refreshed. Prices are fair for the amount and range of food you get.<br><br>Overall, it’s one of my go-to spots for a casual meal with friends or family. Hands down one of her classiest and best all. You can eat seafood spots in the New Jersey area. Do you have have fish, fish, sushi, Hot pot and regular classic Asian food. We want on Valentine's Day and we had a great time. The food was fresh, delicious and plenty. Service was also very nice and attentive.

Absolute joy, delicious food keeping high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, wide variety of foods products. Very active staff. We went with a large group of 7 and everyone loved it. Recommend

Soooo I reaaaallllly wanted this to be good but OMG was it bad!!! Let me start buy the plates were dirty food bland dry and just sitting no rotation!!! The ramen looked soooo good but the chance su was like rubber.. The quality and care is horrible.. The shrimp I askd them to cook was bkack from whatever was on grill before me..sushi rice wet and dry... salmon I spit out it taste like saki.. The only edible thing was the pork belly and you had to look for the good pieces!!! Now Tge 30 dollars felt like I was getting robbed sooo hopefully somone reads this and makes any other decision esp for the price DONT GO..The staff though was soooo Great and quick as well as they cleaned the plates when Was brought to attention which I appreciated

The food here was all pretty average. Most of it wasnt seasoned well or was overcooked. The sushi was all a bit old tasting. The ramen broth was fine but the pork wasnt seasoned and the rest was just fine. The desserts were all average as well. The strawberry ice cream bars they had were melted and refrozen

very fresh sushi and delicious food. I am happy with the quality and selection of different sushi and sashimi.<br>But it turned out to be very expensive. I understand that it was Saturday evening, but for a buffet the price seems a bit high. The bill came to $45.<br>for those who drink alcohol, a convenient place to spend a few hours in this buffet, as you can bring your own bottle.<br><br>I didn't like that the music was very, very loud, it was difficult to relax

No wait for dinner on a Friday night—we arrived around 6 PM, but it started getting crowded after 7. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including made-to-order ramen and hot pot. Overall, the food quality is good. However, they no longer serve lobster, which used to be part of the menu.

The Location was quite welcoming and definitely a customer pleaser venue. The food, staff, the environment was quite stunning. Not like in other in the same industry, this place was well lit and food presentation was outstanding. We were all 6 of us and except the two my Aunt and Uncle who resides in the Island, four of us were all the way from Canada, two from Toronto and Mandy my wife is from Alberta. Definitely the choice made by our Leads Mr & Mrs Kumarage, was perfect. It was definitely a quiet a memorable meal for all of us. Personaly for past 20+ years, being big-time foodies, I have never had such an experience in Buffets..... Definitely This Location had kept a highranked Standard in the buffet industry...... Out of so many variations the Baked scallops, coconut Shrimps, Glazed Pork Chops and the crow fish will be will be in my memories for ever, no doubt. I recently visited this buffet and was really impressed! The variety of food options was amazing, offering everything from crispy spring rolls and fried seafood to flavorful stir-fries and fresh sushi. Every dish I tried was well-prepared and delicious.<br><br>The service was also excellent—staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was well-stocked and the dining area stayed clean.
