Traders Joe is great for small bites and healthy options. I don’t do major shopping there, but if I need anything special I know they have it. Service always 10 stars, can stop anyone with Hawaiian shirt and they take the time to help you

I had the most horrible customer service experience ever at this location in city point NY, DeKalb Market. Never have I experienced such cruel and insensitive customer service at any other location or any other store experience in my life. I left the store feeling extremely stressed, anxious, and bullied by a cashier. Customers at any establishment deserve better treatment. I do not know if the cashier was having a bad day or needed a break but despite me trying to avoid confrontation and offering to go to another cashier, she still proceeded to berate my daughter and I because we asked for two separate bags. The cashier's behavioral was unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. No establishment should tolerate that kind of behavior or subject their customers to it. I will not be returning to this location ever. I sincerely hope my report to management does not go unheard as this experience seriously left me feeling miserable.

I only bought two packs of pistachios, but it seems like they charged me for three. I checked out at counter number 21 this afternoon.<br>If I go complain, it will take time and I’m not even sure they’ll solve it. But if I don’t say anything, it still bothers me inside.

Very large Trader Joes with a huge army of cashiers ready to serve, solid helpful and knowledgeable staff throughout. It gets quite crowded because it is in the Food court corner of Dekalb Market Hall. Still if you are in need for good quality and healthy food, this is your space.

I experienced what I perceived as profiling during my recent visit. Several individuals approached me in the aisles, inquiring about my selections, yet never proceeding to purchase those items. This behavior strongly suggested a loss prevention strategy. I find such profiling practices to be highly objectionable. While I cannot definitively state the reason, whether it be my tattoos or my attire, the experience was clearly one of being targeted by loss prevention personnel.

I was a bit disappointed that this location didn't have that much Vegan variety. One item particular was the tofu slices. It was also challenging for me to locate items. Thankfully the staff helped show me where the items were. Some of the prices could be better. There was no whole wheat baking flour also. I was in and out of the supermarket thankfully. Great customer service!

I’ve been to this Trader Joe’s location near DeKalb / Downtown Brooklyn a few times, and overall it’s a decent, convenient grocery spot for the area.<br><br>The store itself is clean, well-organized, and runs pretty efficiently considering how busy this part of Brooklyn gets. Staff are usually friendly and keep things moving, especially at checkout, which is important because it can get crowded during peak hours.<br><br>That said, Trader Joe’s as a whole isn’t really my personal preference. A lot of their inventory is private label, and while some people love that, to me it can feel a bit limited and “one-note” compared to stores that carry a wider range of recognizable brands. It sometimes feels like you’re choosing between different versions of the same in-house product rather than having real variety.<br><br>If you’re someone who enjoys Trader Joe’s style — unique snacks, frozen meals, and their own branded items — this location does a good job of delivering that experience. They stay well-stocked, and it’s easy to grab quick, ready-to-eat options.<br><br>Overall, it’s a solid store for convenience and quick shopping in Downtown Brooklyn. Not my go-to for full grocery runs, but I can see why it works well for people who like what Trader Joe’s offers.

This Trader Joe's location is by far one of the best organized. Well-stocked, staff is extremely helpful, and they have a fantastic system to maintain order and keep long lines moving. Never be afraid to go in to shop when you see the lines long because you will still be in/out relatively fast. My absolute go-to location.

Very aggressive and angry casher like volcano erruption ,#29, on 3/8/26.<br>There was zero issue and argument at all.<br>The Tone and attitude was way too manipulative and rough.<br><br>YES OR NO???? and very Loud - skipping details.<br>The way she packed caused vandalism on my innocent tomatoes.<br>It felt like she was venting out her own issues on me.<br>Lady,<br>Your reality has nothing to do with me.<br>Elevate yourself!

I really like Trader Joe’s, and I’m giving one star specifically to get management’s attention. Boiled edamame has always been a must-buy for me. However, since the recent price increase, I’ve noticed that it often has a gritty texture when eating it. This has happened more than once. Please pass this feedback to quality control and make sure the edamame is properly washed before boiling. Thank you.

Trader Joe's is a blessing. I shop there for my breakfast items, organic fruits. Seasonal foods and beverages. Ideally located at Albee Square mall. Very friendly and efficient staff. The lines move very quickly. No price gouging that is why TJ has loyal customers

Superb. It's always a pleasure to shop ar TJ. However, please know that there is no wines at this spot.<br>Food centre before TJ is a good combination for family shoppers.

I love Trader Joe’s, especially now when more organic food options are available. This store is a great addition to the neighborhood. I wish it was a little bigger, it gets crowded at Peak times.<br>This store is very well organized, the food is great quality and the prices are still good comparing to the other super markets. Fresh Fruits and vegetables are In Good condition. Love the artisan choices of bread and bread rolls. It would be nice if there were options of organic whole wheat bread without added sugar.<br>My best item is organic frozen rice whether is brown of white jasmine, or dried fruit chips strawberries, blueberries, apples, just perfect snacks for children or adults who do not eat sugary stuff.<br>Also, organic grass fed milk (when available) has unbeatable price. Just wish it is a available all the time. Other favorite item is cooked lentils.<br><br>Best of the best is great selection of flowers right when you enter the store at very good prices. I always buy it for myself and my family members or friends.<br><br>The reason I am giving 4 stars is that after certain time of the day many items are not available, and there is no parking.<br>Otherwise, I love the store, always good music, staff is friendly and the line doesn’t matter how long it goes quickly.<br>Thank you!
