Whenever I’m in town, I absolutely love stopping by here and grabbing A bite to eat! The food, the atmosphere in the ambience I’ll make everything worth it. The workers here are amazing, especially our server Toon. We were constantly checked on and made sure that we were attended to with all our needs.
Amazing food and service! Their thai spicy is actually spicy and delicious; not too overpowering. Definitely recommend the tom yum fried rice and mango sticky rice. Cheewin was an amazing server as well.
food and overall experience were still great. We had a reservation for 7 people at 6:30 PM, but due to our group arriving late, only 4 of us showed up at first. We completely understood the restaurant needing to adjust the seating situation, and the staff did accommodate us by changing our table when another guest arrived.

I do wish the communication had been a little warmer, as I felt a bit embarrassed asking about adding another chair later on. That said, I understand they were trying to manage seating fairly during a busy time, and ultimately the situation was partly on us because our full group didn’t arrive on time.

The food was delicious and the staff still worked with us despite the confusion, so I appreciate that and would definitely come back. Again I would really like to emphasize the staff could have told us no straight up but didn't and moved us to a different table so my friend could sit with us
The food is so good! Everything is awesome! Koon, our server was very attentive and nice. I will definitely recommend it and come back!
First off, the food is great. No complaints about any of the food we ordered or the drinks. However, we were only seated for an hour (6 of us) and were rushed out because other people were waiting. We were also denied dessert because they were saving it for the birthday party (mind you, we had someone with a birthday in our party too). Our bill came out to over $400 and I believe the service should've been better. Not a place that would be first on my list to recommend, maybe their service will be better in the future. The bathroom situation is also insane, always a long line.
This is my go-to spot for a breath of fresh air and incredible food! We came as a group of six and was lucky to get their lunch special! We ordered the Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Udon noodles, and Basil fried rice with different proteins of steak, shrimp, and chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious, but my personal favorites have to be the Udon noodles and the Basil fried rice with any protein. They serve huge portions, making the lunch special an unbeatable deal; you get an appetizer, a main entrée, and a drink (highly recommend the Thai iced tea!). The waitstaff is incredibly kind and sweet. A solid 10/10 from me. I definitely recommend it!
We started with the appetizer platter with calamari, skirt steak, and crab. Everything was really good, especially the skirt steak which was super juicy.

We also got the beef Pad Thai and it was spot on with the flavors and absolutely delicious. We also tried the duck curry, which was okay, just not as impressive as the rest.

The overall vibe was great, and a big shout-out to Opal, our waitress, who was amazing and took great care of us.
Had an amazing experience at Top Thai! Halal Thai food in West Village and absolutely incredible. The service is top notch, friendly staff and great and quick service. Also, the restaurant decor is beautiful, very colorful inside. My party ordered the appetizers tray and also Udon Duck Noodle/Curry. We topped it off with some Iced Thai Boba. Everything absolutely hit the spot. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit! (make a reservation beforehand if you can because it gets very busy)
We had the best tom kha kai at this place today. We also ordered chicken satay(delicious), mango salad(yall need to order this), khao soi (heavy and filling), penang duck curry(order this pls so rich in flavour). The food was so delicious, portion was good but I will say the lychee drinks were underwhelming. But their mango drinks are good so maybe order those over the lychee drinks. We didnt needed a reso we just walked and got sitted right away. Our server was this sweet guy whose name i can’t remember rn but he suggested some of the dishes we ordered. Glad we did cause they were tasty. Also this place is serving halal dishes which is always great.
Amazing food and atmosphere! It does get very packed and sometimes it feels cramped. The service is fast. I love their Thai iced tea, skirt steak and seafood fried rice. They also have a trio appetizer option that we always get.
Gem NYC spot for Thai food, I always come back for their drinks and Green Curry. Clean bathroom. Friendly staffs. Great indoor scenery & birthday vibe (somehow there's always someone's birthday everytime I come here btw).
Near West 4th St's A B C D E F M station & Huston St's 1 station

Thai Ice Tea (small) $6
Ginger Fizz (small) $7 (large +$2)
Fried Calamari $16
Spicy Basil Fried Rice (with shrimp) $26
Green Curry (with Chicken) $25
Pad Thai (with Chicken) $25
IF YOU PAY WITH CASH, YOU WILL GET 10% CASH DISCOUNT.
Top Thai 55 takes its place among some of the top Thai restaurants in my book. Each dish was packed with flavor and satisfied me greatly.

Of note, the green curry and vegetable spring rolls were exceptional. The green curry was so good I could drink it straight. The vegetable spring rolls had a great texture and were light, refreshing, yet also hearty when paired with the accompanying peanut sauce.

Not pictured were cucumber and ginger (non alcoholic) drinks that were also quite refreshing and tasty.

A bonus point is all of their protein options are Halal. Overall I’d be happy to recommend Top Thai 55 to Thai food lovers and those with Halal dietary restrictions.
Absolutely love this place! The food and decor bring me back to old Thailand — warm, nostalgic, and full of charm. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was attentive, and the drinks were great too — plus, there’s a nice bar inside. I went with a friend and we both left happy and full. Highly recommend!
We three (my wife, daughter and me) had a unforgettable experience here just yesterday (Sunday, October 5, 2025). The drinks, the appetizers and the main course (food) yummy and delicious. And service too was amazing. It was our first time at Top Thai and it was far beyond our expectations. Too good. We strongly recommend this place.
