A great spot, especially on a rainy day. The market brings together a huge variety of food vendors under one roof, offering everything from different cuisines to coffee, desserts, and ice cream. It’s a perfect option when everyone in your group is craving something different.

There’s plenty of seating, the atmosphere is lively, and the whole space is well organized. One of the highlights is the outdoor area at the back, which has a beautiful view of the river and makes for a nice place to sit when the weather is good.

We loved having so many choices in one place without needing to decide on a single restaurant. Whether you’re looking for a full meal, a coffee break, or something sweet, you’ll probably find it here. Definitely worth a visit while in New York. 😊🍽️☕🍦🌉

Loved visiting this market. So much choice for food. Amazing views over the Hudson from the ground and from the roof, as well Brooklyn, and Manhattan bridges. The bar on the roof had live music, which was great. We visited in the daytime and it was all suitable for children as well.
OMG! there were so many food choices!!! I was a fat kid in a candy store. Then I went upstairs and grabbed a drink with the amazing view, then there was a free salsa dance class. I couldn't help myself anf jumped right in, the regulars were so kind and fun.
Anyways, go see it for yourself!
This place is amazing and with plenty of variety of food to pick no matter what you’re craving. The atmosphere is cool, and despite how busy it can get, the place is always clean and well-kept. It’s a great place to explore, try different foods and there’s a rooftop to see the Brooklyn Bridge. Highly recommend stopping by!
Time Out Market New York has a wide array of fantastic food, drink and dessert options. We ordered the barbecue and was BLOWN away! We got the carnitas (plaited on top a smashed fried plaintain, cilantro lime salsa) with a side of fried plantains and Mac and cheese and the flavors and textures were amazing. The line was very long for barbecue and the brisket sold out right as we got to the front as it’s very popular. We also got a bolognese pasta dish that was very good too.

The views of the city are also next level. From the second floor you can get a view/photo of the Brooklyn view that rivals 5 star dining restaurants but at a fraction of the price.
We stopped by Time Out Market mainly to check out the rooftop, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. It’s definitely worth coming up just for that alone.

There are also some really nice spots to sit and relax, with a cool overall vibe. That said, it gets extremely busy, so don’t expect a quiet experience.

One downside was the facilities — we only found one restroom on the first floor, and the line was very long, which wasn’t ideal.

Overall, a great place to visit for the views and atmosphere, just be prepared for the crowds.
What a gem! It was our first time in Brooklyn and I have had my heart set on checking this place out for a long time. The vibes are so good, so many great food options and seating arrangements. My daughter and I were there around 10:30 am and opted for Clinton Street Baking Co. which was amazing, delivered right to our table. I’ll be making a point to visit here every time I come to NYC.
I really enjoyed this space in DUMBO. It has a great atmosphere and beautiful city views that make it worth visiting.
The handmade market was especially interesting lots of unique and creative pieces to look through.
It was quite crowded, so it felt a bit busy at times, but that didn’t take away too much from the experience.
The rooftop was definitely a highlight charming and perfect for taking in the view. Overall, a very nice place that I’d be happy to visit again.
A fun place with lots to do and eat! We had a wonderful time here, especially on the rooftop. The best views of the Brooklyn & Manhattan bridges. My only complaints are the lack of women’s restrooms. I waited in a very long line for at least 20 minutes during peak time. But the restroom was very clean and maintained! The unisex bathrooms had much shorter lines, but are not cleaned and maintained throughout the day...GROSS. Also, it took a while for staff to clean up dining spaces where guests left their trays and leftovers. Otherwise, we had a great experience and will return when the weather warms up!
The rooftop is great place to hang out. Easy for groups, because there are many food options to choose from in the building. You take a buzzer and get to relax in the sun while waiting for your order.

The pizza spot on the 5th floor has gluten free crust.
I haven’t been to this area in a while, and I was blown away by the renovation! It’s an amazing spot with a massive variety of food vendors everything from matcha to pasta. I tried the pizza and it was incredible. The 5th-floor rooftop and outdoor decks are perfect for hanging out with a view. Definitely a must-visit in Dumbo!
Very busy but fun place to hang out, get some food and drinks with live music and amazing view of Brooklyn bridge and Hudson river, Manhattan bridge and Manhattan skyline! We ate at Bark barbecue. The food was amazing. If weather permits, you can sit outside as well! Worth a visit!!!
What a great place!! Much bigger than I had imagined too!! Once inside there are dozens of food n drink places to choose from! Truly something for everyone and the prices are pretty decent as well! The view from the balcony is just stunning!! Having both bridges and the Manhattan skyline was a breathtaking view!! We found parking easily on the street nearby, walked past the ever famous photo op of the Manhattan bridge dumbo photos you see everywhere n finally saw it with my own eyes 😍. Definitely a must!!
Love Love Love this place so much for the variety of food and drinks available. We came back after two years from Australia and the firsts day we were here for some of the best food we have ever tasted. Went a few times while we visited NYC and its boroughs.
After walking across the Brooklyn Bridge to the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area of Brooklyn my wife and I decided to have lunch at the Timeout Market foodhall.
There were many wonderful indoor food stalls options on the ground floor together with the large Cecconi's restaurant with sitting outside next to the riverside with fantastic views of the Manhattan Bridge, as well as indoors.
After looking at all the food stalls options on the ground floor, we took the lift up to check out the open air seating area on the 5th floor rooftop, as I had downloaded the App that allowed me to look at all the food options from the stalls, order anything I wanted, pay for it online and have it delivered to our table on the rooftop.
When we got to the 5th floor we discovered there was a smaller foodhall with 5 food stalls and a bar. The Bark Barbeque stall immediately caught our attention as it was the only one with a queue and we love BBQ food. So I queued up for 15 minutes and I ordered some fantastic Dominican BBQ food (beef brisket, pulled pork sandwich, smoked conitas & cornbread with honey bitter), which we enjoyed with a couple of great IPA beers that my wife had purchased from the bar, sitting at a bench table.
There was also outside seating on the rooftop for diners, in addition to a public terrace with fantastic views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge & NYC skyline.
There are toilets on the first floor, which had big queues, and inside the 5th floor foodhall. The riverside with beautiful parks and Jane's Carousel can be accessed from the back of the mall.
Of the 3 food halls we visited on this trip to NYC (Chelsea Market & Market 57 being the others) this was by far our favourite and we would highly recommend it.
