A much needed end of the week girls meet-up.

Reservations were made and are STRONGLY suggested. A CC is required and you must agree to terms and conditions upon making said reservations. One of those terms is that there is a $25/pp fee for late cancelations or no shows.

**Given the rules, I think it would be nice if THEP informs everyone when they book reservations that there is a great likelihood that you will be seated at a communal table.**

Upon arrival we were seat when 3 out of the 4 arrived. Yes, we were seated at the communal table, which was off putting initially because we were looking for a more private experience and opportunity to catch up. However, we powered through and made the best of it.

Service started off shaky and rushed initially, with incorrect drink orders presented. However once we all settled in things improved. The food was good and the atmosphere was lovely. A few entrée dishes were unavailable and required a little flexibility in the night’s taste palate.

Overall Thep was enjoyable and I would like to return now that I know what to expect.

Just A Note:

If a communal table is not ideal I would suggest reaching out directly to the restaurant to see if something can be arranged.

Had a great Thai food night here 🌿 Everything we ordered was solid and didn’t disappoint.
The Hor Mok Talay (coconut seafood curry) was a highlight — super creamy with a slight sweetness, and the seafood tasted really fresh. It goes so well with rice.
The Pad Thai (tofu) was classic and well-balanced, not too oily, with a nice mix of sweet and tangy flavors. The tofu was well-seasoned too.
The Thep Platter is perfect if it’s your first time here — a little bit of everything, great for sharing and makes ordering easy.
And definitely don’t skip the Tom Yum Soup — it’s authentic, tangy and spicy, very appetizing and honestly kind of addictive.
Overall, a great spot to come with friends and share a few dishes. Everything we tried was consistently good — you really can’t go wrong with the menu.

We had lunch at Thep today and it was great! The portions were generous and everything was very tasty. We also tried one of their specialty mocktail and it was delicious.

The space feels warm and inviting — we really enjoyed the interior design. Had a wonderful Lunar New Year dinner at Thep Thai Restaurant in Manhattan! The food was absolutely delicious — the Tom Yum Shrimp Soup was perfectly balanced, the Pineapple Fried Rice was flavorful and beautifully presented, and the Chu Chee Pla Tod was crispy with an amazing curry sauce. We also loved the chive dumplings and Thai iced tea.
Great atmosphere, cozy setting, and perfect for group gatherings. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious! And the service is excellent. Kade was our server and she was very accommodating. I’ve been here several times and one of my favorite Thai spots.

Delicious, comforting Thai food with great attention to detail. The duck curry was a highlight. Crispy duck, rich coconut curry, pineapple, and basil in perfect balance. The rice bowl with a fried egg was simple but deeply satisfying, and the Thai iced tea was smooth and refreshing without being too sweet.

Service made the experience even better. Anna was warm, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations, making us feel genuinely welcome. A great spot for an easy, enjoyable meal.

Came here on a weekday dinner without a reservation and was able to be seated right away. They have smaller tables for 2 and larger tables for 4+. The vibe is dark, moody, elegant. The service was very good

We got a starter (that I'm now forgetting the name of) that was excellent. The shrimp was well cooked and the sauce was great. I also got a cocktail which I thought was good. For mains we got the pad kee mao and massaman curry. Both were great! I personally wish the massaman curry would've been spicier but I like my food spicy. The portion size was decent too - we had some leftovers to take home.

Overall I recommend and I'd definitely go back!

I love THEP Thai. I’ve been here so many times and I was last here for my friends birthday dinner. It’s my favorite Thai food on the UES. We were a group of 10+ and we had called to get a reservation earlier in the week for a Friday night and they were able to accommodate.

I got a Thai iced tea and the khao soi. I love the food here (have tried most of the menu items).

The service was super quick and friendly - we had a nice lady named Four as our host/server.

Love this place and will be back!
