Very nice ppl and the food was so delicious. Will definitely come back. Fried dumplings are amazing.

I just had the most disgusting meal there is hair all over my food which is completely unacceptable and not sanitary. They refuse to reorder & either give my money back. I will never ever eat from the smokehouse ever again. Please BEWARE & make sure you check your food before you eat.

Terrible customer service. Staff is very condescending and ignorant, I went to pick up an uber pick up order where I had ordered 3 different meals and 3 drinks and there was only 1 drink included in the bag. Oddly enough, when I complained about it, an ignorant “manager” gave me no apology or explanation other than that they were sold out of the flavor of drinks… and even then she refused to give me 2 other different drinks to replace the 2 I was ALREADY missing because the others were $1 more lol when she could’ve just told me that and I would’ve paid the extra $2 😂😂 I’ve been eating here for years and I promise they just lost not only me as a customer, but my family as well, keep up that disgusting attitude and we’ll see where business goes 😂😂👎👎

Food here is always a hit. Its always busy, sometimes hard to find parking because it's busy. I've been here multiple times and never had an issue with their food. I mostly do Uber eats pickup and its in and out...

I ordered wings they were burnt and dry. Service is terrible and the place is not clean. I would not waste my time going there. Best item to me is their collard greens and they always run out of food. Five burnt wings cost me almost $8.00.
( Not even a whole wing)
This business is subpar to say the least.

Large oxtail was mostly bone. I asked for plantains to replace the veg. They gave me ONE PLANTAIN. Wasn't even sweet. Rice was good. Hard dough bread is good.

Soul food done right and with proper courtesy too. Props to the ladies holding down the fort, I was served well.

To start off, this was a detour lunch trip. I didn't intend to come here but the restaurant I was originally gonna go to was closed (on a Wednesday of all days) so I shifted over to this place because I came all the way out here, I'm gonna review something. Inside of the place is very roomy and certainly clean. I do have to dock off one star because it's a take out only spot and I would've preferred to stay and eat in, especially with the weather getting more chilly but I digress.

The young woman, Bianca tended to me as soon as I came in and I made my order. A large Curry Chicken w/ Mac n Cheese and yams. It was a pretty sizeable portion and was priced fairly at $16 and you certainly get your money's worth. After receiving my order which came with a free piece of Cornbread, I had to deal with the dilemma of, where was I gonna eat this? Eventually I settled on eating my lunch by the park nearby my Grandparents old residence in the rather windy elements. Despite that, the food definitely came in clutch. The Curry chicken definitely had a spice that kept me warm while the Mac n Cheese and yams were delicious and filling. I wonder how amazing it would've been if I were to eat it hot and ready but it was still good nonetheless.

My faith in soul food has been restored, at least a chunk of it. I haven't had a taste for it considering the two options Nearby my place is either mid or just awfully bad but I liked what I got from this spot. Sometimes when life gives you Lemons, make some lemonade out of it and savor the flavor.

As I saw 30k reviews on Uber Eats I was intrigued on ordering from this location. I ordered Jerk Chicken, rice & peas and cabbage and it was really good. The chicken was made perfectly didn’t even need to add any sauce. Drink wise Lemon Ginger is definitely a lovely mix of lemon and ginger.

Great employees first place to call and offer another option of drink instead of sending nothing.

I recommend!

Picture speaks for itself. Catering order for a small group of medical professionals. The jerk chicken taste old also the jerk pork was tough and dry. The salad we ordered to compliment the bland Jerk chicken & Pork contained the lettuce ends. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Never again ! Cant support our kind these days. Very unprofessional. No pics of the meat everyone quickly dumped it in the garbage.

I ordered brown stew fish with gravy on the rice and a side of macaroni. They decided to put what appears to be oxtail gravy on my Mac (which I don’t eat) and gave me some type of sour fried fish with dry rice. Then I had to pick out about 50 of these allspice balls as I ate the food…why add so much of them? the picture wasn’t even half of them… horrible experience!

I am a first time customer and placed my order through Uber eats. I have never been to the location. The food was very delicious, flavorful and the festival was nice and flaky. I enjoyed it. Like most places they spear the meat. Consumers pay a lot for small portions.

First, you order, then they take forever to serve you, then you pay when your food reaches the cashier. Right after ordering, I made a change and heard the person tell the servers the change. After waiting about 25 minutes to get my food, the change wasn't made. So I told the cashier, she did go to request the change. I somehow feel like that's the reason I got 2 burst peppers in my rice😅 but I'm not mad, although someone else could've been. The flavors were ok, but I didn't like that the rice was very soft, and more than half of the wings were dry/stale.

I ordered the combination meal, Jerk Pork & Fry Chicken w/rice & peas. The food was delicious, pork was soft & well cooked with all the right spices, fry chicken was crispy & had flavor as well. Salad was good too. I've been ordering from them for over two yrs & I've never been disappointed. Their Jerk Pork is one of my favorite dish. I can never get tired of their food. It's that good. I had their fry chicken & barbecue chicken w/rice.
