We had a wonderful experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Sally. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout our entire visit. Her friendly attitude and genuine care made us feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived.

Sally went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, always with a smile and positive energy. Excellent customer service like hers is hard to find, and she truly made our dining experience memorable.

Thank you, Sally, for your outstanding service. We look forward to coming back and hope to see you again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended!

Where do I even begin?First I went on multiple occasions, just to give them a chance. If you are not in the front room you get pretty much ignored. The service absolutely sucks. You are literally forgotten and other servicers do not wanna help you, if you are not their table. There are lattes where actually very delicious and on point however, there is nothing special about the food.It is just basic diner food. Usually what makes a diner more complete is the friendliness of the staff and the service. But here they fell through. Also they're a little bit on the expensive side for a diner. The only good bonus is that they have a parking lot.And that's usually where the good points stop

There’s this one waitress at Bridgeview Diner: her name is Karima. She is quite literally one of the sweetest waitresses you’ll ever experience at this diner. Her smile is quite literally infectious and she ensures that everything’s good with your service and your food. Especially in times like now where we usually get workers with bland personalities and who really don’t care about their jobs; she’s just a breath of fresh air. If you guys come to this diner, definitely ask for Karima. You will not regret it!

Great views of Long Island Sound. Spartan, but clean rooms, all with water views, nice continental breakfast (included). Beds were comfy, nice porch right outside, close to the town of Greenport.

Its a huge diner and the staff are always friendly. That said the food has never clicked with me - everything always felt greasy or underwhelming in some way. They make up for it in portion size but personally I'm not a big eater so this place isn't for me.

A true New York and Brooklyn classic diner- Family friendly and special. One of the best French Onion soups you'll ever have- don't miss it while diners like this are still around!

Sign declares tht it is under new management.

Service was prompt, and food arrived without too long of a wait. Food was good. Items ordered included waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, omelet, pancakes with eggs and sausage, homefries and hot chocolate with whipped cream.

One thing that was appreciated is that they quoted the cash price AND the credit card price on the bill, so you could see the savings up front and decide how you wanted to pay (~4% savings according to the receipt).

The complimentary pickle and cole slaw was awesome but the coleslaw needed a little more salt and a little sugar but everything else was great! The egg cream was delicious!

This diner's standout feature is, without a doubt, the ample parking lot. In Bay Ridge, that alone is a rarity and a huge convenience. The interior of the diner is spacious, offering lots of seating and was not crowded, so we were quickly seated despite a brief pause when no one was at the front on initial entry.
Unfortunately, the quality of the experience quickly plateaued. Our waitress was incredibly direct, approaching the table only to ask for our order before promptly walking off. Hospitality was clearly not on her agenda this evening. She only returned to refill the water glass and, finally, to present the check—the sole time she offered a smile during the entire interaction.
The food itself was average diner eats. It was perfectly fine and filling, but nothing on the plate was outstanding or memorable. Overall, while the lack of a wait and the excellent parking make for a convenient visit, the combination of middling food and notably cold service means this diner is just barely average.

I gave them 4 stars based on my experience at other diners. I judge diners a little differently to a regular restaurant and I am not sure why. I know the local ones do not compare to the ones you see on Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive ins, and dives.

I usually do not go to diners although I know that they have a new manager named John working there. John was the manager at another restaurant in Bay Ridge, and it was always great when he was working! John is very personable and treats his customers like family. I know he is committed to making the experience as good as it can be.

I was told there are new owners so I figured I would give them a try. My experience is that you go to a diner for eggs, burgers, wraps, or their desserts. I read a lot of reviews for the past year or so and it sounded like many of the entrees were bland. I hope he will be able to address those reviews with the new owners and make the necessary changes.

The restaurant is big, has plenty of parking spaces in the back, which is a commodity in Bay Ridge, was clean, the staff was polite and well dressed. One thing you can count on is a menu that is like a novel. You can also count on large portions. Prices are fair for most items.

John explained they are open to modifying your order so if there is something you are allergic to or want to substitute that should not be a problem.
John had the place running well, even when they became crowded on a Saturday night, I could see everything running like clockwork. Water glasses were filled, extra napkins were provided, and the waiters were very attentive.

We started off with some waffle fries. They were very tasty, and they give you a large portion. We had the western omelet which came with home fries and toast. We also had the grilled chicken wrap and had turkey bacon.
Everything we ordered was made from scratch and was tasty. For dessert we had sugar free apple pie with vanilla ice cream. We also had the rice pudding which was very good as well.

I would recommend them if you are a diner person and I am sure if you ask for John, he will make sure you have a great experience.

Don't bother with this place after 10:00 PM. They say they're open til midnight, but good luck getting service. The staff are rude, and the food is mediocre. We walked in at 11:00 PM only to be told that the kitchen closes at 11:30 PM, and oh wait, no, I'm sorry, actually, the chef doesn't want to use the oven anymore so we can only order breakfast or sandwiches, which we did, and then they arrived around 11:15 PM, we started eating, and then at 11:30 PM, we were told that, no, never mind, they were actually already closed, even though we were still only about halfway through finishing our meals. Oh, and in between rushing us out the door, the waiter told us that apparently the bartender doesn't actually know how to make any of the drinks on the menu? And then he took our drink orders anyway only to return a little while later and tell us that the bartender has gone home! Honestly, for both my fiancée and I, this was a surprisingly negative experience. They're not the worst in the world, but there's another diner nearby, and we're definitely going there next time instead.

Bridgeview Diner is a well known establishment in Bay Ridge. The diner features a spacious layout with a large parking lot. Its retro modern decor combines traditional diner aesthetics with contemporary updates from the late 20th century, creating a nostalgic yet functional environment designed for a relaxed and welcoming dining experience. From our arrival, the staff was attentive and friendly. The menu offers classic diner fare, including items such as eggs and hash browns, as well as comfort foods like cheese fries. Our order included a Greek omelette, eggs over easy with sausage and home fries, and French toast. All dishes were enjoyable, with the French toast being particularly standout. The pricing was reasonable, with three meals and three coffees totaling only $48. While it may not be a fine dining experience, Bridgeview Diner is a good chocie for those seeking casual, comfort food.

I came here with my family for a birthday on a Friday night and we really enjoyed our experience! This restaurant is big and accommodating for large groups (we were a party of 9) and it had a parking lot with plenty of spots. The highlight of our experience was the service - thank you to our server for being attentive and constantly refilling our water cups. We were given coleslaw, pickles, bread, and crackers to start. The appetizers and pastas we ordered were flavorful and delicious. My only critique is that the prices are a little steep, but you do pay for what you get because the portions are big. I recommend coming if you’re in the area for a memorable diner experience. We will be back!

Delicious place for breakfast! The staff are very friendly. The diner offers free coffee refills. It came to $25 per person. I had an omelette with American cheese, ham, and spinach along with a side of bacon, orange juice, and coffee. The orange juice was freshly made and the omelette was delicious. I look forward to returning.
