I visited the malt house the other day with a friend, and I was amazed by their excellent wine selection. What impressed me the most, however, was the outstanding service. Alex was incredible—friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Visited New York this week and stepped into the Malt House for a quick snack before heading to the Yankees game. Molly (bartender and server) was great! Not only was the service outstanding she also took the time to chat with me. She offered great recommendations for locations to frequent after the game as well. I have already been back for lunch again today! I will definitely return on my next trip. #nachosaregreat
What an incredible experience at The Malthouse! From the moment I arrived, Molly made us feel welcome with her friendly personality, professionalism, and exceptional service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.<br><br>The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish exceeded our expectations, and it's clear that great care goes into both the menu and the overall dining experience.<br><br>Molly's outstanding hospitality combined with the fantastic food made for a memorable visit. We will definitely be back and highly recommend The Malthouse to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and top-notch service!
This was the second year we hosted our corporate event at The Malt House, and once again, it was an incredible experience. We held the event in the Volstead Bar, and the space was absolutely perfect for our group. The food, drink menu, and especially the team made the evening truly exceptional. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Thank you to Lee and the rest of the team, it was a pleasure!

I get an unusual drink (Spicy Whiskey Margarita) and Felix did his thing! Delicious and just the right amount of spicy. If you come here ask for him!<br><br>I’ll be posting this on yelp also to hopefully give it some recognition.

The service and atmosphere are amazing. The mezcalita was the best drink. Our bartender Adrian G was awesome! Please ask for him☺️. Had the smash burger and Parmesan fries. Yum. This may be my after work summer spot!

My partner and I love to come here for the burgers. The food is always great and the service is too. Alex was fantastic and has been our server several times. Always nice to see a familiar face! Highly recommended

Decided to check out Malt House for Saturday brunch and we were pleasantly surprised! Sat at the bar and Sarah absolutely took care of us. Opted for the bottomless brunch, ordering the cheese curds to start and then the steak and eggs with a side waffle and the breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious!! Well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and prepared to order. We’ll definitely be back, probably next weekend 😅

I came in here after a really long day, not expecting much just wanting a good cocktail and to chill for a little. Felix the bartender made me feel so comfortable and taken care of - his cocktail suggestion was spot on. I will be back thanks so much Felix and the malt house!

One of my favorite bars in FiDi! No matter what time of the day, always a vibe. The food very disappoints and the drinks are always spot on. The team from the Host to the Management are all very welcoming and friendly. Felix, the bartender makes the best martinis and he’s extremely knowledgeable. Great time always.

Stumbled upon this bar whilst sight seeing, sat at the bar and was served by the lovely Sarah who was so welcoming and had a great chat with us. Had a few cocktails (2x off menu cocktails that Sarah made for me based on my likes) and they were all delicious. Great atmosphere - recommend !!

We really enjoyed our meal at The Malt House. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a manager, possibly the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for the rest of the visit. The food was excellent and clearly made with care, and the service throughout the meal was attentive without being overbearing. Everything felt easy and enjoyable, the kind of place where you can settle in and really enjoy your time.

We visited during happy hour, got a delicious Malt House IPA and an Old Fashioned (also exceptional!). We had onion rings for the appetizer, the breading was beer-batteref but no so heavy that the onion wasn't allowed to bloom underneath (so to speak). My companion got the American Burger, with an onion jam that made it one of the best he's ever had. I got the Roasted Chicken and the combination of the tarragon, mash potatoes and creamy mushroom sauce made it a welcome comfort to my hungry stomach.
