Unironically one of the best Irish pubs in NYC. My parents used to take me here in the 90s and I rediscovered it as an adult. Excellent Guiness and Irish fare, friendly bartenders, in a beautiful and historic space. Cannot recommend enough.

A nice enough pub with friendly staff. The wood paneling everywhere makes the place feel dark and cosy, and it certainly feels old and traditional. There isn’t the biggest range of drinks available on draught but the collection of whiskeys is extensive. The dining tables are very traditional and give a more sophisticated vibe, which might be why it seems so popular at lunch time. With the nice relaxing atmosphere I’ll be returning.
Went for St Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage. It was the best I ever had. Husband had Cajun salmon with tomato risotto. It was equally amazing. Poured a perfect pint as well. Yummo. Live a few blocks away. Always wanted to try it and finally have. Will definitely go back.
We had the best experience here! Great food and wonderful staff.
A small establishment with good food and spirits.
I had a salad and the Shepard pie. Very good pie. Also tasted some of a friends fries with the garlic mayo and they were some of the best French fries I ever had. Good service from the server. Would recommend while in NYC.
We greatly enjoyed our lunch here. My swordfish dish was excellent, and everyone else enjoyed their selections as well. The place had a fun vibe, and our server was awesomely friendly and helpful.
Loved this old fashioned bar, that's been around for ages. When you step inside you feel like you're in another era. The space is big and includes a back room. I love the wood paneling. The Cocktails are good and the prices are reasonable. I'll have to go back and try the food. The service is good.
Got two burgers, not juicey at all. Small amounts and it's just very dry. Even the medium rare. For $20 a burger just go to wendys. The beer is $10. Server is nice.
Weird going into a Irish bar and having white linen cloth. Like they are trying to justify their prices. Just go somewhere else
We visited The Landmark Tavern on 11th Avenue. The steak was flavorful and well prepared, and the beer – especially the dark Guinness – was excellent. The burger, on the other hand, was nothing remarkable. The fried chicken fingers were decent, but very simple, and the fries came overcooked. What really disappointed me was the side dish: the menu listed “steamed vegetables,” which normally suggests peppers, tomatoes, corn, or maybe eggplant. Instead, I was served a full plate of broccoli. Since I cannot tolerate broccoli, this should have been clarified on the menu. A more accurate name would be Steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli.
Abe was our server. He was extremely attentive, professional and gave great communication!! It was across the street from our hotel. So conveniently located.. my husband absolutely loved the vintage look of it. Our food was okay... but our service and communication from abe was extraordinary!!! He was so personable... we went back in for a drink after our day touring new york city and to our surprise, abe was the server again. And we were just as pleasantly pleased as we were the first visit!
A great dinner at Landmark Tavern in Hell’s Kitchen.

Opened in 1868, it is one of the oldest continuously operating bars in NYC.

Back in the day, it was literally waterfront property - there was no 12th Avenue until the 1880’s when it was created with landfill.

We had the corner beef & cabbage and braised lamb shank - both were delicious.
Foods service and atmosphere were all great! The waitress and the bartender were super friendly and attentive; my hamburger (sirloin and Swiss cheese) was delicious as well as the French fries! I also had an Aperol spritz which was also very good. The place is very clean and there are tables suitable for all size of groups.
I have been semi regularly coming to landmark for almost two years and on Monday’s.

The classic decor on the outside and from when you walk in the bar, you feel as if you stepped back in time to the late 1800’s when this bar was first established.

The dark decor give it a grimy but cool layout, Mondays, they usually have a band in the back playing Irish music.

Though this place is a bar, they have some solid food options. I usually get the fish & chips and to be honest, it’s amongst the best in the city. So much flavor and with a side of salad to keep it extra flavorful.
The bangers and mash are also a bar classic if you’re more on the heavy side of a meal.

I am not a big beer drinker; however, when I go to Landmark, I must always get the “Landmark Ale”. It’s a perfect light side beer and just hits well after one of their classic meals.

Peter has been there for quite some time and usually looks out with a round on the house before I leave at the end of the night.

If you want to feel as if you’re stepping back in time, not be bothered and just enjoy a beer while watching a game? Head to Landmark.
The draft beers, fish and chips do not disappoint and more importantly, it’s a price of NYC as well as Hell’s Kitchen history.
Two in our party have celiac disease so we have to eat strictly gluten free which I wasn’t expecting to find at a tavern. Our pleasant server recommended the fresh grilled fish. We had fresh grilled halibut, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies. It was amazing! We will be back!
I stopped in today while I was in the area since I had this restaurant on my radar for a while, and I love visiting places that have a long history. I was greeted and served by Pratap, and he was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage, and it was very good. The Corned Beef was really the star of the dish as it was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth. The menu isn't too large, but it looks like the portions are very generous for the prices. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place where it gives off a classic pub look. I definitely recommend it as this is one of those places that is great for a quick bite, a date night, or just grab a couple of drinks.
