Let me start by saying I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for over five years, and tonight was the last time I will ever spend a dollar here.

The issue started when Uber delivered the wrong order. I ordered ginger soup, a ginger ale, and pan-fried dumplings. Instead, I received a completely different order that I didn’t recognize and had never ordered before. Mistakes happen, so I simply called the restaurant expecting someone to help resolve the issue.

That’s when the real problem began.

After struggling just to get someone on the phone, I was told by the person at the front that she could not speak English and could not help me. I was then transferred to a manager who was just as unhelpful. At no point did anyone make a genuine effort to resolve the issue, take my information, process a refund, or even explain what could be done.

To make matters worse, the food I received was worth less than what I actually paid for. I was left with food I didn’t order, no refund, and no solution. In the end, I walked away with absolutely nothing except frustration and the feeling that my money had been taken without any accountability.

Customer service is what separates a good business from a bad one, and tonight’s experience was some of the worst customer service I have ever received. If you operate a business in a community, there should be a way for customers to communicate with staff when something goes wrong. When there is no communication and no effort to help the customer, it raises serious questions about how much the business values the people who support it.

As a Harlem resident, I find this unacceptable. After more than five years as a loyal customer, I will never eat here again. I hope management reads this because the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. If this is how they handle problems, I would strongly encourage others to think twice before ordering from this establishment.

Service is always quick. I’ve eaten here multiple times. I’m Chinese so the noodles could be spicier in my opinion but i always love the cumin and traditional. Noodle varieties are great and perfect chewiness
So delicious the chicken scallion ginger with regular thickness noodles! Plus, a generous amount served. Will definitely come back again!😁
The food was delicious and the staff was very helpful. Bren, who took our order, was especially friendly, kind, and extremely attentive. My friends and I were all very happy with our meals, which we described as scrumptious, delicious, very yummy. We really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back.
We love take out from Hand Pulled Noodle! The ding ding chopped noodles are my favorite. Chewy and delish. While I love spice. I stick with the low because it’s the spice on the medium or high are hella hot! If you want a cute dine in experience the counter is easy and great for people watching. And for all New Yorkers carrying their tote bags around they have those handy hooks we all love.
Hot Tip. If you are getting pick up. Order while you walk so it’s ready! It’s always best to do pick up or dine in so everything is super hot and fresh.
Had a delicious lunch here. The noodles and beef were cooked very well. I ordered the 2nd-most spicy level and it was almost spicy enough. The spring rolls were okay (I prefer the Vietnamese version). All in all; however, I was highly satisfied.
I love everything about HandPulled Noodle Harlem. The people who cook and the one who attend are awesome. The place is cozy. Food delicious and great music!
First, if you are looking for traditional Chinese cuisine, stay away from here, it’s 1 star for me.

But if you don’t mind Americanized Chinese food, this actually 4 star for you.

My Da Pan beef is sweet, which I never thought of in million years. But they do offer generous amounts of beef cubes. And the beef soup noodle has good amount of marinated beef which is good, but the soup base and noodle is no no for my traditional Chinese taste buds. Lamb burger is acceptable.
This spot is 12/10 my favorite place in the area. I recently moved to Jersey City however when I’m in the area, I make it a point to grab food from here specifically! The staff is so hardworking and nice. They always have a smile on their face and welcome any questions you may have. Love this place and you will too!
Came all the way from Boston for these noodles based on a friend’s recommendation. They were the BEST thing we had to eat during our weekend away. The staff was fantastic and the food was even better. Definitely recommend
the curry stir fry and herbal beef stew are to die for!! this was the first restaurant i ever visited in new York when i moved here 6 years ago, and i still take my friends and family here. it is my favorite restaurant in the city! highly recommend.
I had the pork and chive dumplings and the beef soup with the lo mean noodles. The dumplings were packed with flavor and left me wanting more. The soup had a good base and the noodles were chewy and flavorful. I will definitely be back. Adding to my fat map! 😋 my cousin had the veggie soup and she is picky. She said the flavors were tasty and the veggies were fresh. My son had the chicken ginger soup. He enjoyed the mild flavor.
This was my first time trying hand-pulled noodles, and it was a very pleasant experience. When we arrived, we could order either at the kiosk or the cash register. The restaurant was quiet, and our food came out quickly after ordering. I got the Dapan Ji noodles, which were delicious. I also have tree-nut and fish allergies, and when I informed the lady at the counter, she kindly let me know that most of their dishes don’t contain those ingredients, which made me really happy. The food was a bit on the salty side, but I’m sure that could easily be adjusted if you let them know to go lighter on the salt.
the food is AMAZING! some friends and i stopped by during a walk and this will now be a frequented spot. quick service and very cute area, but small. the teas are also very refreshing and not too sweet.
