This place is awesome! The hot bar upstairs has tons of great options and is very reasonably priced. Downstairs they have a truly outstanding beer selection, including a number of rare beers.

Every single day, this market disappoints, from the expired food to the security. I been a customer for over 5 years and every single week to be treated the way I was today. Security is extreme rude telling me I stole from the market and screaming at me, I’m not coming back after been treated that way. Management needs to do a better job when it comes to their security asking for receipts and not follow people on the street. Once again, extremely disrespectful I don’t need to be accused and screamed at about stealing. Extremely unprofessional

Ordered a TON of snacks and food ahead of a big storm for our office. They were the only ones who would deliver that volume to us and were incredibly kind and helpful.

Don't know why folks are so negative. This place is abundantly stocked with groceries both for home and for quick grab hot meals. Not to mention, having all of this great inventory steps away from times Square. As a frequent NYC visitor, this place is absolutely crutch for us.<br><br>We stop by all the time for a quick pick me up. Thanks for the great selections!

I cannot recommend this place enough. I don’t know where else you can get average priced meals in NYC, a bagel toasted with unlimited cream cheese is $1.50 but the DINNER BUFFET?! Slow roasted turkey, pork, beef tips that are fork tender, all the Spanish rices, chili, mashed potatoes. I got the BEST $20 plate of good old fashioned soul food and when I say it cleansed my very soul…😌<br><br>Deli, sushi, hot bar, breakfast, bakery, this place has everything. No lines. Very affordable. Delicious beyond delicious. Free seating area. Highly recommend if in the area or staying nearby.

Thank you Food Emporium NYC!!! $50 Cake that was ready in one day- that absolutely stunned my partner and his friends on his birthday! Everyone said the cake looked amazing and it tasted great!!! Special thank you to Mildred and the bakery! I live local and they will now be my go-to for special occasion cakes!<br><br>P.s. (added some decor of my own from home)

I like Food Emporium, the variety of items are great. We went looking for kiwi 🍇 but they didn't have.

Awesome selection of grab-and-good fresh food options, including sushi, chicken, sandwiches, salads, wraps, many more. The bakery was impressive, as well as the $12.99/lb hot deli bar. Really glad we stopped and enjoyed the sushi, as well as fish, rice and broccoli. Enjoyed.<br><br>The beer selection is also impressive of NY selections.<br><br>I did not explore the grocery store, but it looked really good. Looks like an excellent spot for locals as well as tourists.

I usually walk to another lower priced grocery store but it’s been closing early since the pandemic started. So I decided to give in and grab a few things here at the Food Emporium. The freshness of the fruits and vegetables are unmatched in this neighborhood. No small feat. It’s well lit and the colors of the produce section calls me like a vegetarian siren is singing lol. I also like how they placed the vegan items in the produce section. Awesome stuff. Great location two story downstairs they have all the bread and it’s more like a supermarket upstairs is most ready made food such as salmon, meatballs, sushi, salads etc biggest variety I’ve ever seen on hot ready food and it’s not that bad I really liked it and enjoyed shopping here, the prices are high in my opinion but I think that is everywhere in NY the rents are high so they have to make it somewhere, if you do downstairs and still need to shop upstairs just tell the cashiers you will pay upstairs they will let you no problem. Al in all great location and you will find anything any supermarket will have.

This a a large store with full stock of fresh food , groceries , alcohol , sundries , medicines vitamins , minerals etc etc. Fresh food made daily upstairs. As you enter a atm available. There is a cute area to sit down and enjoy a coffee or a snack on the go. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly with me at checkout. Lighting in the shop is good<br>A large variety of vitamins and headache tablets. Averagely priced !<br>Self check out is for cards only and not cash<br>Produce is fresh and there are some exotic fruits also available. Did notice that a gent with a Zimmer frame ( walker) found it very challenging to enter the store as the turnstile isn’t Automattic. No WiFi available here

Good selection of meats produce and various canned goods and pastas located upstairs and downstairs it's conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan. Off and open late and early. Customer service is okay. They do sell fresh flowers.
