Wow—I hadn’t visited the Bay Terrace Shops since graduating from a nearby school, but coming back brought back such wonderful memories. Like many shopping centers, the store lineup has certainly evolved over the years. Some longtime businesses have closed while others have taken their place, but it was nice to see a few familiar favorites still going strong, such as Chico’s and Men’s Wearhouse.

What makes Bay Terrace special is that it has always felt like a true neighborhood shopping center rather than a typical mall. The open-air layout, ample parking, and mix of stores make it an easy and relaxed place to spend a few hours browsing or running errands. Today the center includes a variety of retail shops, dining options, and services, creating a convenient stop for both locals and visitors.

Even though the retail landscape continues to change, the area still has that familiar community feel that many longtime Queens residents appreciate. Walking around the shops again reminded me of simpler days—meeting friends after school, grabbing a quick bite, and just enjoying the neighborhood atmosphere.

Some things may have changed, but Bay Terrace still manages to keep its charm. It remains a pleasant spot to shop, stroll, and revisit old memories.

I went to eat at Ben's deli with a friend everything was very good. But being this is the second time I have been at bay terrace its amazes me how since covid everything has changed. Alot of places out of business. A couple of new places. But not like the good old days.
Presence of home goods make this place super busty on Saturday and Sunday’s. Gloria’s pizza is also very good
I have watched this place change for 40 years. It always feels like coming home. I always feel safe, never had an issue or bad experience in any of the many businesses throughout the years.
I met up with my wife at Paneras. Food was good. Service was great and places to sit! We would have purchased a coffee front Starbucks, but we were much to caffinated! After living in Bayside for many years, it's still a great place to shop!
bay terrace shopping center has changed for the worst. it used to be clean, safe, and easy to enjoy. now it’s messy and loud. shopping carts everywhere. kids hanging out, kicking soccer balls, hitting cars, being rude. security just drives around and does nothing.

there are too many food spots and not enough real stores. the place feels neglected. it used to have pride. now it just feels tired.
We enjoy this shopping center for several reasons. Their parking lot is large and usually there’s no issue with finding a spot. Their dining selection is expanding and the addition of Home Goods a few years ago has made it a definite go-to for seasonal items for our home. Stop & Shop is well stocked. Chip City, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks along with Panera, Outback, Chipotle, avo taco and Cold Stone are great pluses. Rosa’s Pizza a bit overpriced but always busy. They are adding additional retailers here and they revamped the outdoor area to include seating and tables. It’s good to see mall management & owners making an investment in their property and evolving with the times. Visible security officers ride around the parking lot, which is a definite plus. Upper level has the AMC theaters, more parking and additional eateries and a pediatric urgent care medical building, all very convenient for the community. Only minor criticism is the Post Office is very small and usually a line out the door with one agent handling everything.
I happily recommend this shopping center that pretty much has it all!!
Went to Ben's best for a late lunch. The food was good - pastrami on rye, turkey on rye with Russian, mashed potatoes with grilled onions, linzer cookies....the wait staff was the best part of the experience- friendly and helpful. We usually go to Ben's in Carle pl. And used to go to the location in Rego Park once upon a time.
Humungous outdoor shopping center in Bayside Queens. Lots of parking. So many stores. Nice way to spend an overcast day, because there is too much walking involved for a sunny one. Very clean and safe. Everything is accessible ♿️.
Some pics of me in costume helping Santa's Workshop Toy Drive with my fellow Star Wars cosplay group.

It was a great feeling to do charity work along side Santa and having fun taking pictures with fan's.
This mall has several stores Verizon Home goods Chase Stop Shop Applebees LaneB Pizza Panera NY&Co many Childrens stores. It's awesome to see patrons eating at tables outside Applebees. This lot has plenty parking. Patrons were out in ALL the stores. AMC theatres is not open yet...
I went to see jumanji. Tickets are fair priced. Place was decently clean. My chair worked fine. It was a 4/5 being clean. Sound quality was good, overall I had a good movie.
The place seems alright but need more trees, tables and some free entertainment pay for Bay Terrance that will be awesome and this will packed full of people on the weekends.
Plenty of stores and outside parking .They have a movie theater and restaurant up on the second level, nice place to come shopping n eating.
Nice place and Good environment. On June 04 2018 I met david @dunkin donuts here. David looks like an honest and hard-working guy. We share a good time together. David Jing Zhao will help to win the election 💪💪💪
