Beware!!! I always bring my own shopping bags and place my produce in them because carts are never available. After paying for my groceries, I was stopped twice at the exit while two employees checked my receipt. Then, another employee actually ran after me to my car demanding to check my receipt again.
What exactly is wrong with this picture? This level of treatment toward paying customers is excessive, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable.

Mangos 2 for $3 and yet I was still overcharged. It even says 2 for $3. Cakes were decent though but a lil pricy.

I went in this place for the first time because I saw that they had halal meat. I went to the back where there was the meat department. there is no organization there at all. I didn’t see a line and all I saw was people waiting and speaking their own language. When it was my turn to order. He told me that there was a line and pointed to the back but took someone else that got there after me. All because he spoke their language. I don’t think that’s right.since im not from Uzbek and dont speak their language i felt like
I was treated that way. Speak to your employees and tell them all to treat all ethnicities equally. I just left the supermarket and brought halal meat someone where else. Very disappointing

I purchased 7 pounds of minced beef from this store. The meat was not available on display, so the butcher went to get it from the back. When I got home, I noticed a funky smell and the color of the meat was off, indicating it was not fresh. I did not use the meat, as it seemed unsafe.

I wanted to share this so others can be aware and check meat quality carefully before buying.

Smaller than the flagship but still very good. Tons of ready to serve food at about $10 per pound. All meat is Halal which is similar to Kosher and it is undergoing a strict supervision.
Parking is a problem here.

I was overcharged on my purchase today.

I was charged for an extra bag ($0.44), an extra samsa ($3.99 — I bought two but was charged for three), and one croissant was charged at $5.99 instead of $3.99.

Very disappointing experience — I trusted this store, but clearly receipts need to be checked carefully.
I expect a refund for the incorrect charges

I’ve been coming to this market since they first opened, and the quality of the meat has always been good. I used to shop at the original Brighton Beach location, but as the business expanded, my schedule got busier and this location became more convenient.

Unfortunately, the system for ordering fresh meat here is completely disorganized. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, only to be told I needed to go to the back of a different line on the left side. That’s unacceptable.

There should be clear signage or a ticket number system to manage the line properly. Until that’s fixed, I won’t be returning to this location.

Great place to shop if you are from post soviet countries. It’s always clean. Employees are always polite and organized. Whatever you need, just ask.
I would strongly recommend to check the cake section. They do have a bakery next door but keep some here as well.

This grocery store is truly the best of the best. The selection is amazing, everything is fresh, and the store is clean and well organized. The cakes and salads were absolutely awesome—fresh, delicious, and made with care. The staff is friendly, and shopping here is was a great experience. I really wish we had a store like this in Jacksonville, FL!

Be careful when getting food. I found a piece of melted plastic knife in my Korean crispy salad. I have no idea how something like that could happen. I tried to resolve the situation by phone, but they don’t even pick up.

Seems like a well organized, clean supermarket. Shelves are packed, nice merchandising throughout, plus a very large fruit and vegetable department. I am very wary of their expansive hot food section. It’s all open and cannot be very clean. Plus parking is a disaster; Coney Island Avenue was already a mess, and now there are double parked cars in front of the supermarket. They have no parking lot. There has to be a better way.

This Halal supermarket sets the Gold Standard for Brooklyn. 🥇🥇

I’m not easily impressed but this place blew my socks off! Good quality, selection, & value. 👍👍

This place is packed and I understand why. They have it all! Meats, vegetables, fruits, a bakery & Gyro stand. 13 cashiers for checkout.

You’re overwhelmed with food choices as you enter. Where to begin is my question?

1 trip won’t get it done. You will need to return at least 5 times to fully experience it.

Very organized & tidy. However, the buffet food section could use an over glass to protect against people sneezing. Also, you can feel a strong breeze from outside as the door opens and that may carry in some pollutants.

But I am highly impressed with every other aspect of this establishment! Well done 🙏🏻
