Incredible time hosting our company event at Tanner Smith’s. The hosts assigned to us were brilliant. Jane, Sinead, and Shane were all incredibly on it. Greeted our customers right as they came in. They were patient, thorough, and professional. Would certainly book the same back room again during our next NYC tradeshow. Good choices of food and drink and working with KayTee on the menu months ahead was easy and honest. Cheers to the TS team for helping make our customer event a huge success. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I love the vibe of Tanner Smith’s!! The food was GREAT! The drinks were strong! The vibe was amazing! They have a nice upstairs vibe for people who want to eat or chill and have a drink. The downstairs is where the parties at for people who want a party! The waitress was really nice, and recommended some great food. She even helped me make a couple of drink decisions! It was my birthday and they gave me a frozen shot! Please stop by if you are in New York.

This place was awesome! You actually felt like you were in a 1920s speakeasy that had multiple rooms and Bars throughout so you can have more space. The decor was great and the canapes were so fun. I went there for a private event but would go there again and again!

There's an ambiance that can't be explained unless you step foot in the establishment. The service I've had in YEARS. (And that's coming from southern hospitality) Ask for Brona to be your waitress. You won't regret it!

I loved how they were playing the old school Charlie Chaplin movies! Great music 🎶 and the food was delicious! 🤤 went back for more Mac. It was even better the second time.

Get the banana bread! Absolutely amazing! The mocktail was great. What a delicious burger. I really want to come back here. Very cozy and all of the staff were wonderful.

Such a good time! The drinks were phenomenal. The teapot drink was so cute, and tasted delicious. Food was amazing! I cant wait to visit again!

Made a reservation in advance since I had a party of five and when I realized my party was arriving a few mins later than the reservation time I was able to ask the hostess to adjust the reservation and it was done very smoothly and I was able to sit at the bar while waiting for more of the party to show up. Very friendly and welcoming space. Had live music playing when we went on a Saturday. The brunch options were very good and the bottomless drinks were a good touch. Was super glad when the server gave us a notice for when the 90 mins were nearing for bottomless drinks and allowed us to put in one last round of drinks. The birria chimichanga were really filling and a good portion size. One of my friends had the avocado toast and it was a bit cold.<br><br>Would def visit again whether solo, for a date or for a group session. But advice for if doing more than 2 ppl and you don’t want to sit at the bar, definitely reserve before going as it is rather busy.

Make a reservation, especially if you have a party larger than 2 because this place is packed ok ! Parking is hard to find but that’s NYC for ya ! We parked at a garage a few blocks away ($25) and walked back to the restaurant. While you enter, there’s a live band playing music which is cool but it makes the bar area / front of restaurant loud. It’s a bit quieter towards the back. The place is huge and the decor gives “grandma’s house”. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled so good. Now let’s get to the GOOD STUFF !! The food is 1000/10 omg ! The waffle literally melts on your tongue 😛 I would highly recommend the Birria Chimichanga. A bunch of chaotic goodness wrapped together. Portions are great too. I don’t remember our waitresses name but she was so sweet and attentive. The drink menu is overwhelming. There’s an option for everything and everyone. I do like that they break each section down and provide an explanation for the drinks in each section. I can appreciate that. Ultimately, we went with the bottomless mimosa and it did not disappoint. Overall, a great brunch experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We stopped into Tanner Smith’s and ended up heading down to their speakeasy called Polly, which was a great surprise. The atmosphere had that classic speakeasy vibe, lively but not overwhelming, and the aesthetic of the space felt unique compared to a lot of other Midtown spots. Even on a Wednesday night the place was busy with a good mix of people, many on first dates or casual nights out. It felt less touristy than other bars near Times Square, which gave it a more local energy.<br><br>We kept it simple with food, sharing the chicken tenders and the everything pretzel bites, which hit the spot for bar bites. For drinks, I ordered the Irish Bill and we also tried the Cantinero. Both were well made and balanced, and the bar menu overall had a strong mix of creative cocktails and classics.<br><br>The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even smoother. Between the atmosphere, the drinks, and the food, Tanner Smith’s stood out as a fun and easygoing spot to wind down after a long day. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good bar near Times Square that still feels a little more authentic than the usual tourist stops.

We were greeted when we walked in. Very cute restaurant. Great service. We tried the truffle mac which was 10/10. I wasn't a fan of the truffle fries only because they were soggy vs well done. The peach pancakes are made with egg which is NOT disclosed on the menu. I didn't realize it until I took my first bite. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. I was disappointed that it was made with eggs because pancakes are my absolute favorite. They were nice enough to take them off my bill. An order of two pancakes is enough for two people.

Listen. Worth the hype and I'm not even sure if there is hype ( I feel like there's gotta be right?! Lol)but if there is, WORTH 👏🏾IT 👏🏾!!<br><br>The food is *salsa dances*. The interior is visually stunning. Now I did have some lingering questions about service but I don't like to draw any definitive service conclusions until I've visited a couple of times so I'll update if necessary.<br><br>But overall, Worth the hype.<br><br>Favorite item tasted: Birria Chimichanga<br>Get that foooorrr sureeeee(hopefully it's as good as when we had it)<br><br>Eat swell friends

The decor, atmosphere, and cleanliness (especially in the bathroom) is excellent. However, the food was just fine for the price point. I felt the pancakes, while by itself tasted good, could have used more syrup for the portion. The spicy burger was not spicy at all as well. Lastly, the service was slow and inattentive but not judging too harshly because you never know what can be happening in the kitchen/restaurant that day.

The food and drinks were superb! Amazing taste.<br>The ambiance had a modern meets classical vibe that I found intimate and romantic.<br>The service was welcoming and helpful, and our waitress was attentive and had recommendations when asked. I really enjoyed our experience and I would definitely return. I think you should check them out!
