I met a friend at Sushi Tokyo on Kings Highway and East 7th Street on Thursday at 5:30 pm to catch up, and we had a very good experience.
The waitress was attentive, polite, and pleasant, and the food was fresh and tasty. We ordered the Laguna Roll with spicy tuna, cucumber, avocado, and crunch; the Tokyo Salad with romaine, cucumber, avocado, pepper, mango, tomato, carrot, and cashews with ponzu dressing; and the Yamato Roll with spicy salmon, spicy kani, lemon, crunch, black pepper tuna, avocado, spicy mayo, and sweet sauce.
The Tokyo Salad was a generous portion, and everything tasted fresh. For dessert, we tried a new special cheesecake from the menu, and it was very good too.
It was a nice, relaxed place to meet and enjoy good kosher sushi. Overall, we had a great chat and a very good meal.

Great restaurant! Nice people. My friend and I had dinner there, the waiter Sasha is a very nice girl! Very helpful and sweet. She suggested very good dishes to us!
Sushi Tokyo? Ohhh let me tell you something about this place. You have NEVER tried a truffle toro hand roll until you have put one of these in your mouth. From the nori to the truffle to the quality tuna… mwah mwah mwah… perfection!!!! Totally recommend. 10/10. Bring ya motha, ya fatha, ya gran-matha, and even ya gran-fatha. While we’re at it, bring your furry friend. Wait, not your furry friends…you know, like a pet! Actually, I don’t think pets are allowed here… call in advance idk man. Anywho, come stop by!
Sushi was amazing and they sat us immediately. Servers were extremely attentive. One the other few places open late on a Sunday. Thank you!!!
Open later with quality food! Loved the atmosphere and decor, but the food was amazing. Fresh veggie rolls. The fried wontons had great flavors. And we had to get dessert. It’s kind of hard to pick what you want when everything on the menu sounds so good (and it is)!
Insane food. Really, really good. Everything tasted fresh and on point, and the service was great too. Definitely impressed.
Really enjoyed the sushi here. Everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. The atmosphere was great and the service was friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
I visited Tokyo Sushi in Brooklyn with pretty high standards — I’m Korean, so I’ve had sushi many times and honestly didn’t expect to be impressed. But this place surprised me in the best way.

The fish was incredibly fresh, clean-tasting, and well balanced. Each piece felt carefully prepared rather than rushed, and the rice texture was spot-on. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency.

The atmosphere was also amazing. The vibe was warm, stylish, and relaxed, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The jazz playing in the background made the whole experience even better — it elevated the mood without being overwhelming.

Overall, I didn’t come in with big expectations, but I left genuinely impressed. Great sushi, great ambiance, and great music. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Brooklyn.
My husband and I, along with his family, have been coming to Sushi Tokyo for years, and it’s become such a special place for us. We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and so many milestones here, and every single time it feels just as amazing as the first.

The staff is genuinely warm and welcoming — they make you feel like family. The food is absolutely incredible. The sushi is unbelievably fresh, melts in your mouth, and is consistently outstanding. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Maki Monday is always such a fun treat, and Jazz Wednesdays create the best vibe — cozy, classy, and just such a great atmosphere to unwind and enjoy.

The restaurant is always spotless, the ambiance is beautiful, and the entire experience just checks every box. Sushi Tokyo isn’t just a place we eat — it’s a place where we’ve made memories for years, and we’ll continue coming back.Definitely recommend!!!!
From the moment I walked into Sushi Tokyo, the staff treated me to an experience unlike any other in the kosher world, the bar, the menu, the food, and the atmosphere were all above and beyond great. Thank you sushi Tokyo you guys deserve the love!!!
Chaim
First of all I would like to say i’m impressed! All my life I have been a picky eater, only ate basic bland meals. It was my younger sister Elishevas birthday and she wanted to try sushi.

I wasn’t that eager but we still went the two of us.

When we came we saw a flyer on the table that said “omakase” I asked the waitress what is that she said “It’s better fish, it’s very light and delicious” I said okay let’s do it.

It came with 5 different things THAT WERE SO GOOD!!!! It was flavors i’ve never tasted before like such an insane taste I never expected myself to like this kind of food. And then the service was so nice we also got such yummy strawberry no alcohol drinks. Bill wasn’t too expensive and now i’ve developed a love for sushi!!! Omakase to be exact haha. William the manager told us to leave a review and we will definitely spread the word, it’s very hard to find places like this within our community especially in south brooklyn. Valerie and Aydin were good.

That was a few days ago today i ordered for delivery and I tried specialty roll Tsunami. GUYS IM OBSESSED. Definitely come here or order to go.
The restaurant is located in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn. They prepare kosher Japanese cuisine and have multiple locations. Soups, salads, appetizers, sushi rolls, entrees, beverages and catering are available. They currently offer customers a 5% discount when ordering online for pickup. The restaurant is closed on Friday and reopens at 10:00 PM on Saturday when it is usually crowded. I ordered two poke bowls and a salmon roll. The food was well-prepared and tasted very good. Friendly and helpful staff.
Unbelievable - the nicest of all franchises and probably one of the best kosher sushi restaurants we’ve ever been to! Highly recommend. The service also was outstanding. This is not a quick service sushi place - it’s a delicious dining experience!!

Highlights - an incredible parve parm salad with salmon, fresh delicious toro, interesting and tasty parve Mac and cheese. Wild stuff at a sushi Tokyo!
This sushi spot is a hidden gem! 🍣 The quality of the fish is top-notch, and the service is always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it perfect for a night out with friends or a date. The sushi chef's creativity shines through in every roll.

Highly recommend the spicy tuna and salmon sashimi – they're absolute perfection! 😋 5 stars isn't enough – I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
Been here about 4-5 times now and each time was great. Food is well prepared with good service. Good ambience and good vibes. I would maybe update some of the cocktails just to switch things up a bit. Keep up the good work.
