Ok so let's start by saying that the place is really nice the workers are really nice and we had two servers Lucia was on point!! The other one was eye candy!!! Ok but the food was really great, seasoned really well the sevice was fast !!! We are definitely coming again!!!

Visited Sugar Restaurant around 3PM and the place looked really nice. It also wasn’t crowded at that time which made it comfortable. The music selection was definitely a vibe with good R&B and Hip-Hop playing throughout the restaurant.<br><br>The service wasn’t terrible but could’ve been better. The staff didn’t really check on us much to see if we needed anything. We had to ask for extra napkins and it would’ve been nice if they automatically brought extra plates in case couples wanted to try each other’s food. They also had a baseball game on the TVs but the picture kept freezing.<br><br>Now for the food — this was definitely the highlight. We originally ordered the Chicken Mofongo but they accidentally brought out the Beef Rib Mofongo instead, which actually cost more. We didn’t complain and honestly I’m glad we didn’t because it was really good. The beef was flavorful, tender, and literally falling right off the bone. We also had the Half Rack BBQ Baby Back Ribs with mashed potatoes and those were good too — tender meat and tasty mashed potatoes. The Crispy Chicken Donuts were different but surprisingly solid, and the sauce that came with them was really good.<br><br>For drinks, we had a Piña Colada and margaritas. Both tasted good, but they definitely weren’t strong enough to justify the $15 price tag.<br><br>Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but probably not somewhere I’d return to. I’d give it about 3.5 stars.

The Ambience was really great. It looks so pretty with the flowers. The service was OK. The food was definitely excellent and the drinks they taste good but they was water down. Only thing. Is they take my order wrong? Online menu is Not same prices $ up more! And Some Drinks not there any more But It was Kool tho *

Amazing service they were so kind and attentive, food was also great! i went with my mom and we both agreed they had the best fettuccine alfredo!!! The atmosphere was lively so you might not be able to hear if you talking to someone but we didn’t mind. Overall i definitely will recommend this restaurant! 10/10

Visited Sugar Restaurant in the Bronx while in NYC and it did not disappoint. From the moment we sat down, everything felt elevated but still welcoming. Shoutout to Gabriel for taking great care of us—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better.

OMG we had a great time here. I took my daughter here for her 16th birthday along with a few of her friends and family and it was awesome. We had the best service from our server LUCIA , she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. She was attentive and down to earth. My daughter was happy and we left very satisfied. The atmosphere was good , the decor was really nice and everything was clean and nice. Go check it out.<br>Thanks again LUCIA for taking great care of us. ✨✨✨✨

OMG Lucia was the best. She really helped out with reservations and when we got here everything was in place. She always helps me when we come and I’m so glad that she is so helpful and attentive. 10/10 would be back and would definitely request her.

First time eating here and it was truly an awesome experience, calm and the service was great. Lucia did a really great job being attentive, helpful and welcoming! Thank you for the great service and delicious food! The rice, beans and teriyaki chicken were incredible.

I had a Piña Colada and Eggplant Parmesan, which hit the spot. Rosa, my server gave me outstanding service. I would definitely come back!

Overall, Sugar is a beautiful venue that delivers on atmosphere and drinks, but has major inconsistencies with service and food quality.<br>​A Vibe, Strong Drinks, and Hookah<br>​The aesthetics are a pleasure to view; the place is designed beautifully, making it a great spot for a night out. The music was good, contributing to the high-energy vibe. I also appreciate that the drinks are strong—they definitely don't skimp on the liquor here! The hookah was nice as well and a great addition to the evening.<br>​Service and Food Missed the Mark<br>​The rest of the experience, unfortunately, was a letdown. Our waitress forgot about our table several times, which led to frustratingly long waits. On the food side, the chicken was dry, and the highly anticipated tres leches was a huge disappointment. It didn't taste like tres leches at all; it was more like soggy cornbread.<br>​Bottom line: Come here for the great atmosphere and powerful drinks, but lower your expectations for the food and be prepared for potentially slow service.

Went for Saturday brunch with my girls and had an amazing time. The mimosas and sangrias were on point! We enjoyed the calamari’s & wings as our appetizers then I had the steak & eggs; the steak was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.<br><br>Huge shoutout to Lucia, our server, for the exceptional service! She gave us great recommendations along with customer favorites.<br><br>Will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to family and friends!

The food was amazing! The staff is attentive the second you walk in the door and the service was amazing from there. The food came in good time and the drinks were to perfection. The Merlot was great and the margarita was phenomenal and strong. I will definitely be back to try the short rib sandwich. (Pictures of the aftermath)
